I met Brooke Lynn and she was SOOOOOOOOOOO NICE. This was after her season. I love Yvie but I flat out told Brooke Lynn she deserved to win ! She was flattered but humble about it.
@@cxzact9204 - I think that season was a vehicle to introduce Brooke to the wider audience so DR Canada would be as successful as it could. There was likely a conversation prior to her even joining the show about where she would place. I doubt she ever thought she'd win as she won already. Hosting DRC is probably far more profitable and was more effective at increasing her fame than winning could have been. I think that season had 2 worthy winners.

nah, Roxxxy's track record at that time was better than Alyssa's. Plus, they were tryna build up that Rolaskatox vs Jinkx storyline, so I doubt they would've send Roxxxy home even if she didn't do a wig reveal. Alyssa also mentioned in untucked that she doesn't know the words, which is why she keeps turning her back. So, if anyone was saved here, it was Alyssa.

Ru’s face when Milk came down the runway in the Klein Epstein & Parker suit is something I think about all the time. You can see it in her eyes, she was not pleased at all. But Milk did get good critiques for this outfit so I guess it all worked out in the end.

Ugh, Brooke Lynn looked SO SICKENING after that reveal, she looks and carries herself like a goddess. I must've rewatched her reveal like 50 times when this episode aired, it was just so smooth and perfectly executed. She really said "Okay I bombed Snatch Game, I'm definitely in the bottom, but bitch, don't count me out just yet". And then she and Yvie served one of the best lipsyncs in herstory, and one of the only truly deserved double shantays. Legend.
Brooke did it with the quick reveal because you couldn't see it coming (unlike these girls nowadays, like Symone vs Mik, aka the tomato vs LA Laker) and then that choreo instead of just walking the look. Fucking legend.

There has not been a moment of Drag Race in the 37 seasons since the Snatch Game episode of season 11 that has come close to the iconique nature of that episode. My jaw is still on the floor. Brooke Lynn Heights and Yvie Oddly owned the show that episode even though they both bombed in the Snatch Game.
The context of the two frontrunners being in the bottom is one reason this lip sync is so great. One of the few truly deserved double shantays. Still thrills me 2+ years later.
The shady camera paining to Silky is also so damn funny
Milk was the trendsetter that gets bashed by mainstream first before they step up the strangeness in later seasons. She would fit in perfectly with later seasons, but also risk disappearing.
Milk is still underrated! The drag she gave is iconic !
She was already on a "later season" (as3) and she grew a big ol' head and completely lost her sense of kookiness. I'm sure some of the edit made her look like a diva but she had a "I've been on magazine covers and fashion show runways so I'm better than all of you" attitude on as3 and I didn't enjoy her as much as I did on season 6. She felt authentic on season 6, on as3 she just seemed like a generic pretty queen, IMO.

Knowing Yvie has EDS makes her lip syncs so hard to watch. As a fellow chronic pain sufferer i know first hand what pain comes from excessive activity and watching her dance and landing on the floor i can feel her pain and how much it must hurt her body. Its both inspiring and crazy.

I've been waiting for Joslyn to come back. She was so sweet and genuinely the best. The way she defended Milk from Gia disrespecting her drag and defending Laganja from all the other girls. She was a queen for the people 💖
