This breaks my heart! I'm black but not Nigerian or African by birth. I am a descendant of slaves who docked in South America after leaving the continent of Africa. I grew up in America and we've had and continue to have our own protests over the senseless murders of so many black women, men and children for as long back as I can remember by the hands of white supremacists in uniform. That alone hurts but the heartache I feel seeing people who look like me being murdered in Nigeria by those who most closely resemble them is an indescribable feeling.
