LOL. They combined 2 different videos. The cuckoo being eaten was from a different nest and video. I assume they did this because the actual conclusion to this cuckoo chick wasn't that exciting. Either the camera owner removed the chick or it starved to death. Either way combining 2 videos was wierd.

“Parent” tries to save it at the end, you can see for a split second. lol at the two chicks dipping out. The way the second chick just kinda quietly leaves the scene beforehand made me laugh. What happened to the two youngsters? I assume they couldn’t know the owl was coming; and it seems they left not at the same time. Was it naturally time for them to leave or did they go hide?

That was the raddest ending EVER for that bastard cuckoo chick. It spends all that time in the nest, seemingly recognized by each parent as an imposter. As a result, it's ignored during feedings. Then, just as it seems that both of the authentic chicks had just fledged, in comes the owl at the perfect time to put an end to that cuckoo's charade. Here's the thing, though. It all seemed too perfect of an ending. The nest itself, now filmed from a completely different angle (and, the first time, mind you), looks different. The surroundings...the vegetation...the angle of the hillside...it seems that you've attempted to fool your viewers. Alm i want to ask is why?

You have it backwards, and so does whoever posted this video. The cuckoo chicks are the larger ones that escaped. The bird that was eaten by the owl at the end is a bluebird chick.
