Moving the nest is not possible. how can the parents carry the chicks without killing them?? I strongly suggest that this is not possible. They could start another nest with new eggs, but how to keep the cuckoo from laying in that one?

Also witness that it is growing feathers. If the mother cuckoo sees her egg destroyed or chick dead, she will destroy this nest. In other videos, I can hear the cuckoo calling, so she sticks around and monitors, quite likely she has more than 1 nest to watch.

Cuckoo is usually 2-3 times larger than host bird and need to fledge within 20+ days. It needs 2-3 times more nutrient within similar nesting period, if there is competition it will be malnutrition.
