Hello yes, this is one weird video and honestly I don't know what's happening in it (yes, that's bad I know, you hush). I literally have no explanation so take what you will of this.
I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm not really going to be making any more Eddsworld videos (at least for a long time). I've completely fallen out of that fandom. I've gotten more absorbed in my own characters and stories (and returned to the Gravity Falls + OFF fandoms a little, as well as a new fandom: Deltarune). That basically means I will be mostly making OC related content. This is what I've always wanted to do.

My personal theory is we're not getting gravity falls back, but Bill Chiper's threats aren't empty. It's confirmed he will come back. "A different form, a different time." In a different show that the Director of gravity Falls will be working on, we will see another character not at first recognizable as Bill Cipher, but later it will be revealed his past gravity falls.

I remember being on the last episode, not knowing it was the last episode and when i checked to see what episode it was, it said season 2 episode 20. The smile on my face instantly turned into a frown. I was so eager on continuing but there were only 2 seasons. I cried during the ending scene and said, "Ive never been this sad because a cartoon ended". All the characters are amazing, i love the personalities and most of the fandom is holding up pretty strong even though it ended 7 years ago. I really hope we get some continuation on GF, i need to see bill get brought back (atleast i hope, that dorito is a menace to the universe but is just so cool smh) and i really wanna see dipper and mable when their older, if that happens. Anyways, i love GF sm, i wish it comes back!

Although I love this show with dear heart and think this universe's easily expandable, it's not needed. Just like with my other 3 favorite shows: Cowboy Bebop, Avatar, the last airbender, and Over the Garden Wall this show is short and leaves the rest to your imagination. Stories in these three are finished and feel very fulfilling. The story authors wanted to tell is complete and if you try to add something it will only ruin it. Every time a show was expanded in some sort after the initial ending, it was always worse and lower in quality. If you look at shows I mentioned, Korra was very plain and flawed continuation of the original plot and the movie is considered to be among some of the worst cinematic disasters. I never watched Netflix adaptation of cowboy bebop buy just from the reviews and the trailer. I can tell this show is wack. I like Gravity Falls just as it is, plus it's very rewatchbale as you catch new details every time.

This here is a masterpiece. It perfectly traps the nostalgia of gravity falls we all knew back in 2012. Gosh has it really been over 10 years since that next summer that never came? I love how in the background it counted up to 2020. Also the mental breakdowns dipper is having due to his PTSD with bill. Mable always standing up for him as usual and seeing all the characters a little older is great too. The music itself is sad, yet happy. It not only speaks about dipper feeling like gravity falls is his true home, but all of us who grew up with the show. What id give to go back there and have a new mystery to solve. That next summer note hurt to see cause that's what we all have been waiting for...a next summer. I think I can say on the behalf of everyone that yes, we know there will never be a 3rd season, but every year we get that stupid theory that makes completely 0 sense and have a twitch of hope. Although we all know it'll never come, we want it so so badly.

I just rediscovered this video, I used to watch it all the time years ago lol. I love that in your description you mention that you have no idea whats happening, but I think this video makes perfect sense. In the aftermath of there first summer, Dipper finds himself alone and haunted by the Trauma of Bill and Wierdmaggedon, but even with all that haunting him all he can ever think about is his next trip to his true home. From what I got from this animation and what other people have commented, I think I came to a conclusion on what this animation means. I think Dipper misses Gravity Falls because it was the only place he really felt at home. And he’s showing big signs of PTSD (Post Trauma Stress Disorder) from fighting Bill in the original show. 1:09 I think this part really solidifies this theory and this part 0:42 really solidifies his mental break err PTSD. 1:57 And I think this part is the bully talking about Dipper and saying how he’s too afraid to open up or try to fit in because of his PTSD and need to go back to Gravity Falls. I don’t nessescarily think he regrets going back home with Mabel and growing up with her, but still misses Gravity Falls. He misses his friends, he misses the one place he really feels at home and fitted into…. 2:30 And this scene shows how desperate he is to go back, he’s willing to shake Bill’s hand to go back! And I think that final scene is Dipper’s wish coming true, he’s going back to Gravity Falls! But something tells me that if that pact with Bill actually happened, in his mind or in real life, he mightttt not like this Gravity Falls…….. But hey! That’s just a theory! A FILM THEORY!!!! I finished rewatching the show recently and man I still love it to this day. It ended perfectly and doesn’t need a third season really. Found this and gotta say this is absolutely perfect Animation is beautiful and loved the music with it.

The animation along the music hit me deep not many songs can do that to me this vid is a work of art
i was honestly expecting worse at the end but I am thankful it isnt... after all these years of gravity falls, this mightve been the closest to bringing tears to my eyes. the years that went by, shows that I am not as young as I used to be, yet I still love the show. the references as well, Eddsworld, Adventure Time, Bendy, Star vs The Forces Of Evil (possibly), Little Nightmares (possibly), Undertale. I love it all and how the fandom comes up with what happens in the future, I love it and it just warms my heart that Gravity Falls, is one of the most popular and well known shows that I watched when I was a kid. the characters certainly were not in any way forgettable (BILL... why is he in my head?), I love it all and I cherish it

Lmao I first watched it when I was younger than Dipper and Mabel, and now I'm introducing my 7 year old brother to it and I'm the about same age as Wendy and Robbie :') it's bittersweet rewatching it for the first time with him, it unloads so many memories and I hope it's creating some good ones for him.

its not just the memories of this show, but the fact that everyone who has watched this, is probably 15- 20. I have always understood Dippers character, he's a socially awkward teenage geek obsessed with the paranormal and his other interests. I am just that. I have never found true home, except there is one place I feel home at, and that's when I am alone. I think his character is one of the greatest ways to write that one kid in your school, that people know, and plenty love, but is still his own person
It makes me cry that I understand that the series is over, it was my whole childhood, but it's also fun to remember the series

I absolutely love this take on what Dipper went through after the summer ended. I feel like people forget that he was only 12 being tormented by Bill. After going through everything that he did, there is no way he didn’t have some sort of PTSD later in life. It is also very fitting that Gravity Falls is the only place Dipper feels truly at home. Imagine having to go back to normal life after the summer he had and how re adjusting would be near impossible. I like to think Dipper and Mabel both moved to Gravity Falls once they turned 18.

Bro I agree this show was my fav for 3 years and now that I'm older I wondered how he didnt have trauma or any of that PTSD shit I mean he was 1 fuckin year older me currently and some how he has his sanity intact also I think he and Mabel should live together in the mystery shack after they turn 18 cause no where else should feel safe and if I get 1 reply on how it's impossible for bill to leave gravity falls cause of lore I will hunt you down
@@urphakeandgey6308 I think the fact that Bill couldn't get out of Gravity Falls would help. I mean I'm not sure but I think knowing that it was all contained in a certain area would help him with sorting out supernatural creatures in his every day life. Clearly there would PTSD, but he could definitely find a way to manage it by reminding himself Weirdmageddon is over with and even if it wasn't, he is safe away from Gravity Falls.
