I’m a home dialysis patient with a whole host of other medical problems and I constantly have literally life saving supplies delivered, including food for my feeding tube and anti-seizure meds. I’ll literally starve to death. Or not be able to do my dialysis (which also will kill me) and much more. So not to sour all dramatic but it truly is a matter of life or death for me to receive my packages which are delivered almost every day. None of which are a benefit to a random package thief. And rarely do I order anything “good” that somebody else could use, sell or have fun with. It’s all prescribed based on my diagnosis and lab results so it’s literally a waste of their time and puts my life in danger every single time. I wish they would think about things like this before they steal someone’s packages. Thanks for reading! Stay blessed!!!!

I am in the same boat as you guys! After having my seizure medicine stolen for the 3rd time, my mom got me one of those cameras that screw into your porch lightsocket. Best $49 ever spent. What really pisses me off is that *NONE* of the prescriptions that come are worth stealing so I know they just get thrown away while I'm stuck having to go through this complex, stressful situation that is costing me money AND contributing to me having more seizures. I wish you all the best with your health care journeys, and may anyone that tries to take a package from you trip, fall, and end up with 2 broken ankles... 😂
The only time I tried taking a package it happened to be medical stuff. I immediately returned it and never did it again. I was very ashamed.

I was going through chemotherapy treatments and I couldn't eat, only drink ensure, but unable to get up to go get it. So i had some delivered, and it was stolen, from my front porch, and so i starved. I am glad to see this guy get caught. So wrong. 😢

That’s horrible , I know how much of a lifesaver Ensure/meal replacement drinks are to people going through chemotherapy. My friend who has always been extremely skinny actually managed to gain a few pounds taking only Ensure during chemotherapy. On a positive note I have seen Ring videos where people come back and return Ensure and medication when the realize what they stole. I think stealing from someone’s home is as low as it gets, but to risk arrest knowing how important what they stole is means they aren’t too far gone and can still turn their life around if they wish.
It's not only during chemo that it's a lifesaver. I had heart surgery in February and was just barely able to eat for a few days. If I remember correctly (I'll admit to being a bit out of it for a bit following surgery), the doctor had to approve it. But I'd have no appetite at meal times, but would be hungry later at night. Now that I'm home I have a few here for just in case.
