ive used their products for 5 years (and am using the g pro x tkl) it's just not good. PBT over ABS anyday so that's actually a W.
The rounded corners are giving off old Gateway 2000 keyboard vibes.
The colouring too is a little old school.

Seriously. I really love their gamer yet minimalistic design, but cheap ABS caps for a $250 boards? What were they thinking? People reported that their keys already faded and shine just from just 3 months of use. Some manufacturers already use PBT as their standard while Logitech doesn't even use a quality ABS for their flagship boards. it's nuts! If only they made this or G713 black, I would go full team Logi.
Liking the look of this release. Both the headset and the keyboard, but they are way to pricey if you start looking at the specs.. way too expensive.. :S

this might be a silly question, but I can't find ANY information on this issue I'm having. I noticed at 3:07 when you wake the keyboard back up from inactivity it automatically starts your lighting feature. I have set my preference to starlight effect, but when I wake the keyboard up by hitting a key it flashes a immerse default effect, then full cyan colour, then starts my starlight lighting effect. I find this really disrupting on what I thought would be a little more smooth for the style/price of this item. seeing you not have an issue (from what I can tell) gives me faith, but I wanted to check on maybe if you have a specific setting or if you've experienced this at all?
Hmm, I can say I've had that issue. I've just set it to starlight, walked away so it goes to sleep and when I hit the spacebar, all keys lit blue and then the first key went yellow and the effect started. I'll stick with it and if it does happen, ill let you know.

It’s super simple, it’s plug and play pretty much between dongle and pc
How different is this from the G915 TKL besides being USB-C. How would you say it compare to ASUS Strix Scope or Claymore II? I like it because it's white, hard to find good offerings.
Have you found the answers to your question? Because I currently have the 915 tkl and the brown switches are very crappy after over a year of usage
@@LReis I'm not one to be picky about the feel of a keyboard, but I hate dirty keyboards. I just switched from a 915tkl to a 715 at the moment and don't feel uncomfortable, everything is fine.
@@LReis you can switch your switches on ur 915tkl but if u get this and ur g715 switches also feel "shitty" after a while u cant even get new ones

This is exactly my situation. I love my Pro keyboard but I can't have the wires with my setup (which is a laptop on a lap desk). I got the G915 since it was the only other option but I'm not a fan of the low profile keys so far. And I agree about the G715 in that I wish they didn't go for this generic "cute" look. I like the halo light because my room isn't that bright on its own, but the rest of that style is a bit too "cute" for my preferences, it makes it look cheap to me

No, they both need to be lightspeed to connect to one dongle.
how is this compared to G PRO X TKL
Does anyone know what you gain with the software? I unfortunately am not able to install it due to work policy. It lights up and everything, but I don't know if the G-Hub was necessary or not. Due to the price, I am wondering if I should find an alternative that does not require software... Thoughts?
Hello! So the software is used to change the RGB, assign key bindings and adjust game mode (where certain keys are turned off while gaming). Can push out firmware updates too i believe.

Yeh you can use with wired, with the cable supplies or your own, no problem at all.

Does oil from your fingers show up as easily on the keys as it does on the Logitech G915 TKL?
No. The white colour helps plus they are a matte finish. I've not seen any marks in daylight or overhead light.

Hey, thanks for the vid. I just bought my G715 and the dongle works great, but I can't seem to get any of my PCs/laptops to see the keyboard as a bluetooth device. What is the process for getting this keyboard paired with a PC via bluetooth? Do I need the Logitech G Hub software installed to do this?
Hi! You need to press the connection button at the top of the KB, it should turn blue and flash, being it’s in pairing mode. Then pair with your device. It’s detailed in the instructions 👍
@@TechNuovo Thanks for the response. I am pressing that button down and it starts flashing briefly for a few secs and then stops flashing. None of my computers see it on Bluetooth though... Do you think it may be faulty?
@@matthewreynolds4382 oh, not sure, firmware up to date? Or maybe even if it is, it’s a bug. I can confirm I did connect it to my laptop via Bluetooth so that is the way to do it.

@@IzzyKitt Not yet! I ended up buying the aurora key caps to start.. I think any pbt keycaps would work just be mindful how big they might be compared to the original keys and also the fonts might be different too.

Yes you can and thats actually what ive been doing. My keyboard doesnt move, so I leave it plugged in and just use the wireless mouse.

It has a detachable cable, so you can leave it plugged in 24/7 if you wanted to!
Hi, Idk if anyone else is having problem with this keyboard. I am using this on Mac and G Hub is having some serious problem with it. With connection to this keyboard, G hub stuck on loading page. Without connection, G Hub could open but once connected, it is telling me that there are some "critical problem" that it need reload. And, guess what, reloading with connection, we stuck on the loading page again. I like how the keyboard feels and everything but this G Hub is driving me crazy at the moment and honestly speaking, for how much I spent on this, I expect a lot more from Logitech.😡😡😡

I'm lovin this KB 🤍, switched from GPX KB to G715 red linear and it looks good with my Razer DA V3 Pro White, i still love my GPX Superlight White 🤣. Wish they have black earpads for the G735 😕.

Ordered this yesterday (purely for the aesthetic oops, guilty) and I understand the frustration with the Logitech Community but overall I'm excited for it.

Not that we've noticed. It's been a solid keyboard for us. Still being used as a daily driver.
I want this so so bad! BUT, on the box you show us, the enter buttom is small and flat (square), but when you unbox it, the enter buttom is big and "normal"? I really want the big one, and I find it hard to figure out how to get the big enter buttom! :( How did you do?

you can buy any of the colored keyboards and the keyboard its self has swappable front plates that they sell many colors of on their website, and the plates are easy to remove and replace, I know its a late comment but hope it helps.@@akhileshshivade562

I’ve used the G915 before but I don’t have it on me right now to compare unfortunately. My gut feeling is there isn’t much different between the two.

Not tested but taking a cap off, pretty generic so I don’t see why you couldn’t.

I’m no esports gamer but I’ve not noticed any lag or response issues with wireless.
Just bought this keyboard. The lighting effect keeps changing back to default after 1 minute of idle time. This is seriously annoying

The lighting looks rather poor on the lower half of the key if you don't have the US version.

How is the battery life if we turn off all the RGBs?
Better but not drastically. The battery life generally is rather good and for me, I’m happy to enjoy the rgb and charge it up once a week.

Pretty good! Say working from home one day a week (8hrs) plus a 2-3hrs each day for gaming, maybe charge it up every two weeks? Maybe 10 days.

The only NEGATIVE i can find is: It is one of those keyboards where you really want to have a wrist pad. BUT there is no option for a non-ridiculous-looking one. And even the ridiculous-cloudy one is not magnetic. not magnetic! wow. if there was a magnetic one sold separately i'd buy it for sure.
I agree, it does need a wrist rest and I’m still using the cloud one (I secretly like it). Other wrist rests do fit nicely against the KB, no problems. No magnetic though 😏

It might be a location/availability thing. Logitech have confirmed to me three options, clicky/tactile/linear unless they've changed their minds.

Still a no-no for me. I've had enough from them and I won't come back. What I've seen as an improve is they've ditched their bizarre layout, using USB-C and... i guess that's it. Not convincing at all.

Absolute garbage is it. Have had 2 now and they both don't work with their g0hub software. Not on pc, not on mac. See more people on reddit with these keyboards with similar complaints.

I bought this keyboard and it came with a little attachment that has female on both sides, USB and type C. Can anybody explain what this is for?
It's probably to join cables together, incase the one provided isnt long enough? I've personally not had to use it, it's just been in the box since day one.
