    @R2Manny@R2MannyАй бұрын
    • It most definetly isn't. The colour images and videos are very nice indeed, but the documentary itself is extremely biased. It pushes the old narrative written or otherwise expressed by German generals after the war, such as Manstein, Guderian, Halder, Galland, among other less prominent Generals.

    • For cold war documentaries, the absolute best series is CNN Cold War. I know it says "CNN" on the title, but this was produced in the early 90's. It's a mega unbiased documentary series. They always interviewed people from both sides, regardless of the topic, presented the facts, again, from both sides, and made YOU decide who was right and who was wrong.

  • This is one of the best documentary series I've ever seen - it was on Netflix and I watched it many, many times. I wish they hadn't removed it. I randomly found it here - yes! It's fairly concise, hits every major factor in the war (excepting maybe the war in Burma), and provides anyone who watches it with a strong knowledge of WWII.

Being objective is a big deal, and watching anything nowadays makes me long for the days when facts and objectivity mattered, and people didn’t force their current politics into everything they make.

  • Rather than its wonderful colorful show and limited introduction of selective events. Not all events occurred in the introduction between two world wars revealed ⁉️,it was a cold war in silence ( 1920-1939) .western hemisphere silently backed Japan aggressions against red USSR. Britain & France encouraged spying & exporting rebellions by Balkan & eastern Europe countries against Germany in the west and USSR in the East. Britain participated in the Ethiopian-Italian war beside Ethiopian efforts. Britain imposed economic & commercial sanctions against fascism Italy 🇮🇹 before Italian inventions of Ethiopia 🇪🇹.
