UNSC: let’s send in genetically enhanced humans with the best armor and the best weapons. Covenant: let’s send in the elites, not with our highly advance weapons and gear. Let’s send them with spears and send them 20 at a time
Blur did not do the elites justice in HW1.
@@punctuationman334 they were honor guard for the prophet of regret they only have spears
@@Lunarice98 And no shields apparently
@@GeorgeThoughts HW 1 take times long before Halo CE so maybe they didn't at that time or it was just for the feels but the honor guards you fight in Halo 2 they all have shields
@@GeorgeThoughts With them having the Mk IV armor, Red Team canonically doesn't/shouldn't have shields either (that was only incorporated in the Mk V.
It's even crazier when you remember that the members of Red Team are canonically only 19 years old during the events of Halo Wars 1 (and about the same in HW2, due to cryosleep). It gives you an idea of how "built for war" Spartans are.
umbrellashotgunman Damn that's right...and through all of this, chief has been fighting the war. I wonder how they'll react when they see blue team and the master chief again and how he became basically the savior of humanity while they were sleeping.

umbrellashotgunman amazing also how john was 14 during forward onto dawn
Kairasu he was 15, lol not being mean just putting it out there :)
Oh
I love how the HW's Spartans look like the Space Marines of the Halo universe. They're bigger, more armored, and more intimidating, just like a super soldier should be.
Commander Jerome-092 Kinda agree. Spartan armor needs more bulk to it. Halo 4 and 5 did this but ruined too much about the artstyle.
Well technically don’t they have the old Mark I armor? Since they’ve been lost in space for 20 years or more
It's kinda how Halo itself was meant to be a strategy game in its inception and what now are SPARTANs were just supposed to be ordinary marines, but with bulkier armour called Heavy Troopers
@@5hockeyman14 The armor they use here is Mark 4,and is definitely more bulky. Reach and CE used Mark 5 armor, and Halo 2-3 used Mark 6,and halo 4-5 used a modified Mark 6(at least for Chief),the other spartans using GEN 2 MJOLNIR Armor, while the others were GEN 1 MJOLNIR. and now in Infinite Chief uses GEN 3 MJOLNIR. A Mark 7 for GEN 1 was being tested as well. It should also be noted that Mark 4 MJOLNIR did not have shields in canon, but they added them in for gameplay purposes. It's pretty impressive that these Spartans can do what they do with outdated and pretty much obsolete technology.
And how the hell did Jerome did not get the hiper leathal rating like chief and six he was better than both with mark 4 armor to
2:35 I love this exchange. Both men are willing to stay but when Sgt Forge makes the call there’s no drama, just agreement and respect
At that moment Jerome still was a "robot" thinking human, in fact he saw the rescue of Anders as a waste of time yet the time with Forge and Cutter made them appreciate the bonds and friendship between the crew, that's what I call character development
@@Nick-st4hb Immediately after that cutscene where Jerome advised the Captain to kill Anders, Forge and Jerome had a fist fight that almost broke a bulkhead. They ate together in the mess hall after that.
Thank serina for that she also knew they wouldn't likely return home so she wrote fake letters to the entire crews families
I personally read it as both men being soldiers first and foremost and them both fully knowing and understanding that Spartan's are just simply more important assets against the overwhelming odds against The Covenant. War is after all just a series of purely pragmatic calculations. There is definitely character growth from both sides, but the cold fact is that they both know the value of themselves without having to stroke their ego's.
Huh, I may be wrong, but that Spartan is voiced by the same guy who voices cutter in the second game!

I love how you can hear just how heavy Spartan's really are in these cinematics. From the helmet drop to the footsteps. Gives you an idea on just how big and strong Spartan's really are.
They must've listened to their mom about the broccoli as a kid.
Some people are comparing how when Kat's arm was blown off she didn't shed a tear, but douglas getting crushed screamed in agony. Just so you understand what it must've taken to make a spartan 2 scream, the dude's ribs, shoulder blade, and clavicle were applied so much pressure on they pulverized to fragments that later stabbed his lung and muscles and tissue on god knows how many spots. Also, lets not forget that his metallic suit ended up crushing the near to if not deadly inner wound he already had.
Since his lung was stabbed and probably pierced, the poor guy must've been choking on blood aswell
@@maximeloshaviu1022 not really at best it was dislocated and was a misstep on 343s part. Spartans bones are basically unbreakable and its been proven that a simple brute in lore needs to literally constantly beat Spartans to really apply any damage before the shields even existed. The same oversight for atriox denting and slightly crushing his helmet with one hand. He doesn't have power armor that we know of maybe some augments who really knows. In any case the material used for the spartan armor in real life would be close to unbreakable let alone from bare hands. Simple pure titanium currently is already strong enough to take high powered AP rounds from 50 cal rifles. Id imagine the composite used here is a much higher grade either 38 or 50 similar to the old warships of the unsc hulls and plating. Assuming all real life comparisons. The only reason why plasma worked is because of the high heat capacity of the charged shots which in real life would probably quite easily burn through their armor quite rapidly. To me this was not only oversights but also just to show off atriox as a badass villian. Anyone whos truly intelligent here is probably quite upset like me as atriox even with augments nad power armor shouldn't be able to physically damage the armor without constantly beating it in rage and even still in reality they probably could beat the armor in at all. The lore is a back and forth on that and science has the answer already. They just show off whatever makes something interesting to entice players etc.
@@yulfine1688 Let's just casually glaze over the fact that if you look at 5:14, Atriox very obviously at bare minimum has some kind of power glove, or very possibly just a straight-up cybernetic hand. Which could probably apply the kind of pressure needed to crush Spartan armor. In fact, his right arm looks pretty heavily armored compared to his left; it's entirely possible the entire arm is a prosthetic. @@user-gp7vp9lq7d dude if I saw a Spartan die, while fighting ANYTHING... I'd just high tail it out of there. If a Spartan dies, what's a normal person supposed to do?
Their "immortal" status was used as propaganda during the Human-Covenant war. Not only to keep troops morale up (see H3 Crows Nest intro cutscene for evidence) but to also keep the Covenant scared as a psychological warfare tactic (hence their reputation as Demons). If more Spartans fell like normal soldiers in battle they'd lose that advantage and you'd get more of the Covenant thinking like Atriox instead of running scared.
4:57 It's a small thing, but I love the impact and sound his helmet makes as it falls to the ground. It sounds like a solid piece of metal is hitting the floor, and I just imagine how heavy that thing is and shows how strong Spartans really are.

your daily dose of omid eh, graphically HW1s cutscenes are very good but I don’t like the animation work and the overall direction. The elites were made clumsy, overconfident, sometimes stupid beast that decided to run at Spartans with melee weapons and get taking down easily; reminds me far to much of 343s elites.

Jerome's an extremely well written character despite only being in 2 offshoot Halo games. He was a spartan 2 washout and was rehabilitated to lead red team. He didn't even hesitate in sacrificing himself to set off the spirit of fires slipspace drive, that was the mission objective and he was going to do what needed to be done, no questions asked or hesitation. Honorable mention for Forge too, it was a noble sacrifice to bring us more Jerome.
Honorable mention but Jerome beat back the flood with a chair a fucking Chair

nicholis ling yep
shadowflame141 He's a 3 star spartan
Had a lot of plot armor tho
I see now why chief was called an "aging Spartan." He really isn't as young as he used to be. While Jerome was in cryoslumber for 21 years, those 21 years John spent fighting against the covenant. He spent all those years fighting the flood, the prometheans. I don't know what a Spartan-II in their prime is, but I'd like to say that it's Jerome. He is the example of what made the Spartans so fearful in the war. While I love the chief to my dying breathe, he's not a young man anymore
Reaper He's grown very old over the series and now with the new spartan four program, he doesn't really feel needed which sucks thanks 343
Dope Chief is like 42 years old in halo 5 when you account for cryosleep. That isn't even really old for a normal healthy human, let alone a Spartan.
Tulak Hord chief may be old, but that doesn't stop him kicking the crap out of anyone over and over again, which is the thing about the gen 2 Spartans, they were built to last, that's why there still the best of the best imo
Tulak Hord at 42 chief would be still in his prime
Superman they get stronger with age.
Sargent forge is probably the strongest marine to ever single handly take an arbiter down with the discipline to know how to get the upper hand.
Sargeant Forge is indeed a Spartan 1.5, his father participated in the first project along with Johnson, Forge is a natural born beast and possibly could've be the strongest Spartan IV even matching with MC in fair fight
@@Nick-st4hb no lol he just got lucky killing ripa, he's not that op why the arbiter even died is because his arrogance got the best of him, he literally had the upper hand on forge but he likes to play with his food like the sadistic lizard he is
@@Sierra-058 yeah Ripa let the arrogance drag him but you have to admit that Forge put more resistance than a normal marine, no one without augmentation or good amount of brute strength can even get that close to a Shangellei, let alone, an arbiter
@@Nick-st4hb I think you're overestimating what Arbiters are. They are not the Spartan equivalent in the Covenant. Arbiters are made when an accomplished Elite fails a task so stupendously that they're basically given a death sentence: Serve the covenant until you die. Before the covenant you are correct: The Arbiter prior to the Elites joining was a position of honor given to the mightiest warrior amongst the Elites. But after the Covenant arrived the Prophets made it a mark of shame and a death sentence. So Ripa isn't any stronger than a normal elite because he's the arbiter. However, I do agree with you that Forge is stronger than an average marine for the same reason: Elites are naturally stronger than humans on a 1:1 comparison. You occasionally get one-offs where the strongest humans can compete with the weakest elites but that's never shown. You usually end up with situations like this: where a middle-ground elite is put up against an above-average human and it comes out evenly, or in the human's favor because Elites are trained to be rigid and disciplined, where humans are instead adaptable and cunning. What we lack in raw power we make up for in ways to workaround that lack of brute force. Elites don't think that way, they just do what they need to do. This is exemplified in the fight between Forge and Ripa. Ripa's honor dictate that he allow his foe's last wish, so he picked up Forge and looked him in the eyes as he told him "My face will be the last thing your pathetic eyes ever see". But Forge used that as an opportunity to get that fatal knife stab in. Where if that had been an Elite vs an Elite the one replacing Forge would've likely just accepted the defeat and died "with honor". And on the reverse if that had been Human vs Human the one replacing Ripa would've likely just run Forge through and been done with it instead of risking the chance for any last ditch efforts to ruin it.
Jerome looks like a martial artist of the Spartans in combat that spinning elbow to the brute, the left/right hook bouncing an elite of the wall and the huge shoulder barge to the elite that grabs his gun crazy also the fact that he's willing and confident to cqc brutes in that fashion says alot about Jerome!
12:37 That Sangheili actually flinching from Atriox was a good touch. It takes a lot to intimidate an Elite.
Mik Moen Takes even more to intimidate a Jiralhanae (Brute)
I just noticed that. Blur does a really good job of adding subtle things to enhance the cutscenes, like that Elite flinching and 343 Guilty Spark rolling his eyes in the ending cutscene of Oracle from Halo 2 Anniversary!
Bye a lot do you mean a brute that can kick the asses of thee Spartans at once and forceing them to retreat

For a spartan to scream in pain is some serious pressure that Atriox applied to the Spartans shoulder. If you read the Fall of Reach you would know that some spartans towards the end of the fight (when they were underground in a cavern) fought with internal bleeds, spleens and livers fractured (basically just lots of cuts from pressure) broken skulls and bones and legs without wincing. All I can assume is this was not just a break of the Shoulder, but every bone possibly shattered into dust, exploding outward and inward, shredding muscle. That I assume mustve caused them to scream in pain. Just goes to show how badass Atriox is. (I do realise it was with his ultra mega doom power fist thing that he has too though, but still)
Cameron Wilson Well, that might not be the case. It can be the book overexaggerating a Spartan's ability, or the devs making him a little more human/something
spartan II's bones are virtually unbreakable. his shoulder was most likely dislocated
I did read on the wiki with the Ossification of bones as one of their enhancements but you must look at it from the angle of Atriox's gauntlet and the way the Spartan around. He is placing pressure over the whole shoulder, clavicle (collar bone) and humerus bone. I disagree with dislocation as I doubt that would constitute enough pain in a super soldier to jerk back and scream. I would look at further the strength of Brutes in the books (as well as Tartarus and Maccabaeus in the books). In one of the books I believe it tackles Spartan Grace and beats her up to near death after taking more than enough bullets from the teams MA5B rifles to down an Elite and still had enough rage in it to go after john (correct me if I'm wrong in order of events). I think he suffocates it even after it overpowered him, then Grace blows herself up to kill other forces. Not only that the Brutes have skills thick enough to stop a Sniper Rifle round and continue moving.(on the wiki) plus those snipers I think in the believe ad series for Halo r stated they could go three 3 or 5 feet of steel and concrete. Further I add to my case that look how hard Tartarus was to kill in Halo 2, even on Normal difficulty. Further I believe Maccabaeus fights Tartarus with two broken legs with splints on them and almost kills him. Combine this strength, with a great warrior of inhuman strength with a power fist? I believe he still shattered those bones, hence a scream we've never seen associated with Spartans, as they've never felt such pain.
Cameron Wilson everything that you stated about the lore is correct from what I know. But Im pretty sure that its stated that game mechanics isn't really canon or go with the lore (about the tartarus thing on normal and how your able to take his shields down with just two shots of a particle beam rifle) but you do have a point. One thing that sorta confuses me is how he can break Douglas's almost unbreakable bones through his armor but then atriox only squishes his helmet and dents it when he picked it up off the ground? I guess atriox probably could have crushed the whole thing if he wanted to or even kill red team singlehandedly.
It's worth noting that it takes an obscene amount of force to break a Spartan's bone. They're not as 'virtually unbreakable'. Proportionally, it'd require a Scarab stepping its leg solely on the Spartan's bone to shatter it. It's probably just a dislocated shoulder or something.
I find it hilarious how one brute fighting three Spartan IIs is more convincing than Locke taking on Chief.
13:09 Loved that battle cutscene. Makes halo look so gritty for combat.

Though impossible to chart accurately, it is estimated to be twenty milliseconds meaning their reaction time are so fast they are able to see a moving bullet fired from a gun and dodge it if fired at a fair distance. I didn't know Asaaj Ventress became a Spartan
Those are true life goals: First become Count Dooku's apprentice, then become a badass Super Soldier.
LFCATFE bruh I knew her voice sounded so familiar but I didn't know why
LFCATFE I think she also does the female pilots in halo 1,2, and 3
*That's* where I recognized the voice from!
LFCATFE from star wars
Jerome and Isabel = Dreamteam Just like Master Chief and Cortana a loooong time ago...
Der Kaylon not true chief would probably kick there ass. Yes chief would be tired out from it
Kevin Zhang Chief is in his 40s and his armor is more advanced
Darth Vader I thought Chief was 60.
Mr. Cuddlesworth nah he’s more like 42. Plus Spartans don’t age like we do. Johnson was 78 when he died and look how young he was
Isabel lacks the focus of cortana at an annoying level, cortana would be acting with no doubt on that difficult situation (still 343 bullsht since that digital 'performance' should not to be visible outside hologram representations) not to mention that jump, were instead of foresee his intentions to jump and start making calculations to help him, she starts to fking yell
The fact that they can make cutscenes like this, and they had remade all the cutscenes as beautifully as they did for halo 2 anniversary, just goes to show that if they really wanted they could make a movie. I can appreciate how they keep making games over just blasting out media like other franchises have. But at the same time I’d pay to see a whole animated movie like halo wars 2, without the breaks for gameplay lol
Jerome and the rest of red team are statistically the most lethal human military entity out there as of 2558; they're II's who aren't even at their peak yet because of cryo - chief and blue team are nearly 50. What's more, they destroyed all those covenant soldiers using Mark IV, which had no energy shields and was just worse all round. Jerome alone managed to clear the area around the grav lift twice seemingly without taking a hit - Douglas and Alice also wrecked those elites in HW1. If they're in Infinite then i think they'll outshine the chief not necessarily in combat experience (because they missed out on the best bits of the war) but just in physical condition etc. Jerome particularly i can see going toe-toe with Atriox.
Spartan-092 and Isabel are like the next Spartan-117 and Cortana.
Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku I kind of think Jerome is my new favorite Spartan over Master Chief.
Itsy Ender Gaming // Itsy_EnderG My favorite Spartan is Kurt-051.
Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku every dog has his day...Michelle Rodriguez from halo 2 got a gig a a Spartan so Thats cool at least
So is Alice and Douglas MIA?
Qrow Branwen Nope they're still alive and kicking.
Thats badass... unlike Osiris.
True
Except Buck, he's the only badass in Osiris
ODST ftw
Atleast Fireteam Osiris actually fought in the war. Red Team said "fuk this, I'm going to sleep."
It was more of a: "Fuck waiting 20+ years to get back to UNSC space let's go to sleep"
Love how the arbiter says “weak and undisciplined” only to cut to Spartans, the strongest and most disciplined force around
You’re not a full fledged Spartan unless you’ve jumped unprotected from orbit lol
Forge, the only real soldier who knew what was coming and gave his life to save a spartan. He didnt envy them, but he treated them like one of them
I said it once, but i feel its worth saying it again Halo 5: Guardians: Lets make Locke and his team look like badasses (excluding Buck cuz he was already a badass before locke even came in) Halo Wars 2: Fuck locke and his team, lets give the Spartan IIs their badassery back.
As it’s always meant to be. Also bring back some Spartan IIs!
What made the Red Team more badass is that they were using old Spartan armor back many years ago, not unlike Fireteam Osiris who has fancy new tech and armor
Man, I so miss the good old Halo days, when cutscenes and live action trailers had amazing writing and made you feel exactly what was neccessary to convey the atmosphere. With Halo 5 especially, this was totally lost and that’s really sad to me💔
Can anyone imagine Halo 6's 4 player co-op. We have Chief from Blue team. Locke from osirus. Jerome from Red team. And if we had playable elites(Aribter) that would be amazing!
GoldenGibus That is my hope. Chief, Jerome, Arbiter, and Locke. The only problem is, Jerome only has Mark IV, which doesn't have any shields. That could be a problem for gameplay
Emmet B they had shields but weaker variants of it. Plus, they upgraded chief, why cant they upgrade red team?
Cubansoilder96 ask yourself. do you really want their design to be ruined?
want whose design to be ruined?
Jerome's classic MK IV armor with the red stripes.
Jerome is the man him and chief team up halo 6
Red and Blue team need to team up. Has to happen. So much potential!
Jaron Ehlers yes and Blue team, red team, Osiris and arbiter against cortana halo 6 comfired
fuck Osiris
Ariel Rodríguez yeah but it would 99% happen
Jerome, Chief, Arbiter, Locke and Buck = TEAM INVINCIBLE
I'd like to point out that These Spartans are Spartan II's. From the same batch the Chief himself came from. Although they're in a different Team (John was the leader of Blue Team) They still knew him pretty well, and trained with the guy
Jerome actually makes mention of that in hw2
Chief, Jerome and Noble 6 are my favourite Halo Spartans.
Jerome: Alice! Douglas! Killcounts? Alice: 240! Douglas: 241! Jerome: I myself am sitting pretty on 242! Forge: Well I killed an Arbiter! Douglas: Shit.... Alice: Damn.... Jerome: It still only counts as one!
Chief: well I killed the entire god dam covenant and a shit load of flood with a forerunner on the side Everyone else in the halo franchise: show off
@@anidiot2284 Forerunners: We killed every living creature in the galaxy, including ourselves!
CrownedLime747 That the most insane “plasma grenade suicide” if I’ve ever heard
@@swivelshivel6576 At least it worked.
Marvin Mabuto : hold my beer

lololol so subtle too

“Bye-bye, dead body.”
Bye , have great time
I really would like to play as Red Team in a Halo FPS...
Those marines that stood in front of that scorpion tank when it dropped and that kept shooting must’ve had balls of steel
I want more Jerome for god sake he has to be in Halo 6 please be in halo 6!
We really need a FPS spin off game as a pallet cleanser for Halo 6, especially after Halo 5. It would be great to have a game with Jerome and Isabel going behind enemy lines, perhaps to recover a piece of Forerunner tech that would help the SoF.
teddybeddy123 or just reboot halo 4 and 5 and have the banished instead of the retarded "storm" remnant faction
I wish Halo 4 and 5 didn't happen but they did and we are where we are unfortunately.
teddybeddy123 there's still a bunch of plot holes in halo 4 such as how did master chiefs armor change all the sudden...
You're preaching to the choir, I just want 343 to make the Halo game Bungie would have made.
teddybeddy123 yea I get but what you mean but hopefully halo repeats the Star Wars prequel trilogy and have 2 bad games but 1 amazing game
''Yeah, suck it Blue!!!'' -Red Team.
The moment I first saw Isabel and Jerome on the Enduring Conviction I knew I wanted a game where they are the main characters.
Now I want more cameos of Jerome and Isabel...
Definitely the new Chief/Cortana duo
I don't know if that was intentional or accidental, but, they definitely struck a cord with Jerome/Isabel. Perhaps it's the nostalgia of the old Halo with a Spartan 2 (I think it's 2 or 3 I cant remember) and his AI but... it definitely struck a cord. So much so that considering how they've effectively destroyed Cortana's character rebooting the series with Jerome and Isabel would likely be the next best thing. Besides, I was surprised at how much the two characters seemed to mesh so well together. While I loved Master Chief, if his story is played out I could see these two taking up the series at this point and carrying it forward... that's just how impressive the scene was between the two of them. Definitely a true Halo throwback that was just so refreshing to see.
Spartan II since IIIs were sent on suicidal missions
@@lonewolfx7552 not all spartans, mostly Headhunter and Hyperlethal classes
Love this take, couldn't agree more.
Ooh something I also wanted to add but forgot, when Jerome jumps out of the ship with Isabel it made me think of the Halo 2 scene when chief gives the covenant back their bomb. Cortana is unphased, since the events of halo ce she must be used to it by that point, cool to see how an AI like Isabel reacts to seeing a Spartan II kicking ass for the first time
My man Douglas fought Atriox with a knife while wearing a Mark IV armor, got his arm broke and still has enough energy to get up again only to be hit by an enhanced gravity hammer and yet he survived. What a legend.
The production quality is so good that all of these scenes look live action.
Emerald Miner 299 because of blurr
doesnt that armor weigh like 420,069 metric megafucktons
alex wilson accurate
like 1 Ton, yep
alex wilson Spartan Armour Weighs A Ton Mate..... Where'd You Get That Number From?!
I'm pretty sure in the book "The Fall of Reach" it says the armor is half a ton. 1000 pounds is still quite a lot though
shadowflame141 Well... In Canon It's 1 Ton M8
Forge is best Marine, right after Johnson. RIP.
Golden Queen both of some of my favs 😭 they all die a badass die
Send me out with a bang
Forge died first, so technically in actual halo timeline, Johnson was after Forge
@@acez9728 Johnson was the first marine to make contact with the covenant. So Forge still comes behind him. Johnson was legendary
@@acez9728 By then Johnson was over 50 years old while Forge was just 30.
Much better than the tv show.
The Spirit of Fire and her crew give me the same vibes as that of the Pillar of Autumn and her crew. Anyone who loved the first Halo should love these 2 games. -Red Team: All the Spartans are great, obviously Jerome-092 is very similar to John-117. Serena: was great. Isabel: with a bit more story can be like Cortana, they need to use her experience with the Banished to drive her character. Captain James Cutter: is a lot like Captain Keys in the sense of never giving up in the face of impossible odds and will fight until he can't fight anymore John Forge: was like Johnson, not a Spartan but still bad-ass in his own way and gave his life in that of a Spartan, knowing that the Spartan was a greater asset to humanity. Ellen Anders: While Dr. Halsey was not on the Pillar of Autumn, Ellen and her share a lot of the same characteristics and personality features.
A halo game isn't a halo game without a Spartan falling.
Kyon a halo game isn’t a halo game without a spartan doing their duty
@@TurtleBot354 halo 3 odst was pretty good though
Am i the only one that thinks Isabelle the A.I. looks like a hardcore lesbian?
Shirley Bertrand so did halo ce cortana
100 percent
No
@@joshuamckay9561 Eh, even CE Cortana pulled off the short hair MUCH better than Isabel.
And feminazi
This goes to show how powerful atriox really is. Red team are all Spartan IIs like chief. Just as strong and capable in battle. The fact he defeated 3 of them at once is why he made chief look like a toy in infinite
Nothing will ever be funnier to me than the one spartan casually tossing the arbiters body over the edge
12:15, the spartans learning from noble 6 are they now?
i wonder how jerome land after freefalling from that ship?
Nezt Tele the same way Chief did at the start of Halo 3 and Halo 4
Hard
Have you seen cutscene from halo 4? Were you could se spartan IIs deploying like odst? Red team still has that armor so he has built in jetpack/thrusters
Noble team, please... Spartan II's invented that shit dude, they did it way back before Noble team even existed. They can survive an orbital jump with little to no injury, thanks to their Armor and genetic superiority. And these Spartans have old Armor, there are no thrusters. Thrusters only help in Zero-G btw.
If 343 kills off Chief, i wouldn't mind if the story continued by following Jerome and Isabell.
Dude you're forgetting one thing: The Master Chief IS Halo and if they kill him off just like that for some stupid reason I give up on their shitty company as a whole. They made Chief look stupid during his fight with Locke which he should have won with more ease and not so much of a struggle though it would be fine for Locke to throw in some lucky punches but I guess they tried to shove this character in our face and emphasize that this guy is like the 117 of spartan 4's and due to his years of combat experience Chief would have love handled him and the reason he is so slow is because of 343 even though he has the body of a 30 year old I understand that he is old but not too old to be still kicking ass. We have seen Chiefs story from the beginning. Killing him off would be a terrible thing to do.
True but at some point they're just gonna be milking the series, it'll become stale and predictable. At someone point he has to die. Hopefully not soon but we'd be stupid to say he should be immortal. If they do however, Jerome and Isabell are like a no-brainer replacement. Perhaps they should make us wait for the next major installment. like what happened between 3 and 4. Showing off different characters, and perspective in the Halo universe (i.e. ODST and Reach).
Why do they have to kill him? He can go into retirement or something. Or more cryosleep, and they make a game with Jerome while he’s sleeping. They don’t necessarily have yo kill him
Mathew R Or we can have Oni fuck something up and betray the swords of sanghelios (which they already tried to do) and have Chief die via Arbiter, but that story will be pretty bad
How dare u
1:51 lord incel taunts sgt chadforge
I still can't believe how good halo wars cutscenes look
Jerome should be classified hyper lethal like six and chief like if you agree
Jonathan Chapman he probably would of been if the SOF didn't get cruise about 1kmh through the heavens if you read tales of slipspace even Serena knows his skill when a flood break out happened she only woke him and he wrecked them
@@arnold6782 she woke him and Anders up. She also saw how skilled that Spartan was.
@@acoggaming2667 I know that I was only referring to the comment about Jerome
They hyper lethal thing was just a marketing term for halo reach. 6 and chief are good but not better than all they other spartans.
CAMRO well master chief definitely is. He’s referred to as the spartan however I’d say 6 is top 5 Spartans ever due to his background and hyper lethal status
That Jerome and Isabel duo feels like the old John and Cortana duo! you now when the Spartan was the quiet bad ass kicking everyone ass and Cortana the human like but intelligent side chick! Halo wars 2 Story is 100 times better than Halo 4 and 5
Thank 343
EdgarFitJ ya but still a let down
EdgarFitJ Agreed... It's Good That 343 Finally Made Halo Good Again.. ( If They Keep This Up And Bring The Bankshed And Stuff Into Halo 6! ) Maybe They Should Let You Play As Red Team From A 1st Person Perspective To Feel What It's Like To Be With Them...
Banished*
Spartan Jerome-092 That would ruin what the series would be about, halo wars has always been about that red team. Halo the regular series has mostly always been about chief and now his team. After the events of halo 5 the covenant is falling apart and I imagine the main enemy will still be the forerunners
That first cutscene... damn, i wish future generations have as awesome cutscenes as that!
It’s absolutely hilarious that all of this cgi, from 2008, is better than the cgi in the halo show that just got made
I think this is the remaster, but it's pretty similar
This is what I want from Spartans not the halo 5 bullshit we've been getting, pure badass were it's almost all the skill not the enhancements (obviously Spartan strength and armour but no jumping round the place and ground pounds and other bs)
Wait so if Red team here is doing all the cool stuff.......then where is Blue team because it's hard to decide who wins this fight of Reds vs Blues
Jason_Hunter blue team is master chief team
Epic Office nuff said
Was that a Red vs Blue reference?
yep still hard to decide
but this was befor chief landed on the arc in halo 3, but even so who's the red team in halo 5
respect for that 1st gen spartan.
How badass is that Jerome has the legendary symbol in his left arm 2:51
How come Halo 5 was so shit compare to this story?
Toph Beifong Because Halo 5 was rushed.
Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku 343 but halo wars 2 just set up halo 6 and Grey team are comfirmed alive and Red team most likely be in halo 6 in cutscenses maybe Jerome will be playable 092 But John 117, Jerome 092 and jai 006 trio hopefully;)
Mandy red team and blue team will be playable
13:09 was a sick tactical cut scene
KZhead recommending this after to years. Well it brings back memory’s I haven’t played any halo for way to long
Jerome is one of the only Spartans who can give Chief a run for his money.
Jack Turner and noble six
I want a Halo game with a massive campaign that lets us cover 3 stories of Blue team, Red team, and Gray team
Arbiter spewing evil guy monologue before killing the hero. Dies. Forge taunts Arbiter in the face of death. Lives.
I just love the cutscenes of halo wars it shows how badass the unsc are even tho at times get destroyed but the whole science when the hogs just slide up into a sweet fitting pos and the tank being dropped by pelican shows that business mean no bullshit fuckin around and Jerome just climbing out of a hog to view the battle field is sick
