  • His fight IQ, reaction time, footwork, angles is second to none. And he only has 8 professional fights! No doubt in my mind he will go down as one of the greatest.

    • Jacob Allen And the loss was completely unfair, lomachenko won that fight clearly and the opponent did several low blows in one round and wasn't disqualified, and he still won the fight. However Lomachenko after the defeat didn't make excuses but rather blamed himself and then came back and avenged it twice.

    • I don't think you have to say 'white hope' anymore lol. Three of the pound for pound fighters in the world happen to be white, and are Russian or Ukrainian, still, same region, you know what I mean, and I believe they all have the same manager. Kovalev, up until the Ward loss, was considered the most feared fighter on the planet, and still should be, the rematch will tell a lot about how he learned from the first fight.

    • Caesar Kakutougi is the 3rd guy named ggg? Loma barely on his second weight class and his considered a p4p lol mayweather went 5 classes and was consider a cherry picker when he fought the most world champions ever.. ward has fought in 2 divisions he went up fought a legit the monster at 175 yet his not considered the best P4P he has a way better resume than loma.. Crawford is just as technical as loma yet hes not receiving the same credit

    • I agree with you wholeheartedly, you're misunderstanding my previous post, I don't believe you can say 'white hope' nowadays, the race issue in boxing is meaningless now, HBO has kind of flipped it's lid for these 'white European boxers',...all the while discrediting or mismanaging fighters like Rigo or Ward,...it is what it is, calm down.

    • It's not his movement knocking people out, though. The way he throws his punches is the next level of what boxing/striking will become. The ways in which he switches up his rhythm, and better yet, maintains it, while hitting you with "off rhythm" shots is what makes him so incredibly dangerous, offensively. Not knowing from where a punch is coming is one thing, but also not knowing how hard or fast is a whole new level. I could go on and on.

  • I'm kinda late to jump on the bandwagon but after his last fight I'm his newest fan. When I was a young dude I used to say if I was a boxer I would want to fight like Tyson. In 2016, I say that if I was a boxer I would want to fight like Vasyl.

Not knowing from where a punch is coming is one thing, but also not knowing how hard or fast it will be is a whole new level. You get used to 30%, then he cranks it to 70% for a minute, then drops it to 40%, and then destroys you with some 100% shit you didn't even know he had. I could go on and on.

  • How any person could dislike this video is absolutely beyond me. Great montage depicting his incredible footwork and combination punching. Don't hold the Salido fight against this guy... he fought a "crafty" (kind way of saying dirty) veteran for a belt in his SECOND pro fight. He has looked spectacular since...coming off a flawless performance against Walters and giving rise to a modern day "No Mas." There are some really great fighters out there today that are separating themselves from others in their division, but no one has my attention like Loma does.
