Canelo is great with counter, and his dodges are on point but he gets tired quick. Triple G on the other hand has Stamina for days, he will go 15 rounds non stop, Love to see these talented fight together in the ring.

Flashy, powder puff shots will not help him close the distance between him and Khan, his trainer should really incorporate more movement into the mitt and power pad work. He doesn't commit to his shots either, which isn't bad all the time because it helps you with speed, but it makes his shots a lot less powerful and impactful. That's a huge part of why he didn't KO Cotto.

well the biggest reasons are the wrong game plans. also as shown in history corrupt judges. but the mayweather blue print is not about slipping ducking or dodging, how mayweather won was because he was the quicker counter puncher and established dominance and imposed his will at times. He did not let the judges think he was just defense only and scared. Mayweather had ring generalship and controlled the fight., Lara ran around too much which was a big mistake

I see some inconsistencies but only true true fans of the sport can see them and im not a khan fan but virgil hunter is doing a great job with khan this camp teaching him some andre ward type game.. im not saying khan will win by any means but i wouldnt sleep on him because he has a great trainer backing him who knows what it takes to beat a guy like canelo but its up to khan and his chin to deliver.. looking foward to this fight

+EncoreUnoTv have to agree with you here. however khan hasn't look spectacular either in his recent sessions, he might be playing possum to lure canelo into a false sense of security. canelo is still young (only 25), but he has improved vastly since his loss to Mayweather. stamina is still a bit of an issue for him but he is a willing student of the sport and is willing to listen and take advice. I still think he will beat khan, a big part of the match up is how khan will take his pinches and if he makes the same mistake he made against Danny Garcia. he was schooling Danny until he got caught, for some reason felt he needed to prove to Garcia that he was every bit as macho as him and decided to trade. if he can remain calm if and when he gets caught when a solid punch and stick to his game plan it will force canelo to take the fight to khan with could make it interesting. still I got canelo by T.K.O in the 9th. khan has proven to have grit and heart. people forget canelo isn't a k.o artist and doesn't have one punch k.o power he just hits really hard. guys with one punch k.o power don't come around very often. ggg and Keith Thurman are the only one I consider to have that type of power.

Arturo Jr. Valle well canelo is a real 154 guy but he wont fight any top 154 fighter, and obviously he isnt going near a top160 fighter either, so since spence is a top 147 guy its exactly the kind of fight canelo likes, i love canelo, really i do, but he needs to get back to the fights like trout and lara, those were real 154 fights, i get every fight cant bbe a top guy but cotto is no 160 barely a small 154 lb as trout proved, cotto couldnt move top guys at 54,then kirkland who def seemed a shade of his former self, and now khan? ok ill even give him that pass but he needs to face a top 54 guy or top 60 guy in his next fight or its just becoming insane, seriously if he even entertains the idea of fighting manny a 37 yr old former flyweight then he needs to give up the belt and admit what the deal is, there are so many great fights for canelo at 54, charlos, julian williams, lara rematch, martiroysian, or even trout rematch,

Definitely can counter punch, has a decent chin, and has power. But he needs to work on footwork if he wants to beat guys like GGG. If he isn't able to get away from Golovkin and create angles (easier said than done, I know), he is a sitting duck, because GGG has more power and a bit better chin. However, one good punch from Canelo (lucky or not) and GGG could go down. You never know. There have been bigger upsets before.
What do you base that on? that ggg has more power? canelo is on another level from the opposition ggg has faced, I say if canelo faced all the same guys ggg has faced he would knock them all out as well I like ggg but people over rate him.
BoxingisLyfe Who has Canelo faced? 1) Dominated by Floyd. 2) Beat an old, small Cotto. 3) Barely beat Lara. 4) Beat a really slow, old Shane Mosley. Nobody else on his resume is anything more than say, a David Lemieux. Golovkin has a slightly better chin and more power. He also has much better defense and footwork. So yeah, 90% of boxing experts would have GGG in that fight right now.

I love the Khanelo fight but there is just no way Khan will be able to go the distance. Every time he gets hit, even barely... Khan feels like he has to prove something and has to throw 3-4 punches back and opens himself up to all sorts of angles leaving himself vulnerable... Gonna be bad when he gets caught - backed up on the ropes to survive a Canelo onslaught of punches. Khan being stubborn is what killed him in all of his fights. Just like in the Maidana fight, where yes - granted he won the fight, BUT he took some punishment from maidana and instead of just taking a knee and clearing his head, he just gets walloped in the face to prove to everyone he can take it... like... fucking why? I love Khan but godamn he is his own worst enemy.
