  • There is not one episode you've ever put out that I didn't love, but this series has to be hands down one of the best tutorials I have ever watched. Love your style, love your colors, but I confess you had me at the first episode I ever watched of you because of your accent! Love all your tutorials, keep them coming!

  • I absolutely love this journal. When I was watching part 7 I was thinking 'why didn't she just add blue paint to the gesso'. Looks so much lovelier with the blue. You are so creative. I love how you experimented with the stencils and showed us the fails also in them and others through out the journal. Absolutely Gorgeous!!! Thank you for going through this book with us step-by-step. Last night I started tearing apart a book that had signatures actually sewn in and can see why you say to use glued in pages. I will continue with it as a practice run and use (washi) tape f (and glue?) on any pages that might want to come out. ☺♥

I was pleased you put the word at the top of the one tag or journal card, I liked it there best, but I was sure you were going for the bottom. • 18:45 let’s try new things - “even with wet baby wipes” 😂 You are just brilliant!!! I love your passion, your energy, and your creativity. You have so many great ideas. And I love that you’re not afraid to show us when you make mistakes and then how you find ways of fixing it. What I really love is that with you, there’s always a way. Always a way to fix things, always a way to hide a mistake, to turn it into something else, etc. And you are not afraid of change and of trying new things. You often say that it can be stressful and overwhelming, I know, and yet.. you still do try new things. And then if you make a mistake or if you don’t like how the new thing you tried turned out, you just improvise - and then we get something absolutely brilliant, just like this improbable idea with the stencil, the baby wipe and the honey-coloured distress stain! Thank you so very much for sharing your passion. Your energy and joie de vivre, your humbleness and your creativity are awe-inspiring. So, again, thank you, for everything!

  • Dear Barbara, this was a video of an emotional rollercoaster. Just when I yelled "Yayyyy, B. is using another distress ink than vintage photo" you went and covered it with gesso....Noooo, don't do it....Whyyyy? I admit the first outcome was a bit aggressive but you could have used a brush to soften it. So I thought the inner Barbara is resisting to change.....and then....! You used pink with that flower stencil (by the way this was an awesome technique, best discoveries come through accidents) and I said "Yes, hope is not lost". Conclusion: admit it, you are intrigued by change, hahahahahah. Thank you for a wonderful journal journey, I would hoard it too. :-)

  • I have really enjoyed my last several evenings listening and watching all the efforts that has gone in the inspirational journal to completion. I may at some point have to do a short rerun once before beginning my first junk journal. The process I have watched to do there is nothing junk about your stunning the book.

  • That was beautiful when you try to make watercolor and rose stencil. Everytime when I want to give up something I will remember how Barbara tried the same method for 4 times and result was amazing. Sometime you know something but still you need to see that in a little moment. Thanks!

  • Barbara, what a beautiful journal. Love those stickers you used and that rose turned out so pretty. And I think you picked the perfect ribbon to close it. Off subject, I just watched a Hallmark movie, Christmas I’m Vienna. Thought of you the whole movie. It was a good movie and loved seeing some of the city. TFS! ❤️
