People with addictions towards depraved forms of sexual content will go deeper down the rabbit hole just to get their rocks off. Being a predator towards women's privacy wont be enough eventually, so to say.

If this guy is unhinged enough to do this in public, there's no knowing what else he's capable of. But the courage to stop him and stick around to keep him talking until the police arrive is just a real "not all heroes wear capes" moment.

About 5 years later, the creep was sent to jail and fired for the same thing happening. I went to Catholic School. All the sexual harassment that happened to me was while I was in Catholic School. The church is filled with these creeps. I’m not surprised. Can we just start talking about this more and calling out more creeps?

    • No one believing you is crazy

      @spacemcduffy@spacemcduffy28 күн бұрын
    • This is normal in any Christian setting. They never believe you when you call out these losers and then they keep doing it until they get caught red handed, which fucking sucks because so many more kids get hurt for it. And its not even limited to women, the poor young boys who it happens to as well are usually too scared to be judged and never tell anyone as well. Nobody should have to go through this kinda bs, but its just happening more and more as our society ignores it more and more. Churches are by far the worst place because it attracts these creeps and the church usually defends them. "oh he couldnt have done that he couldnt hurt a fly he's a pastor" then you find his pc full of the most deranged shit and him spending life in prison years later. The catholic church in particular defends these losers the most, as they dont want more bad reputation so they sweep it under the rug and hide it or "deal with it privately". More people need to make a big fucking scene about this kinda shit.

  • At my last job, I worked with a guy who filmed other dudes while they were shitting by pointing his phone camera through the gaps in the stall into the adjacent stall. I turned him into HR after I caught him. They did nothing because he cried and denied. Six months later, he finally got fired because someone in a completely different department reported him for doing the same thing. I ended up reporting him to the local police department. Beyond firing, HR did nothing to report the crime. The police did nothing. Before working at my office job, he was a teacher who suddenly left teaching. He was also heavily involved in his church, taught piano lessons to kids, and had an adopted son under the age of 5. A few years later, I found out he was on trial for inappropriate behavior with a student from when he was a teacher. Somehow, the case played out in a way that he walked away free because of the time that had passed and there allegedly not being enough evidence. I'm pretty sure he's still walking free today and likely doing the same shit.

It's only a problem when you've already made your mind up based on previous biases or belief systems and won't change it no matter the evidence. The moment you see someone recording a short interaction in the middle of it it's hard not to question everything because so often they're so out of context or fake. But I don't think it took that long to realize this is real, especially after the police reports which are damning evidence that it wasn't fake at least.

Having to put on shorts defeats those reasons. Now I'm hot, uncomfortable, and I had to pick out two things, eff that!! Being hot makes me nauseated, and I live in a desert so half the year it's hot AF. If someone wants to creep and take an up skirt photo, that's 1000% on them, not on me. That's most likely why he didn't realise she was looking at him, all he saw was a lady staring down at her things. I don't think anyone could move a phone/camera that steadily.
