As an American I’m sorry about the trash drink choices I didn’t even know warhead soda existed

I hate when people misrepresent America . Coke, pepsi ,spite and etc. there are so many drink that’s American , wtf are these

As an American I can say that we don’t drink half of those things. We drink Sprite, Rootbeer, Dr. Pepper, cream soda, orange fanta, coca cola, and others not shown in the video.
they drink that too so it wouldnt be a good video
yea they have all that in UK
I feel like a Canadian person picked those drinks
I don’t think Brits like root beer. It’s a uniquely American taste.
@@woodcider I suspect they have not ever had actual root beer. Most major brands use root beer "flavors" and not a recipe for the real deal. Same with ginger ale ... the real stuff has ginger in it, most big brands do not have real ginger in it at all. Just ginger "flavor".
"I don't know why the americans call it gas, its litteraly a liquid" got me
Fr not knowing gas is just short for gasoline
Well we invented the automobile so we can call it whatever we want. Gas is short for gasoline btw
@@somersthesunless9091germans invented the automobile
Germans invented cars, wtf are you on
@@lourdesrodrigo6374 On January 29, 1886, Carl Benz applied for a patent for his “vehicle powered by a gas engine.” The patent - number 37435 - may be regarded as the birth certificate of the automobile. In July 1886 the newspapers reported on the first public outing of the three-wheeled Benz Patent Motor Car, model no. 1.
Big Red - a classic, old-school American soda, absolutely tastes like medicine - because that's what it is. Soda shops started as a bar in your local pharmacy, and you'd purchase a medical drink. Pepsi is so named because it contained pepsid - a stomach medication. Coca-cola, named for the primary ingredients of Coca leaf and Kola nut, root beer, being a small beer made from various medicinal roots... Yeah, old soda flavors are medicinal in nature. And freaking delicious if you grew up drinking them recreationaly.
Now they are made with nasty chemicals ad Brits can taste them.
Cream soda doesnt taste like medicine. Blasphemy!
Schweppes started as medicine too
41 year old American here. You described Big Red as a classic American drink. I've never heard of it in my life.
I'm a 44 year old American woman and I've never heard of it either. Maybe it's regional. Just looked it up on wiki and it says it's popular in the Southern US.
@@lynntaylor9681After reading both of your comments I can confirm that yes, it is definitely regional. I’m from Texas and Big Red is ubiquitous down here. We even have a Big Red and Barbacoa (type of taco meat) festival (those two items are considered to be complimentary here). For the record I hate it 😂
Big Red is a cream soda originally from Waco Texas. The first flavors are citrus with a smooth vanilla after taste. Almost like an "oaky afterbirth" - sorry had to say it.
I think I’ve seen it sold as a generic in California. Haven’t had it.
Clamato is a classic ingredient in a Bloody Mary cocktail.
Just seeing headmaster Dave, josh, and Ollie dying from laughing brings me so much joy! “What’s a cla” with that confused look 😂
Now that's what JOLLY is! Josh collapsing on the floor laughing is pure gold 😂

@@mn_wild9394right! Besides Dew and AZ tea no one drinks the rest. At least be accurate in making fun of our drink choices!😂
Exactly like who is actually drinking the first one 😭
Ikr? Big red? Who drinks that anymore? It’s not like British food and drinks are any better. A lot of their food is rubbish.
You have to remember the big drink companies like Pepsi coke 7up Dr Pepper already exist in the uk. That’s why they’re finding all these obscure drinks we don’t know about. Pretty sure Mountain Dew tried to get in on the market here but it got banned or something cause of the colourings or something
I’m Mexican-American. Clamato isn’t typically drank by itself. As you mentioned it’s used in cocktails like Michelada’s, and also shrimp cocktail
And south park vampire kids.
In Canada we use Clamato in a Bloody Mary type drink called a Caesar which is super popular here.

As an American, I was intrigued by most of your choices. I have never seen or heard of most of them although I do admit I am a fan of Arizona tea.
they had the worst flavor too, with ginseng. if they had the green tea flavor with honey, their opinion would be vastly different.
This entire sampling was like it intentionally had the worst of the worst. I too had never heard of some and would not want the others. Fanta was the only one I would care to drink and only if cold on ice, but not much of it. Maybe another flavor.

The mistake made on the Arizona Tea was that they sent the boys Green Tea with Ginseng. If it were the Green Tea with honey, it would've played out differently. 😂
I like the Red Apple Arizona iced tea.

More videos with the boys. These are great.
I like how the boys don't learn their lesson. Despite hating every last drink and struggling to finish what they poured, they still pour full glasses of the next drink. 🤣
Been looking for this comment! 😆
Well they're young men what does one expect?
They're british. They'll drink anything
From watching these vids, it seems like the food and drinks in the UK are very bland and very simple because they make some extreme faces and comments from some of the flavors of common drinks.
@@bcrusher1979as someone who has Ben to the UK multiple times, everything I have ate/drank there is definitely relatively bland compared to foods and drink you will find pretty much anywhere else
“I don’t know why Americans call it gas, it’s a liquid” sent me 😂 I’ve never thought of that before haha
To be fair, I've always used "gasoline" and not "gas" as a descriptor for it - which is more accurate, but not accurate still lol
@LordLOC I think we can get away with gas because it DOES become a gas when it gets lit up in your car. It's a bit of a stretch I guess lol
@@jamesedwards147 thats like calling a candle - gas.
Gas is short for gasoline, not the state of matter. That’s what it is, gasoline. They call it petrol. Short for petroleum. But petroleum is crude oil. Would make more sense to call the motor oil ‘petrol’ because it’s significantly less refined than gasoline.
Ironically the term "gasoline" was created in the UK, then brought over to the United States and by the time it was adopted in the United States it was forgotten in favor of "Petrol" in the UK.
This was a great video, I was laughing out loud! So good😂
When he said the warhead soda tasted like heartburn... I felt that.
They picked some really weird choices for this. Our most popular sodas are Mtn Dew, Pepsi/Coke, Dr. Pepper, MUG Rootbeer and Ginger Ale. Edit: apparently you guys have most of these already. Whoops.

That's what I was thinking too.
With the irony being that Arizona tea isn't actually made in Arizona. But, the diet versions of their beverages are just gross. The standard fare Arizona tea (any flavor, really) would be infinitely better.

unfortunately, the Mt Dew is spot on. Here in Kentucky and in West Virginia, they drink so much of it growing up that it rots their teeth- it's even referred to as "Mt Dew Mouth." :( They should have included Dr Pepper though because everyone I know tends to like that one
I just had grape Crush this evening. Pineapple Crush is good too, and Orange Crush is the best of the orange sodas. I rarely drink them though, I'm an RC cola girl. Btw, you shouldn't pull random percentages out of your ass, furthermore all those sodas ARE American.
Thats what i was thinking they literally gave them 1 drink that is normal over here in Mountain Dew. They could have given them DR. Pepper, Sprite, Coke/Pepsi, any of the Orange drinks, Root Beer, Baja blast, or a Cherry cola and they would have been in much better shape lol.
@@Swamp_yakthat’s meth mouth not mt dew mouth..😂
My grandmas most drunken beverage that she always had in her reusable water bottle with a straw was clamato mixed with a can of blue moon beer. I hated the smell of it then but I only smelled it every so often bc of her regular musk of concentrated cigarettes overpowering it. Nice memories.
Original Mountain Dew (1960s) primary ingredients were: Orange Juice and Carbonated Water. Added more caffeine and sugar later.
The reason it points out that it’s made with cane sugar, is because most sodas use high fructose corn syrup instead of real sugar.

“What is a cla?”Possibly the best question of the 21st century. I haven’t laughed this hard in a decade. 😂😂😂😂
Grape-flavored anything in America is based on the Concord Grape, one of the few grape varieties native to the USA. The fresh grapes have a sweet, but tart profile kind of like a sweet wine (and that's before the grapes have been fermented). Most Americans will recognize the familiar taste of Concord Grape jelly from their PB & J's but Concord Grapes apparently taste VERY different from the grapes used in Europe. Also, Mountain Dew was originally created to be mixer for liquor, particularly whiskey and homemade moonshine, it only became popular as a standalone drink later.
Interesting factoid. Yet in Britain it's classified as an energy drink, like Red Bull.
@@user-wl8rr7wb4yExactly. Because of the very high caffeine levels.

I have not heard of half of these drinks. Definitely an interesting roster
The medicine taste from the drinks comes from their history. When soft drinks were first made they were promoted as 'healthy' drinks. Coke had cocaine in it and 7-up had lithium citrate also other drinks had medical ingredients added. Root beer was promoted as an alternative to alcoholic beer. This had both of us laughing so much!

"Made with cane sugar" is a selling phrase because some years ago, cane sugar was replaced in many soda recipes with high fructose corn syrup, which people haven't liked as much (and may be even less healthy).

Fun fact about Mountain Dew, if someone else hasn’t already commented it, it was originally created to be mixed with whiskey to make whiskey taste better.
wait really? that's interesting, I'll have to try that out.

That's why if you look at old ads for Mountain Dew it had a hillbilly with a moonshine jug (mountain dew was slang for moonshine). The original lemon-lime flavor was supposed to make whiskey taste like fine Tennessee moonshine. Not sure the same could be said today since it's more of a mix of orange and lemonade flavor now.

Clamato is not a drink that should ever be drank on its own outside of a Ceasar. For Americans or Brits wondering, its basically a Bloody Mary made with Clamato, but it is x100 times better. Clamato is basically a mixed drink base, and I refuse to believe anyone ever drinks it on it's own. In Canada our bottles of Clamato were literally branded as a Ceasar base and not as a drink. I mean the picture on the bottle you have even shows it as having a garnish on the glass, in Canada our bottles show the glass having a spiced rim and often come in "party packs" with a bottle of vodka too.

We call the octane mixture that powers our combustion engines "gas" because it's short for "gasoline." Gasoline was a term applied to knockoffs of the original patented brand (Casoline) of the mixture. So the word gasoline was derived from the word Casoline, and gas comes from gasoline.
And they have the gall to call gasoline "petrol", which is short for petroleum, which is crude oil. Have fun running your car on that. The arrogance of those people runs deep. Ask them what LPG means.
@theapocalyptist they're kids man chill out 😂
@@theapocalyptist Is it arrogant to call what your eating "chicken" instead of "grilled chicken breast"? It's just shorthand, dude, calm down.
Obviously, you don't understand humour! (correct spelling). He knows where "gas" comes from, but like he said, it's literally a liquid. Pedants, all of you.
Fun fact: the term "Mountain Dew" was originally used to refer to moonshine or homemade whiskey!
Mountain Dew was made to be a mixer for that moonshine.
The song is pretty explicit on this too.
@@PatrickDaviswimiwamwamwazzle Yeah, but I wouldn't expect any given person to recognize the song TBH.
Man I adore the headmaster lmaooo
Big Red is apparently a "classic American soda" in the same way Moxie is.... in like 2-3 states and no one else has ever heard of it.
These kids are just so darn adorable and the principal is hilarious!!! I love these!
Hahaha Im amazed at how funny/witty some of them are!
I just love watching the boys react to things but Dave is something else, he never fails to make laugh or smile. I was nearly like Josh with his reaction 😂
