That Curtis Joseph save is so eye opening to what they let players get away with during the 90's the defenseman never has the puck is skating for a retrieval and gets hit and tripped all at the same time.
As a Pens fan, I just can't believe that they didn't put in The save from 2009 Cup final game 7 even in the second part. Edit: Atlest they fixed the Caps one.
LetMe Carry87 what about fleury vs Ovi in 2009?
It wasn't that great of a save. It just won them the cup. Big difference.
Apparently it was bc it was in the top 50 saves of all time
@@atomic3369 not really. they put it in the top 50 for that reason alone. varlamov on crosby 2009 should be the caps second one. holtby on tuch is obviously the first. that save was the turning point in the series.
I'm not even a pens fan and I still remember watching that one, 11 years later
Rinne's save against the blackhawks in game 3 should've been Nashville's.
The Dubnyk save was the first regular-season game at Little Caesars Arena. Still might be the best save in arena history.
I’d say he Rangers most memorable save was the save in the conference finals that moved them on to the Stanley Cup
that jose theodore save is probably the most insane save i’ve ever seen
Not a goalie, but I've had to be an emergency goalie before since my goaltender and I are both similar size, In my debut I made an incredible paddle save and the feeling when you make a save like this is just an amazing feeling, especially when you're not a goalie and even people from the other team come and congratulate you, might not happen in the NHL like that because you're a seasoned goalie, but in youth hockey it does.
Thank for part to and np on the recommendation for most memorable saves.
Great collection!
As a detroit fan, gotta just love how a third of these clips are against the red wings 🤦♂️
Yup feels bad
👍
Why not fleurys game seven not in the other part either
I know right it's one of the most iconic saves of all time imo. Literally wins Game 7 of the Cup finals. Maybe cause the difficulty wasn't super high but it's still against a HoF defenseman doing everything he could to score in the final second.
Hahah Ryan Miller with 2. I’m a Canucks fan and while that was a crazy save, there were many many others that had a lot more meaning behind them. Kirk McLean save in the playoffs is definitely up there and better then Miller’s imo.
kirk was on the first one. i thought luongo on eager would have been a good choice.
2 times on these list, waiting for the hattrick
Jonathan Quick that save in fleishmann better be on the part 3 kzhead.info/sun/d7qcmbuOkIGQZJE/bejne.html
Watch out for Lunqvist as he has 2
Hašek accepts the challenge.
Carter hart was on part 1 twice and once on part 2. So hes ahead off u
@@bobstones6369 *Hutton
"The Save" as the thumbnail? Better believe it.
7:53 honestly that looked like it was in.
It only looks like it but from the top view you can see the puck in the glove and it never fully crosses the line
lol darren pang goes nuts everytime. I love it.
HOLY JUMPIN'
Two memorable Nashville saves, both from Carter Hutton. + an extra Carter Hutton from another team. He must be the best goalie in the league.
MysticSaxophone He is retired I believe. Also, the knob save from Pekka was better in my opinion.
Connor Welcher Dude he is not retired, he is the nr. 1 goalie of the Buffalo Sabres this upcoming season.
MysticSaxophone Ah ok. I dont really folllow many teams. Thanks
Connor Welcher if your talking about the save that peks made against Chicago in the playoffs then I Completely agree with you. Peks is the best goalie to happen to Nashville and they didn’t put him in either
@@jamesmccarrall4459 Yeah, it's really embarrassing how bad this list is that Carter Hutton has been on it 3 times and some people don't even know who he is. Really? The most memorable save from 2 different franchises belongs to a career backup journeyman? Good call, Sportsnet.
pretty sure the Luongo save was going wide haha
Trent McLeod same with the Ryan Miller one in Vancouver. Lol
If we're being nitpicky, the last Jets' save was by a different franchise than the current Jets.
Guess I’m waiting for part 3 for Martin Jone’s ‘save’ (saves) from Game 5 in 2016
millers save was insane
Waiting for Part 3 if only to include Fluery's last second diving save to win the Cup for Pittsburgh. Also no Vernon for Calgary in either P1 or P2 for his saves in Game 7 OT vs the Canucks in '89? As an Oiler fan, they got both right IMO with Cujo.
probably because those were better saves. brathwaite's was just freaky.
3:08 Jon Gillies literally made the same save and doesn't get praised for it.
Minnesota wild should be Nicklas Bäckströms shootout skate save.
I appreciate that they followed vegas' reason for winning the wcf against winnipeg (fluery defying logic) with vegas' reason for losing the cup final.
Pekka Rinne is still too good to be in this compilation.
Luongos save was gonna miss the net lol
Ich finde das schön das Video finde ich trotzdem sehr schön das Eishockey Video für deine Dennis
steve mason on cbj vs vancouver canucks?????
I know it was dubbed afterwards but the commentary for that Joseph save sounds weird coming from anyone other than Jim Hughson...
9:00 was the craziest catch.
I respect the canucks dive
Really appreciate how they call it "Hasek roll" at Brodeur's save... I mean, you could have make 31 Hasek saves and they will still suprass many of those shown here.
Same with Jonny Quick, Quick and Hasek have made combined for so many highlights.
Whoever made this video is a genius
Ich finde das Eishockey Video sehr wunderschön
Ward's save on Pisani one game later is more memorable
8:00 Niemi made a save? oO
They got roasted so hard on the first part about ”the save” that they had to make a second part
Miller on the list twice
Giggys save against Gaborik in 2003 in western final Mighty Ducks cup final run ....
this video is part 2. why do you suppose that is?
Edmonton should of been the save in overtime game 7 vs Dallas in 1997.
Pretty sure that one was in Part 1.
It was. In Part 1.
amazing how many people don't notice this is part 2.
How does Carter Hutton have three saves on these videos but Mike Richter's save on Bure still can't crack the list? Who's making the list, a 10 year old? Unreal.
This video was only made because they didn't put "The Save" in the last one
true
caron's save is widely seen as one of the best in NHL history.
Kind of weird the Coyotes have two entries on this list
Where is the Winnipeg Jets
last one
@@samchasinpaper1713 that one is not for the current jets franchise. the yotes got a freebie and the jets got shafted.
Nice
Could you like, not spoil half of the entries during the intro? Thanks.
Asa tender ... I don't know how many of those saves I have made over the years!!LOL
I thought the sharks would be Nabokov
If you're talking about the one on Richards against Dallas, that was in Part 1.
Lundqvist spinning save game 6 vs habs? Sent the rangers to the cup? No? Ok
God Bless The NYR that was in part 1
Richter's save not being on either video is a crime against goaltending.
Anaheim and Vancouver are tha same person.
Glen Healy made a save?
9:51 - wrong Jets
You guys had 2 chances at this and couldn’t get it
NYR - no Richter save on Bure penalty shot? Disappointing.
9:33 it had to be that one 😒
They fixed the carolina one
Cam Ward Game 7 of the 2006 finals? No?
um...that one IS in this video.
Flower getting robbed again by not making it for the pens. A Stanley cup saving save doesn't make it again.
Where is the Wild?
Niemi nah Nabby yah
1:28 ........ Excuse me xd
What? I don't get it.
Vancouver’s is very very wrong. Kirk McLean ‘the save’? I can also think of 3 or 4 more luongo saves better than miller’s
kirk is on the first video. did you not notice this was part 2?
Greatest CBJ save was without a doubt the 2 on O save Bob made against the Red Wings in November 2017. kzhead.info/sun/pLp7nM2rmXiia6M/bejne.html
What about the kraken
Once again, these are some of the best saves, but not really most memorable.
Where is Carey price
probably in montreal. you know the team has 110 years of history, right? that's more than the NHL itself.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Ja
lmao Detroit got robbed on most of these
💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Eka
Whoever made this needs to be fired
Hire someone that’ll actually do their research and take it from the teams fan perspective if you’re gonna make videos like these
Red wings get robbed a lot
Most of these are pure luck
Im a goalie hi
Fluery’s save wasn’t even that good. Just moved to the side, stop complaining
