We take a marvelous Fall trip to Alaska's Alpine Tundra in search of caribou, moose or black bear. We hunted hard, enjoyed good food in our toasty tent with the dogs and walked many miles on the mountainous terrain. Although no animals was harvested, everlasting memories were made.

    • Yes, people were actually created to experience living in nature. It's quite unnatural to live away from it. For people who always seem to be stressed out, it's good to spend a day alone, fishing or something... to be near some water, to relax, and take in all of the beauty and tranquility. It's healthy.

  • I live in a big east coast city, working a big, hectic job. Camping and spending time in the mountains is my passion. The quietness and vastness of waking in the wilderness makes me feel complete. Somehow everything makes sense when that silence settles in.

  • Ariel. Way way back in 1975, I experienced the same feeling you had here. And it was profound. I was in the mountains of Colorado with my dog Jess. I had the opportunity to listen to complete silence, breathe in the scent of the woods, witness the brightest stars I’ve ever seen or ever will see. And I communed with something more powerful than me. And to this day (I’ll be 70), I’ve never really had such a powerful realization of my being and the beauty of what the world should be like than that few days when I was young. Thank you, darling lady, for your lovely insight. My favorite video to date. ❤️❤️

    • The vast majority of hunters follow the rules. Are you "City People"?

      @richardfrank9317@richardfrank93177 ай бұрын
    • @@richardfrank9317 Wha? Of course they do and if you do know a thing or two about hunting you'll know that people don't follow rules and they do cut corners FAR more often than they should. Whether it's out-of-season kills, or hedging when they put their tag on an animal, or road shoots, or a bit after sunset a shot leaves the barrel, or they see sign and they don't track the animal because they're lazy low-integrity hunters or cutting across some private acreage you don't have permission to be on in the back country but it makes your hike shorter etc etc etc. There's a reason that game wardens are the most dangerous law enforcement job in the USA. So before you condemn that person for giving them a compliment you should step back a bit and be honest that the community can do far better. And, if you're unfamiliar with any of those things on the short-list I provided than you have no real experience in this domain. I have too many stories to tell in which people did anything BUT what was "the right thing".

  • Beautiful scenery again! Alaska sure is spectaculair. I think it’s one of God’s masterpieces. As you said Ariel, there are no words for such marvelous things as the pure quietness, the beauty that we can not understand with our simple minds. It’s THAT greatness that we have been given from our marvelous Creator!

  • The scenery there is so beautiful. The camera work Ariel does is amazing. It’s wonderful that y’all have such a great relationship that you both enjoy doing so much of the same things. Y’all are so lucky to live there to be able to enjoy the things y’all do. Good luck with hunting. My dream is to one day be able to come there to see the northern lights. That is so amazing to me.

    • Bo actually does much better than Bandit on these trips 🙂 Bandit is a very active so staying still is a challenge but Bo's perfect day includes lounging all day.

  • 🕊️🙏🏼🙌🏽🎶What a beautiful emotional trip… watching as a mom, I felt concerned for you and thought it was way too cold, but after hearing Ariel describe how she felt about everything she saw and was experiencing, I could see that this was a very emotional & spiritual experience for her, and then I could see both of your excitement and determination! It was a really a beautiful video! I’m just really glad y’all made it home safely! I do pray yall get your moose or caribou this year! God bless you two! Y’all did an amazing job filming and editing this video! I felt like I was right there with you!❤
