Dangerville I love your videos and I was wondering that it could we have an interview if it's okay with you and discord
In my opinion loved every second of it in my opinion it’s the best mv movie and the cgi is amazing for the budget and amount of monster screen time human charters are the best I’ve seen in a mv movie in my opinion I love the monsters in this movie they have a lot of character From fans that have watched it that I’ve spoken to it’s about a 8/10 or 9/10
I dont listen to rotton tomatos. i listen to movie fans and normal people
me neither
Lmao exactly I don't even see the point in movie critics because it's the normal people/fans who watch movies that actually tell you truthfully if a movie is good or not. Allot of these critics complain about movies that majority of the world loves so that says something about a critics opinion. Then it's the critics who love movies that are completely trash and most normal people agree on the movie being trash. I've never gone wrong listening to normal non critics opinion but have gone wrong many a time listening to a critic.
cirtics love stuff we hate. and again. ill never forgive their rating to cuties... ugh 🤢 🤮
bruh rotten tomatoes is filled with egotistical maniacs
Right on I agree
Too many critics are unfairly comparing it to Minus One. The seasoned fans are generally more reliable in this case. Edit.) I watched the movie and it was better than I could've hoped. Even the humans were fun to watch.
The worst is hapening, why, why They had to make that damn comparison!?
@@Still.the.best.2021because apparently it's a trend

Bullshit: It’s Not Even Because Of Minus One It’s Just Sucks In General That CGI HELL NAW It’s A Kong Movie Naw This Is Godzilla’s Time 70 Years Of Godzilla And This Is What We Get Kong Main Character Forget Godzilla Fuck You Wingard
You can’t compare a more casual action movie to minus 1. They are going for COMPLETELY different things.
I stopped listening to the critics when they complained about the focus on humans in KOTM and then complained about the lack of focus on the humans in GvK
This part
This is and has always been bullshit. Critics said that they were bad movies. This narrative you've crafted is a lie meant to make "critics" one hypocrite with one opinion. It's not true though. Your room temperature IQ, barely literate ass never read a review anyway for either movie. You just uncritically absorb whatever your KZheadrs tell you.
Dont listen to those nerds, enjoy the movie ❤
Bruh. I swear, all critics share one brain cell.
@@Aeon-the-Voidmind it's also just as likely that they got paid off by other companies to shit on the movie
The movie was dope . As someone who grew up with both Kong and Godzilla it’s great to see them really fight side by side . Making my child come out again lmao
Critics are trying to thrash this movie again because of less human interference in it. This movie is gonna smash the box office because the fans LOVE IT.
Yes absolutely that's what I'm saying.
less human intereference is what we needed. The last two movies werent as good as id hoped only because of the focus of the humans
Yea cause the critics want a movie of Madonna’s wrinkly old ass in a love movie they are idiots
For real, I've been wanting less human interference for the last two movies.
You can also blame the toxic Gfans trashing it over Minus One and Doktor Skipper for making an even bigger deal about it. However, who cares about them, they're just the minority, the audience and the box office is the majority
I'm not gonna spoil it, but yes folks IT WAS WORTH IT.

Short answer: The film was pretty amazing. Rotten tomatoes is usually like this when it comes to movies that aren't serious and grounded, despite if the movie was good or not. I'd recommend getting your answer from the audience scores instead, as they aren't from those heavy critics who want to criticize the film instead of seeing what's good about it. As of writing this, the audience score is a very good 93%.
Because they always compare it to their favorite minus one which is very different to this and they don't understand the difference between monsterverse and this one. Slowly losing minds.
@@Matt_Gon.23this actually has nothing to do with Godzilla minus one. It does however have to do with the shallow/lazy writing of the monsterverse. They have some Major problems with the lore and forbidden knowledge, lost civilizations in correlation to everything, I believe that is where the human story is for the monsterverse. The search and fight over lost lore, tech, and civilizations. We see this sprinkled throughout the monsterverse but they never lean into it. They could flush out Apex, Monarch, and the Eco Terrorist this way as they would be at odds trying to utilize what they find to advance their positions financially in the world or protect something... Etc.
My rebuttal to this would be: Monarch Legacy of Monsters. There you go, there's your dive into more of the lore.@@KaijuKits-yo9yp
Rotten Tomatos: 54% IMDB: 6.7/10 Metacritic: 47% And then there's Google Users, with '96% liked this film'... Yeah, I can really see how well the critics represent us.

You know what would be really cool? If Legendary made Books Detailing the Hollow Earth and Skull Island. From the history of the locations to the wildlife that inhabits it. Much like Peter Jackson’s Book Skull Island: The World of Kong. Maybe a Book of Titans.
That's a great idea.
Omg, That Sounds Like a Perfect idea. They Could Take the Leap of Faith and Give us more in depth of the Storyline/Timeline/Lore about the Monsterverse's Hollow Earth Like Biomes, New locations, Not Just "New" Stuff But "Promised" Stuff Etc.
I dream that Legendary will release a book where they tell us about all the monsters from MV. They would have revealed all unseen Kotm titans LOL.
Book 1-Skull Island: The Ultimate Guide Book 2-Bestiary of Titans Book 3-History of Monarch Book 4-Hollow Earth: The Ultimate Guide
That is a genius idea
i love the part where Godzilla said “its zillin time “ and punch kong…then kong replying “kongin time “
I absolutely love the movie. The biggest grip I had about the film was that they didn't feel as heavy as they did in the other films. Like they felt smaller and lighter. I know that they are 300 ft tall, but they didn't feel like it. It's hard to explain.
Hollow earth made them look normal
I get that. You want to be in awe, see them towering over you, feel the ground break underneath their feet, hear the sounds booming around you. I sound a little over the top, but you get where I’m coming from. The movie was more like watching an action movie than an epic clash of the titans, still fun though.
Maybe because most scene took place in Hollow earth where everything is giant, idk. Hopefully they wuold do better phisyc on their next installment...also showing put some effort on effect for damage done by blunt force to the monster's body...
Adam Wingard, the director, said that from the titans perspective, they are pretty fast. From the human perspective, the titans now seem slower. One example is when Godzilla’s tail is destroying a building in Rio De Janiero while tackling Shimo from the humans perspective. You could see the tail movemenet being very slow and you can feel weight. It’s like a fly with a human. For a fly, a human running would be pretty slow. For a human, it would be normal. The reason why you think the titans are moving so fast and it is unrealistic, even though from all the human POV they look slow, it is because they show more titan perspective than human perspective.
I mean tbh 60% ain’t bad. KOTM got a 45%. Before the reviews came out I was expecting critics to absolutely rip it to pieces.
It’s now in the fifties
Just watched it, It sucks bad. They just blended planet of the apes with avatar/valarian planet of 1000 cities and had a big power ranger/pacific rim CGI boss fight at the end. Literally a DVD bargain bin fire, that melted a few crap movies together..

Monarch Season 2 was confirmed by KDM for a 2025 release, so you can expect a lot more content to come ;) as for another film, we'll just wait and see
If there is another film in the Monsterverse, i really would love to see Legendary Titans from KOTM in it, so many good monsters we have not seen or heard of again.
@@mew19forever pay attention as you watch this.
@@rushfan9thcmd Oh, i know! I meant to say i would love to see more Titans like Behemoth, Methuselah, Amhuluk, Na Kika, Bunyip, even the Muto's once again. Theses Titans had amazing stories and design, it would be a shame to never see them again.
Angurius!
Watched the movie a few hours ago and MY GOD.... THIS WAS A ANDRENALINE-PUMPING RIDE! Yes, it had a lot of flaws as equivalent of KOTM and a dip from GvK but that didn't bother me at all. It pays an excellent homage to Showa Era. I'd watch the film 4 times more if it weren't for my wallet.
This was an entertaining film. And that is the overall point of this franchise. To entertain the audience with it's Monster Verse. I've seen terrible movies and this is not one of those. I loved that we got to see Kongs yearning to find his ancestors and his development as a monster. He is not the strongest but with the help of Monarch and the infinity gauntlet. He levels up and is able to hold his ground against Godzilla but there is still a lot more room for growth in Kongs case. I loved that Godzilla got a new look going Super Saiyan Rose and they made him way more mobile and flexible. He moves faster and more realistic than the stiff Godzilla we were used to. I can't wait to see what the next film brings. Maybe another Kong and Godzilla team up or maybe Kong will finally be ready for a rematch now that he has an army of Chimps or Orangutans.
I don't understand first it was complaining about the human screen time and less monster action, now film is out and suddenly complaining about human dialogue, smfh just goes to show people will never be satisfied or happy with anything, also people expect a movie like this to be a Oscar film
They had the same issue with 2014 and KOTM. Critics are just snobs who just look for a reason to complain
Exactly
@thenedsmmachannel8970 I agree, and yet they had the audacity to give Cuties a high score! What a joke they are. In my opinion, being movie critic as a job should be eliminated altogether and Rotten Tomatoes, IMDB and many more critics sites should shut down. All they care about money and that's it, nothing else. That's why I always listen to the audience and watch the film itself to get the feel.

My experience from the movie: Don't listen to the critics but instead to the fans. I enjoyed every single minute of the movie and didn't look away once from the screen. It's a 10/10 for me and the best MV movie i've seen. Epic fights and everything is in this movie. So i recommend you go watch this movie because it's 100% worth your money. They just compare the effects with minus one which is stupid since both movies are different but i'm not saying the effects from GxK are terrible because they were also very good. I mean come on they gave KOTM such a bad review compared to the fans. update: the audience score is 92% so i was right. The fans love it unlike the critics so don't listen to the critics

The entire movie feels like a modern Showa era Godzilla movie with a big budget. And I love it for that. Almost like an updated vs megalon movie since there are so many kaiju and team ups and in megalon Godzilla also seemed to take a back seat to jet jaguar.

Its gvk with twice as much titans and action and the human characters don’t suck
@@firenze6478 Exactly! couldn't have said it better
I LOVED GvK :>
I think you’re underselling Godzilla’s role in this movie. He’s barely in the trailer, but he’s in this entire film, fights multiple other monsters, and stomps through different cities. Plus he has a nice nap in Rome’s Colosseum. He was in it more than GvsK.
To be fair Godzilla has always been portrayed as a force of nature, not exactly a character like Kong who seems more human than Godzilla.
That scene of Godzilla taking some snoozes in Rome's Colosseum was insanely adorable
Which movie did you watch? This was mostly a Kong movie. If you're a fan of Showa Godzilla then you will like it more but if you're a Heisei fan, you'll likely hate it. I felt like I was watching a generic guardians of the galaxy movie mixed with planet of the apes
@therealalexmullins well I haven't seen it yet and heisei is my favourite era out of the four to five so guess I'll keep an open mind while watching
Nah man, thisnwasna through and through Kong movie and Godzilla was mainly a plot device.
Think I’m the only dude who enjoyed the movie enough to give it a 10/10.
There is no way they're saying this was a bad movie!!! In fact I'm going to see it again!! 🤨🤨
Remeber guys the only opinion that matters is your own. No critic or media personally can decide for you if a movie/show is good or not. Personaly, there are few people who's opinions matter less to me than critics.
You are you right don’t let people tell you what is good or bad
I ain’t watched this film yet so pls no spoilers: One thing I want ppl to remember is Godzilla’s role on the planet. He isn’t just a monster to look cool and beat up others, he is the keeper of earth whose job is to keep the planet’s balance of nature. It’s what makes me love this Godzilla so much
I hope nobody spoils anything for you. People need to be more careful with that stuff.
I saw it and I’ll tell you this. This is a movie made for the fans. The heck with the critics.
Godzilla and Kong wins
wouldnt really say godzilla was ‘keeping the balance’ in this movie
@@princeporridge6928 But he was though
I agree 200% with your thoughts on the movie. I believe there should be an extended version for home release...I would'nt mind a 20 or 25 minute longer run time.
I just saw it yesterday it was badass so much fighting and was really focused on the titans and hollow earth the fact that shimu was being controlled by scar king and automatically turned on him in the final scene and took sides with kong and Godzilla instead of being a villian so hopefully in future movies shimu will return and fight along side kong and godzilla and im so happy Mothra came back
I have been a Godzilla fan since I was a kid, I am 52, This movie was exactly what I want from a Godzilla movie!!! This is definitely a King Kong movie, some of the human parts are a little boring, butif you came to see monsters fight, you will not be disappointed
I honestly didn't realize it was a Kong movie till way later. good call.
The human parts aren't the worst either- they have been far more boring in previous entries but were actually sometimes fun in this one. All 4 of the main cast are lively as well. At the end of the day we came to see big monsters duke it out, and this movie has that in spades.
I'm 38 and my ten year old self was giggling like he was on ten-thousand sugar highs, this movie was so good
In my opinion i think milly bobby brown who was in king of the monsters movie should come back her relationship with godzilla felt way more then that one girl with kong
@@reyy722 yeah, I don’t know why that haven’t brought her back?
When you said that this movie is more about monsters and was good, I was instantly hooked. I always love a movie that can portray animal or monster characters well without having them speak English or give them subtitles. Being able to actually understand them as the creatures they are is great
I saw this yesterday with my son on a whim without ever seeing a trailer. I don’t know all the monster lore and didn’t have high expectations but I actually surprised how fun this movie was. It didn’t try to take itself seriously and was was just nonstop action. I made me want to look for other monster movies and I noticed that Godzilla minus 1 will be streaming soon. The movie from the trailers reminds me of the old classic Godzilla movie a grew up with. To me the last good monster movie was 1976 Kong and not because of the special effects but the actors and story.
100% agree with everything you said… only thing I would add is watch it in 4d not imax… it was a roller coaster and it made the movie 10x more enjoyable. I saw Minus One in imax and 4d and there both in its own amazing but the 4d moving seats, water, smoke, lighting effect just brings you in the movie.

Just got back, I absolutely loved it. Wish Goji took more of a center stage but WHEN he was on screen you felt his presence and ability. The final sequence was batshit crazy and I loved the scene where Kong challenges skar in his lair. I actually enjoyed Skar King as a villain, he had unique mannerisms and conveyed a twisted personality.
yeah skar king feels like an actual villain while the other monster enemy are more of a territorial beast than an evil villain
I loved it, the action was awesome and I love the way the characters were the “tellers” of the story!💕🐻
Haha! I just came back from the theater today, and I watched the movie. IT WAS AMAZING!!! Sure, the things you said regarding criticism I do have to agree, but that never bothered me as I watched it. It was incredible to see how the story went and how the titans were handled in the movie. It felt like everything I loved about Godzilla and Kong was made into this film, one that I'll gladly rewatch it once I get a chance to. Definitely recommend it.
The people/Fans determine if a movie is good or not, movies end up having a good audience score, while rotten tomatoes just shits on everything they love negativity it draws more attention and they get payed for it.
Could’ve been 30 more minutes longer but it was still good 🔥💯 suko getting used as a weapon but him helping at the end was really cool
It was an absolute blast. And yes Godzilla had very, very little screen time, but he was an absolute wrecking machine. This was a Final Wars "FAFO" Godzilla.
I Saw this movie , i loved it
Wish I could erase my memory so I can re-watch it all again. That's how much I liked it.
my only complaint is the under usage of godzilla, and they couldve made the run time just 30 minutes longer so the fight scenes were longer
with all the other stupid replies calling Godzilla a side character I do agree that it could’ve been longer to add some more of Godzilla while keeping the importance of Kong’s adventure
The movie to me was amazing but I can also see what you are saying. It would have only improved a great thing.
thanks for the spoiler free review!!
I’m hoping to see it later this week. I can’t wait. I usually wait a week or so with the big movies for the crowds to settle down a little.
I absolutely enjoyed every moment a monster was on screen. They made the monsters more like humans, and the actual humans were somewhat likable. As said in the video the film is certainly focused more on the Monke aspect than the lizard aspect, to the *mild* dismay of me, a Godzilla fan. Still, the time that the G man is on screen leaves a huge impression, with him wiping the floor with monsters left and right. He’s still about as important as kong to me, even though the evolved version didn’t change much in terms of new abilities. Skar king is such a well developed villain, and he definitely gets his message of „evil ape tyrant” across. However, the one character that felt underdeveloped to me was Shimo. While her presence was menacing, I found her screentime to be a bit lacking and less impactful than Godzilla’s. The humans barely elaborate on Shimo, leaving it to be a pretty mysterious creature. The major problem with Shimo is that while the three other titans feel very human, Shimo still feels like an animal with not a lot of personality compared to Skar. She very much has the impression of being a portable laser cannon for Skar’s ape army rather than a fleshed out character. Still, this movie is GREAT!
I wish goji evolved used his spiky tail more. It could have worked against kong in a certain scene, though I guess its good he didn’t do that
@@firenze6478 Tbh the movie didn’t even show you the fact that he had a spiked tail so I guess it’s more for toy advertising and making them more interesting than previous designs. But then again, once you fire an atomic ray of utter destruction and pink glowiness you don’t need a spiked tail, do you?
To be fair Godzilla has always been portrayed as a force of nature, not exactly a character like Kong who seems more human than Godzilla.
First they hate the past monsterverse movies for too much humans and now they hate the new ones for too much titans, rotten tomatoes is just full of nerds that love depth and depression in movies
like wtf, hating on a literal *Kaiju Movie* because there are less human scenes.
Well said.😅
I love depth and depression and that’s why I love Godzilla King Of Monsters
Watched it last night and loved it!! I didn’t feel that the pace was too fast and the fight was short. Graphics were amazing, good story, seems like the human element of the monsterverse has gotten a lot better.
So I saw it today in 3d with D-Box aka moving seats. And it’s awesome when kong moves the seats make a jump like how he would run while when Godzilla movie it felt steady. Honestly if you can’t see the movie in imax get a D-Box seat you won’t regret it and while at first you might not like it. After getting use to it you will start to get really immersed and it feels amazing.
Just watched the movie yesterday and it was PEAK FICTION! The movie was so fun to watch, my only complain is that the fight scene is not long enough lol

For the disappointed Goji fans, remember that GvK was also largely about Kong, but it still made Goji look great. I actually like the limited Goji scenes because it makes him seem more special, like a force of nature.

Yeah all of the critics just gave it a low score because of Minus One, they just love pointlessly comparing Minus One to the monsterverse movies, it's plain dumb, Monsterverse movies are supposed to be fun, less serious and just about the giant monster brawls, Minus One is more serious but is still entertaining at thesame time, it makes you root for both characters, humans and godzilla himself EDIT: GXK the New Empire has that showa feel to it when it comes to action, like godzilla suplexing kong in the desert like straight out of WWE and godzilla shoulder checking scylla in their fight, GXK is modern showa change my mind
And it wasn’t politically driven, like cuties…
And they need to understand. Success of monster verse paved the way for shin godzilla and minus one. If monsterverse failed , they won't have a minus one goji

My thoughts, I agree with the overall rating of 8. I saw it in 3D and enjoyed it. IMO the pace was better than GvK and was not an issue, for me. I only noticed the music at about a handful of spots. The 50/50 split between human and monster scenes was a good balance. We didn't need to focus on what Monarch was doing as a whole, just keep the focus on the group that we had like the movie did for a majority of the human side of the film. I appreciate that the trailers didn't show us any major plot twists, as too many movies tend to do nowadays. There was a fun cameo at the end of the opening scene, and yes a couple things people had speculated on from the trailers were correct (ie The part of the trailer with Kong and Goji roaring at the Pyramids, and the crystal on the end of the Skar King's whip). As it was said we all knew (or at least should have) that this was going to be a Kong-centric movie with Goji helping out. I might even go again to watch in IMAX.
The thumbnail might sway people from not watching it. Throw audience up there too. Your clickbait is enough to turn people away at a glance man. Have some courtesy. I want more movies💀 we need this to do as good as possible in sales. It was absolutely FIRE
How is it clickbait to show the actual Rotten Tomatoes score? I ain’t making shit up.
Tbh I dont trust rotten tomatoes anymore, for me the film is a blast it's totally worth it
Absolutely. Don't trust IMDB or any other sites either, all they care about is watching the film and getting paid to review it and that's it, they don't even care about what the audience thinks
All those critics care about is if the story is grounded or not, but not if it's actually a good film@@shanewalters2565
@DangerVille I hope the monsterverse continues on plus it isn't the fans discison it's TOHO's discison cause they own Godzilla and other kaiju it's up to them if they want it to continue or not but from my eyes in the trailers I think it'll be one heck of a life time
Don’t listen to critics ever.
Going to the theaters today hope it’s amazing 🔥
These tourists are WILD! Just saw it and LOVED IT!
Rotten tomatoes is forever a joke i'm still going to see Godzilla x Kong because it is alot of fun to watch
This shit was very cool and very epic! A really fun story story and truthfully its the first time the human characters have something to do that has meaning and not only that but they arent the main focus and they aren't what drives the story.
See it in IMAX before passing judgment. I thought it was great in IMAX. So glad I went and saw it and look forward to seeing it again.
Why can’t we just live in a world where everyone doesn’t make hating movies a habit. I’m sick of it.
We shouldn't just let companies make shit movies and get away whith it either
@@Bignfluffy blah blah blah. I don’t care.
@@Bignfluffyit’s the love and effort that matters as well, as much as I hate the monsterverse you really have to appreciate how much work they put into this.
Me too
Yes its so old. I mean lets drop everything we’re doing to cry about this piss poor made movie when theres more pressing matters to take care of. If you’re willing to waste time crying over some movie then you have no control over time and then they become everyone’s annoyance.
I hope the next movie in the monsterverse is more Godzilla focused than Kong foucused
Fr, we've gotten two back to back Kong centric films
I only care that Godzilla is stronger than Kong. And he still is 😂 so I’m happy
I'm glad to see they cut many human interactions off, I didn't go to the movies cuz lately there has been Soo many bad movies, if they keep it up I'll definitely be there next time😊
I personally LOVED the movie. I do hear alot of people criticizing this movie and its viewers, but thats not going to stop me from forever enjoying it.
Same, I will not rely on those critic reviews forever, because in the end our own opinions are matters.
The monster verse needs a titan ape that can fire beams from its mouth like DBZ Oozaru. Physically up to scale as King Kong and has special vocal organs that can generate powerful sonic blasts when it roars
Also it looked like Godzilla was charging up a final flash lol
I wish ppl didn't randomly post spoilers tbh I didn't want to get spoiled bro
Fr i got a spoiler for the ending but i wont tell
@@alaaal-refai3708thanks
Same but I got spoiled I won’t tell u tho
@@user-sk3ir1gh4j yea thanks
With out spoiling would you say it was a twist or had you not have known would you see it coming
I liked it. I'm just wondering where to go next? Maybe season 2 of Monarch will give us a clue. There’s the swarm of bugs monster that might make another appearance.
I hope so much that there will be more movies from the monsterverse espacilly because im not sure if toho would start a godzilla series if the monsterverse would stop (yes they still do movies but i want an long godzilla era) (yeah i also love movies who are alone but i want to have a long series of godzilla)
In my opinion, Godzilla wasn’t even in Godzilla versus Kong that much either. Kong had the most story and that’s fine cause you can relate with Kong better than Godzilla, but that doesn’t change the fact that he is the king of the monsters.
This is a continuation of what I was talking about earlier. Also, I felt Godzilla vs Kong was also very fast paste I mean the fights weren’t really that long at all.
@@Kingofvizit’s the same in gxk. Though kong has some drawn out encounters where he basically becomes first blood rambo.
The next movie needs to be a Godzilla solo movie it’s almost like he’s become a side character
I would like a solo Kong film
The movie is ABOUT Kong finding his family. Goji is like that one side character who wrecks everyone. You can't expect goji screen time in a movie where a giant monke is trying to find his family. Exactly the problem with the critics
I take my critiques from the only Godzilla fan that matters to me. Me.
We are speedrunning the og godzilla films series development pipeline
Theress a reason rhe monsterverse is loved. It is made by fans for fans. Its a modern showa, qlbiet with some seriousness of older movies. The comedy is well done, as some.out of pocket moments really mare everyone laugh. Godsilla x kong doesnt follow hollywoods agendas, that's why its hated.
