White is in the move and has to keep attacking to win this. Can you find the winning variation?
I couldn't find any information about who composed this puzzle, if you know please tell me.

A wise man once said: "check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check and mate"
Ha ha ha
Gesundheit!😂
"Is this a staircase?? Check check check check check.... it's a staircase....check check check check check, Nf8, Qf8, Qf8 and we win the game" ---Hikaru
I solved this one in just a few seconds. Just kept looking for the checks and whatever kept the king stuck at the corner surrounded by his own pieces.
You are brilliant... Exceptional and excellent. Thank you very much, God bless you
he didn't create the puzzle ... lol
its hard work to find such brilliant puzzles, so many puzzles you need to check...
Amazing! First time I learn about this staircase solution! But it makes sense indeed!
Love a good staircase solution. That and underpromotion solutions. ❤
Nice staircase
I didn't bother following it through to the end, expected that to be the fork. But I did find the first two moves and the staircase.
"Wait a day more" as a theme is a great insight. Thanks. If Saul had waited a day more before doing the unauthorized sacrifice.
Great puzzle! I wonder if and how they could come to the initial position in a real game
And she’s buying a staircase to checkmate …
There’s a lady who knows . . There’s nowhere good for the king to go . .

Yet another gem
the hikaru famous puzzle
The Queen has to walk upstairs😊
one more time to realize that hikaru is a monster
I know some staircase problems...bu not this one...
I've seen Hikaru solving it in seconds
The 3 same moves by black king would cause a draw
That's not the rule. The rule isn't about moves, but about positions. The same board position (including both player's pieces) must be repeated three times. That doesn't happen here.
No that's not a draw since it's only black repeating the same position

Beauty queen night dance walk
Ng6+, Kg7 Qf8+, Kh7 Qh8++
It´s far from being that easy. The knight on g6 is hanging so the king will take it after Qf8+
I knew I must have missed something. Cheers.
But three repetetive moves of king will lead to draw ?
Both sides has to repeat the moves for a draw to be ruled.
Repetitions need to be both players
Btw it's not about repeating moves, it's the position that has to repeat 3 times. The white queen is on different squares each time, so no repetition
