Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 - 16 November 1973) was an English writer and speaker known for interpreting and popularising Buddhism, Taoism, and Hinduism for a Western audience. Born in Chislehurst, England, he moved to the United States in 1938 and began Zen training in New York. He received a master's degree in theology from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and became an Episcopal priest in 1945. He left the ministry in 1950 and moved to California, where he joined the faculty of the American Academy of Asian Studies.

86 the music please
Music is loud and awfull, alan watts allways marvellous
Thanks for your work, I like everything about this and no commercials is a fantastic bonus
So on point. ;)
Nice lecture, but music is so loud. 😢
Dear viewers, this video is a mix of teachings and 432hz Chill Mix intended for Meditation and Relaxation. It is inspired by Alan Watts’ lectures but it is not simply a lecture to listen to.
Love the music with this session buddy Thank you
Please, can someone mix out the music and background noise and repost this with a link.
But the Music brings the message Better if you cant meditate in a Boiler factory you can't Meditate
I wish I could hear the lecture and not the music.
TRIP!
I like the music until a segment near the end when it starts being really busy and drowning out Watts
Me too!!
✨🌞✨ 🫸🌟🫷 Namaste
Ive heard soooo much alan watts sometimes you want a music/chill one to keep you inspired and this is not over done at all this is actually perfect , very powerful and chill , well done
Exactly this is one the best ones with music def q saved one I wish to have his and many others saved in like a huge library for just philosophy and art and other interests of mine
@@SaaBAroS I'd recommend downloading them, bc they just get copyrighted and immediantly taken of KZhead! Best thing I ever did, I have his books but hearing him is very profound.
@miscellaneousSLUDGE what book should I get from him first I've loved his lectures and voice as well but never attempted his books
@@SaaBAroS His books are great they are exactly his lectures word for word and you read themnin his voice 🤣 , Id recommend, The Book on the Taboo of Knowing Who You Are, and The Wisdom of Insecurity , and This is It ,, I'd say the Wisdom of Insecurity is a really strong one to start with bc it feels very relevant to this. time
@miscellaneousSLUDGE I was start with your last recommendation I feel so lost confidence and not strong but weak and never really feel normal anymore but when I understand and break the world down like he did and does and many before I feel similar and connected which I've longed for so thank you for your time and wish one day to meet a man close to Alan's mind I lost my grandma and see alot in how he may have seen the world but again I neva had this view of the world when my grandma was around or at least never had the will to ask
I’ve heard this mix on showtime before. I respect this man’s channel and I want more music. As a matter of fact I think the hammering sounds are best. 12:34-1545
I can't hear his wise words...😢
So do I
The music spoils the video. It is anything but chill..certainly not meditative.
❤
Thank you for sharing this download, but I prefer my own mix. thanks. Yours is distracting.
Dear listeners I have uploaded a music free Alan Watts lecture: kzhead.info/sun/ibeBmdiIgqeedWw/bejne.html
Music in this one isnt bad its just annoying when its loaded than him
Music is way too loud, the black screen doesn't help, no way I could fall asleep to this😢
I’m about to put it to a test
@@TheLonelyFoot good luck!
Won’t listen to Watts with background music.
The music really is not helpful here
The music is too loud and distracting. Totally drowns out the Dharma talk. Too bad.
Apologies but terrible music selection
