You are such a shill. This mouse is far too light. It does not use usb c which is the most important feature for any mouse. The holes will leave permanent scarring on your hands and the magnesium construction means it is likely to burst in to flames at any moment. The worst thing however is that the mouse glorifies false gods and may itself even be a false idol, meaning that any blessing a priest attempts to apply likely won't take effect. I hope you get down on your knees and pray to the lord for forgiveness for what you have done and return the likely millions of dollars you were paid to post this review.

Whenever I rewatch boardzy video's, I always start with this video. This is hands down his best video. Every second of it is so enjoyable with every scene having some quotable moment. Well kudos to Finalmouse for using Ultem as the base (yes it's not full magnesium alloy) but Ultem is no ordinary plastic. They used a high strength/heat resistant premium "plastic" otherwise wireless wouldn't be an option. It's still has premium parts from top to bottom.

Just wanna start off by saying thank you for answering questions ! Personally answered a really important one from me but can you do us a huge favor and keep us posted on the battery life / if the paint fades over time ? A problem I had multiple times on razor products is that the color would fade badly after the first week or first month using the thing. Thanks again ! Really such a big help and Mabye you can do a video on the dpi variations ? / In game testing if the mouse skips at all :)
My issue with spending that much money on a mouse is that it won't make me THAT much better at the games I play but I can appreciate the time and effort FM spent to make a mouse even lighter than the GPX and that's worth something. Great review man! May cop their later version IF I can get one 😒

@Elliot O'Hanlon The problem is the 1 biggest cost of manufacturing when buying factories is tooling which oftentimes costs hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions when it comes to using multiple materials not counting assembly. The company might be worth tens of millions, but I heavily doubt they actually have that kinda money on hand at this moment.
Metals feel cold because they have high thermal mass and good heat conductivity. So essentially the suck heat out of your hand into the metal because your hand has ~37C and the metal has room temp ~20C. There is just not enough thermal mass in that mouse to make that happen.
i love how both starlight 12 reviews i've seen (yours and RJN's) sound like they were written by finalboy by virtue of the mice being just that good i can appreciate that FM made a genuinely great product that's moving the market forward, but god i wish it hadn't been them to do it. the steep price point, terrible availability, and borderline false advertising weren't unexpected, but are still tough to swallow - i suppose it could be seen as more of a voting with your wallet thing in the hopes that the other companies will mimic what these mice did right and push a new trend

I just wish they left the side button the same switch instead of going for a very miniature microswitch, same as the g pro super light. It saved like 2 grams but would have changed the clicking experience.
I think the side buttons are still sufficient but I agree that the ul2 side buttons would be preferable. I didn’t even know they weren’t normal switches until after I posted my review

I was lucky enough to get one, but to the people who can't. Look into 3D printing an ultralight 2 shell and putting it on a g305 PCB. It's like 48 grams and will get you by until the next drop. That's what I was going to do if I didn't get one
It won’t feel nearly as good but it is an option, I might make a comparison vid between my piranha ul2 and the SL
I NEED this mouse in my life, and sadly I may never get it. I still think the ultra light 2 is the best shape for fingertip and nothing I have tried to date has changed my opinion. I just hope there is some kind of availability of the mouse going forward 😞
