We Finally Understand The Entire It Story

2017’s It turned out to be a big hit with audiences and critics, but anyone who had read the Stephen King novel knew that the story was only going to get weirder in the second film. That’s because Pennywise the Clown is just one manifestation of an ancient evil that crash-landed on earth from another planet and wages intergalactic war with a turtle god.
It’s probably for the best that the turtle god was left out of the films, but there is still a pretty complicated timeline at play. Let’s take a look at the timeline of the entire It story.
#It #Movie #StephenKing
In the beginning | 0:00
You'll float, too | 1:51
Meet the Losers | 2:59
A love triangle | 4:03
A bad place to grow up | 5:18
Pennywise the Dancing Clown | 6:32
Sewer rescue | 8:03
A blood oath | 8:30
27 years later | 9:26
Henry is back | 10:08
The final battle | 10:45

  • I thought it was a bizarre development that the writers of the new films chose to make Ben the nerd for local history that spends his free time in the library but then have Mike grow up to be the one literally living in the library and running it. • The bit of the book where Stuttering Bill confronts the creature in the deadlights in order to save Audra is one of the very coolest parts of the book. In it we glimpse the true depths of the creature and come to understand that IT never realized it "could " die until the Losers made it. That is the source of It's hatred for them and why it offers them a bribe to let IT live.

    • Stephen King (obviously), Lewis Carroll, Charles Dickens, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Kerouac, Robert Lewis Stevenson, Louisa May Alcott and many more where under the influence of drugs and alcohol when writing what would become famous novels. I guess it is down to opinion on if you think these stories are any good but they were still highly popular due to the unusual aspect to the books.
