    • War changes you. War tears a piece of your soul right out from under you. When you return, no one recognizes you. All you want to do is return to the chaos. Because that piece of your soul is trapped, you know not peace anymore. You try, oh how you try, to reconcile the emptiness within, to find some semblance of the peace you once knew, but all you feel is... nothing. Your soul has suffered a stroke, and now everything is numbness. On a sporadic occasion a cacophony of feelings rush back in, mostly resulting in unfathomable rage, pain, anguish, and uncontrollable weeping, like that lost piece of your soul is screaming to be freed. Then, nothing. Nothingness, once more. And on the rare occasions you have to be around people, you grit your jaw, grinding your teeth, forcing the occasional smile, fooling everyone around you so well, they all think you are fine, and if you ever say you are not, then you get accused of making it up to get attention, when attention is the LAST thing you want. So you shirk away, spending less and less time with anyone, except when absolutely necessary and/or unavoidable. War. No one is right in war. Some just take longer to die.

The cycle is on repeat. And then.. on a non-specific moment.. you hear this song. It breaks you... Tears running down your cheek... Suddenly all the sorrow and sadness of the world is upon your shoulders...why? Dying people, sick people.. all you can do is cry. This music is really something magical... It helps me breath It helps me pause Stop the repeat Enjoy the applause Back to work continue their healing enjoy being alive, with a happy feeling.

  • "Fear Not" "S-sarah..." Micheal muttered blinking through the blood covering his face. "Hush brother..." She gently helped him into a somewhat comfortable position. "Sis...I can't...I can't feel anything...not even pain." Sarah smiled softly at her brother as tears slid down her cheeks, "I know. But you fought wonderfully and we won." "We...did?" "Yes, and it's thanks to you." Micheal let out a rough laugh before coughing, blood coming up with the cough. "Shh...rest now..." Micheal smiled at his sister, "Are they safe?" She glanced over to where Lily and Helen stood, clinging to each other crying. "You did well, Helen is back and they are together." Relief filled her brother's face and he smiled even as his breathing grew weaker. "Watch over them for me Sarah..." Sarah wiped at some dirt and blood on his face her smile growing sadder as tears fell harder. "You know I will silly...even if you hadn't asked. They are the heart and soul of our world...we can't lose them again. Now rest...I will guard them till my dying breath..." Micheal's eyes closed slowly, "Yes...I'll see you again sister." She leaned down kissing his forehead, "Till we meet again, my dear little brother..." She whispered as the rest of his body faded away.

  • As time moves on. You move along with it. But you are lost until you've found what you have always wanted to do. As day by day comes and goes. You think to yourself, "What will I do?" you question your being. As you grow old and move along having found want you wanted to do. You move up. As you look down on what you've done to get to that point in life asking yourself everyday "what can i do today? What will i look forward tomorrow? What did i do in the past?" you ponder on you could've done better. But the best thing is in life is that as you continue to do things and move forward. And look back at what you've done. You smile. Without it you would be going in a circle and not the path you made for yourself by deciding the next move.

  • Based on the picture, For the Fallen A young woman and her father had gone out sailing. It was her first time going with him. After all, he was a sailor. "I can't believe that I am finally out at sea!" she would say to herself. She looked out into the beautiful blue ocean, watching the fish swim out and under the waves. The woman's name was Mary. With the most colorful shade of blue for eyes. "Mary, there is a storm coming. Let's head inside." Her father said. Mary didn't hear him though, the waves were too loud, and Mary didn't know what a storm looked like out at sea. "Mary!" her father called again. This time she heard him and ran to his side, "Yes, what is it?" she asked, "We need to head in there is a storm coming; it's coming quick." Her father shouted, but it was too late. A bolt of lightning zapped the boat and was sinking their ship! Out of shock, Mary moved backward and flew off the boat, splashing into the cold waves. The poor girl fell to the deepest parts of the ocean and didn't wake up. A century later... No one saw the girl nor her father after that day out at sea. Yet, in the ocean, a mermaid awakens from her deep and peaceful slumber, "What happened to me?" she asked herself. She looked around to see nothing but the fish floating above her and the moonlight piercing into the water. "Dad! Dad!" she called. She wanted to cry, but she couldn't. Behind the young mermaid, a mesmerizing light touched her back. Turning to look, she saw a shipwreck closed off by a wall of water. Moving her blue tail up and down, she made it to the wall and noticed words on the side of the ship, "Oakland Harbor!? that was the name of my father's ship!" she shouted. swimming to the other side, she found the skeleton of the sea captain she missed terribly, and even though Mary was in the water, her cry was bitter as she stared at her father. "We need to head in; there is a storm coming!" she remembered him saying. she couldn't be looking at the sight anymore and swam as fast as she could to the shore of the ocean. She leaped out of the water, letting out her desperate, pleading cry for help. From that day forward, she stayed far away from that place. You might find her deep in the heart of the Indian Ocean or in the farthest part of the Pacific, But you will never see her near a shipwreck. I hope that this was a good story. I hope it entertained you, and I hope this inspired you to make your own. Violin Man, you have inspired me to write this. Thank you.

I gave up so many things to get here, only to realize that I was the villain of someone else's story, not the self-proclaimed hero of my own. It was all for nothing but one thing. Maybe that one thing was failure after all. Maybe you should have stopped to think "Hey, maybe we share the same loved ones." Now look what happened. I'm sitting in this cold, wet alleyway wasting the little bit of time I have left. Might as well go out with one final bang. I've still got a few bullets left. Just gotta use them wisely. • Since everyone is showing their idea for a story here’s mine. I hope you like it. It’s quite beginner-ish me being 13 years old and all. Please read it. 😊 She was staring at the emptiness. As tears slid down her pale cheeks, as mascara stained her cheeks and her sobs stained the silence, she couldn’t bring herself to hate him. But why? She was angry at her weakness, at her soft heart. Despite giving everything and anything she had up for the sake of her kingdom, they still hated her. Her shackles rubbed against her wrists in her attempts to get comfortable: she was probably going to be here a while, she might as well get comfortable. “Princess, your a long way from home. To what occasion do you owe me this pleasure?” Wretched stuck up fool we’re the only words going through her mind. “Your men bought me here. What couldn’t afford to get your makeup messed up in the rain?” She taunted loving a little too much how it affected him. He ran a hand through his black hair before his obsidian like eyes rested on her face once more. “Your nothing but a stuck up princess” he growled. “And your just another bastards child,” she snapped, “like me.” He slapped her across the face. Blood. She tasted blood. Her lip was bleeding. He kicked her in the ribs and she cried out. Tears started to flow down her cheeks-and she hated it. “Weak? You think I’m weak? My tears don’t make me weak, they show just how strong I am and how strong I will remain. While you are driven by revenge I am driven by love. The love of my family. The love of my friends. And my love for.... you.... but I realise no matter how much anyone loves you, you can never accept it because you want to see the blood of everyone who doesn’t think like you.... well guess what? Your time as the hunter is over...” she felt something stir within her. She felt the weight of the world building on her, but she burnt it to bits, because she was The Princess who freed her kingdom. Her skin raged and burned and she felt the shackles that held her lay as a quickly hardening pool of iron at the sides. With everything she had she burned. Her heart beating fast, she let the power corse through her veins. She let everything go. And from that moment on she knew no one could ever dampen her fire, not even her. For like a kingdom she will fall and rise and come back better and stronger. But this time the kingdom will be built on a powerful ruler a fearless one- like her. “Now I am the hunter....” she released the fire letting it rage.

She clearly cares about him, but we don't know her relation to him. Lover, friendship, or maybe even sibling or family. And there's this green fire coming out of his chest... is that his soul?? leaving? or some other magical fire? So so sad... T__T THIS one made me cry...

  • I always use your music as a background when I'm writing stories and it is such a big inspiration. It does not distract me from writing but it's not too quiet. It kinda messes with my head at some points which helps me to fill in plot holes or just get an idea of how the next sentece should be formed. I'm not the kind of person who can focus on that for too long but with this video playing in the background, I tend to write for 2 sometimes 4 hours straight without even considering to stop. You put in a lot of effort so the music fits the theme and the songs can flow into each other even though they are very different from each other. So thank you for that. Just thank you.

  • Hey guys! I just felt like practicing some writing so here I go! I'll try my best to write a story for each piece of wondrous music. 1. For the Fallen (idk this is what I imagined it is fantasy based) The girl was trapped on the other side of her sins to watch in repeat of what brought her to such a state. *Flashback* "Fight my brave soldiers!" The Princess ordered. "Fight till the bitter end! Not only for your families but also for the good of the nation!" The brave soldiers let out a warcry and charged to their inevitable death. The Princess, torn between serving her nation, and living her own life, had but only a single sin that made her ledger completely red. She never lived a single moment for herself, even before the war broke out. All she did, day and night, was work herself out for the good of her people. Her generous sacrifices were noticed by the gods who found it too much to bear, for even they were not as kind to their children. So, as a kind and generous gift, the gods trapped the Princess, far, far away from all the turmoil, so as to make sure her soul would be preserved. 2. This Quiet Violence A lonely little girl under an umbrella trudged along the snow-covered pathway. She was in the middle of the woods, the one she used to play in when everything was peaceful. Though the scenery was beautiful, all it brought to her was sadness and longing for the beautiful memories she created there. She longed for how things were before, before the war broke out, before her homeland was attacked. She just wanted everything to go back to normal. She was quiet, yes, but not silent. She was ready to fight for what she thought was right. But how could she? Just when all hope was lost, there was a little glimmer in the corner of her eyes. She looked up to see what it was. It was a beautiful, glowing butterfly. The bright color that shone from it showed her a vision of what the world would be without all the violence and pain. She once again lifted her head, ready to put in action the utopian world she had just seen.

  • This is a comment i left on a video titled Dr.Who change but it applies very well here too so here it is. Many people believe the worst day of their life will be their last. No my friend, you have already had the worst days of your life. It happened every time someone you loved said goodbye. Every time a friend or loved one walked through that door and left us behind to pick up the pieces. Change even the sad kind is unavoidable. But it's part of who we are. What makes us if you will. Change happens on it's own you don't even have to help it along. All we need to do is remember. Remember the joys of life, the sadness. And most of all remember who we were even though we have changed. If we can hold onto that then we never really changed at all... Just wanted to add this no matter how dark the world feels or is too you. Always remember to reach out and be kind to others. You never know when even in your darkest moments you may very well be a shining light to others who's lives you have touched.

  • So I'm writing a book, and this video is PERFECT to listen to, when I'm writing a romance scene. Here's a small part, could you please give me you honest opinion? { A tear rolled down my cheek. ''When he came at you with the dagger, I thought...I lost you.'' He stood quietly at the window, watching the rain fall. He turned to me, dark eyes gazing at mine, and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. ''It was either me or him. You did the right thing by killing him.'' he said softly. ''I don't regret it!'' I cried out, ''But I still killed someone. There was so much blood. And I thought-'' I stopped, for he leaned down and softly kissed my lips. He touched his forehead to mine, his thumb gently caressing my lower lip. I kissed him back, our kiss going deeper and deeper, hands tangling in each others hair. We kissed as if there was no tomorrow. As if the world was going to end. } Yes its very romantic XD, the girl is a Princess, and the guy is a Prince, who had someone sent out to kill him, it failed, but he still got stabbed. And the Princess is secretly in love with him (well after this scene, not very secret to him anymore XD) Is it good enough to put in my book for their there first kiss? Thank you :)

  • Based on the picture, Reach This story isn't as sad as the first, and I hope you enjoy it. Young 12-year-old Tara was deep in the forest of China. She was on a field trip with the rest of the students. The young girl didn't find being out in the woods very exciting, but she did it because they had to take pictures of what was most fascinating. "Alright, class, this is an open area. You may take pictures wherever you would like as long as you don't go anywhere else. Tara was a good student and always did as she was told. "What can I get out of these leaves? They look bare." She said to herself, "Tara." something whispered in her ear. It almost sounded magical. "Hello?" she asked. not knowing what she was doing, she left the class behind and followed the whisper. "Tara." the whisper said again. soon enough, Tara was running full speed through the forest! "Where are you?" she called out. All Tara heard was the quiet whisper calling her deeper into the forest. Suddenly, she felt herself drop into what felt like a neverending hole. Once she hit the dark ground, she cautiously, slowly, turned her head to look around, noticing only one thing. A golden violin, just lying there. She walked over to pick it up. As Tara bent down to grab the delicate instrument, she realized that her once white and green school uniform was now a beautiful green and gold dress! "Play!" the whisper came back. Tara picked up the violin and started to play it. You can hear her performance in the background of the music you are listening to right now. Once she had started, she couldn't stop playing it. as she played, she heard the voices of her friends and teacher calling for her. she stopped playing. "I'm down here!" she called. "I hear her!" one of the students shouted. Tara looked up with hope, knowing she was getting out. When she saw her friends running towards her, she shouted again. She hadn't noticed that they were going over the hole as if there was only ground! "What! No! what is happening?" she asked herself, "Play for me once, and I will set you free." the whisper was back again. Tara played her favorite song on the golden violin, and just as the voice had promised, she was set free. Something was different, though. The trees' leaves were gold, and the once dirt ground she was on was now grass! soft, green, and tall. "what happened here?" she asked herself. "You are not able to return back to the land you once knew. You have been gone too long." said the whisper, "How long have I been gone?" she asked it. There was a silence, "How long have I been gone?" she shouted, "84 years." it said to the girl. Poor Tara couldn't believe it. it had only felt like 5 minutes had passed; how could she have been in there for 84 years? "Come back to Space. Play every day on that golden violin for me for 7 years, and I will let you out as close to your timeline as possible." the whisper assured her. 7 years later... Now 19-year-old Tara was playing her last song. over the years, she and the whisper had become good friends. "Goodbye, Tara!" You have been such a good friend to me." it said. suddenly, the violin turned into a golden dragon and surrounded Tara. "Will I ever hear from you again?" she asked. "of course you will," it said. Tara returned to her time, still young and still the same girl that had disappeared, "I'm in here!" she shouted. The students rushed over. Even though she got detention, she was back. 13 years later... Tara was now 25 years old and still hadn't heard from the little whisper she had heard all those years ago. Although she now had a family of her own, she still never found out what happened to it. that night, after supper, Tara was tucking her children into bed. "Goodnight, Mama." she heard her daughter say. "Good night," Tara whispered, closing the door behind her. She realized that the voice that entire time... It was hers! Guiding her through the terrible time.

  • Written for song number four- Fear Not, by Efisio Cross The scraping of my dragging feet echoed through the now-silent fortress, boots meeting old metal steps as I slowly ascended the endless staircases. The sounds of the battle still raged through my head, me and the last few members of my battalion suiting up to buy enough time for the last shuttle to evacuate. I loaded my rifle, slung it over my shoulder, and checked my sidearm. Anything. Anything to stop me from looking back one more time. I didn't think I could bear to see those vibrant green eyes again, staring out the window at the man who was about to subject her to a parentless life. It was better than no life at all. At least that's what I told myself. I walked to my most faithful companion, the enormous steel exoskeleton that I piloted. My Valkyrie. I sighed and clicked the button on my wrist, the chest opening with a hiss, as if I were disturbing an ancient beast's rest. I leapt inside and grabbed the machine gun the size of a school bus. Heh, a school bus. Something I would always meet my daughter at as she would leap off and jump into my arms. My heart panged again as I thought of my daughter, and against my better judgement, I turned around. There she was, her small, precious face staring at me through the window with those two shimmering, emerald-green eyes. Those few seconds lasted an eternity, as she looked at the father who could only hope she would understand. My heart sank lower than I ever thought it could as I turned away, resolute. "I'm sorry," I whispered. I gripped the control handles of the Valkyrie, hefted the gun, and slowly began marching out of the hangar, where more and more panicked civilians were entering, trying to get onto the shuttles. Five strong we stood at the entrance to the hangar, at the ready as the hordes descended upon us. Our heavy machine guns tore holes through the faceless army, and when those ran out of ammunition, we drew the great swords from our backs. When those shattered, we used our hands. When the mechs failed, we ejected, raining bullets upon them all the while. The world dissolved into bloodshed, the five of us standing our ground as the last defenders. We withstood, even as five became four, four became three, three became two, and two, at last, became only me. We had cut them down, the ground before me lay a mass of blood and squirming bodies. Down to my sidearm, I fired off, keeping the last few that dared attack at bay. Blood lay pooled at my feet, from who knew how many shots I had taken. The first one had hurt, the second one less so, until I barely felt the pain. At the end of the eternity, my final shot rang out, catching the last enemy in the chest and sending them to the ground. They would regroup, and attack again. I wasn't foolish enough to think we had won this battle. But we had forced them back for a short while at least. And that was all we needed. I had long since lost feeling in my legs as I reached the top of the fortress. Riddled with so many bullets, it was a wonder my torso hadn't fallen apart into several pieces. I sat down, leaning against a support as explosions thundered to life beneath me, and the floor began opening up a couple hundred yards away. They had finally gotten the last civilian on board. They'd be heading to the nearest friendly planet, where with luck, my daughter would be adopted by a good family. The bright white nose of the first shuttle erupted out of the open hatch. I scanned each window as best I could through blurring vision, but did not see her eyes. I reached into my shirt and pulled out half a necklace, holding it up with the last of my strength. The second shuttle flew past, then the third. The fourth and fifth followed shortly. Just as I almost gave up hope, the sixth shuttle emerged, and with it I caught the eyes I knew. I stared up for the last time at her, and brought the necklace to my blood-soaked lips. I saw her move in the window, for the briefest of seconds, and bring up her half of the necklace that once belonged to her mother. She kissed it too, with tears spilling unrestrained out of her eyes. With more strength than it had ever cost me before, I smiled, and then she was gone. Gone to the stars, for a better life than here. I clutched the necklace to my chest as the last couple shuttles emerged. I only sat against my pillar, smiling out as the regrouped army charged over the hill. I merely smiled, content as the last rays of the sun drifted over me before it slipped behind the horizon. "Goodbye, little one," I whispered. "May the stars give you strength." My eyes drifted closed.

    • @Shawn Jones My fate has nothing to do with this war. This war is politics. And of course, the elections went as the American people predicted the political parties would claim and the outcome was adjusted. Now you gonna come at me, do it with honesty or don't bother at all. Other than that, have fun boys and girls!

  • Sometimes people forgot about the pains of life. That is, they forgot that they weren't alone in their pain. They go on day after day, thinking that only they are secretly suffering under some unseen burden. All around them people wear happy faces like a theater mask strapped over their controlled expressions. Smiles stretched over seemingly perfect faces. They go by, ignoring all the darkness and pain that dwells in their own minds. Yet they never consider opening up and revealing that deep vulnerability, in fear that it will be turned against them. That greatest weakness that provides the perfect opening to stab their unguarded heart. They're already too shattered for that. They can't risk being broken any further. So they go on, forcing the happy smiles and easy laughter. They continue to put on the presence of enjoyment and liveliness, not realizing that all they touch are bent under a similar darkness. Clouds roil in the churning above, streaks of white hot lightning branding the sky. Heavy rain drops beat against the ground in fury, washing away the crimson stains. Cracks splinter in the walls that hold the tempest, threatening to allow all to surge forward in an uncontrollable wave of emotion. But the lid remains tightly sealed over the small jar. The waters begin to rise, muddy and brown with the grime. Swirls of scarlet drift lazily through the surging waves, capped with white foam. The booming laughter of the thunder echos through the air, mocking the pain. Yet it all remains so perfectly bottled up inside the jar. Hidden in the deepest corner of one's heart so that none can find it. But that doesn't keep the water from beginning to pool under the bottle, leaking from the precarious cracks webbing the jar. It drips down the dusty shelf, threatening to burst and unleash the squall inside. But if that jar busts, they'll be seen as weak and incapable. Nothing more than a wounded animal. Something to be pitied. Worse yet, some will take advantage of that moment of weakness. They'll grasp it in their ruthless fists and crush their already shattered heart. That will leave the vulnerable nothing more than a pile of dust to be carried away and scattered by the gentle breeze. Children will go on laughing, not realizing that the very air that tussles their hair has also carried the remains of the weak. Vulnerable doesn't cut it in this brutal world, disguised with its pretty appearance. Yet the very nature of the world is like that of a serpent, ready to strike and deploy its lethal venom. That's why the raging tempest must remain inside its tiny bottle, unable to be released. We run about frantically, trying to mop up the leaks and drain the excess water into more bottles. Soon, our shelves are filled with the grimy jars, all leaking. It leaves us on our knees, head in hands, knowing our time has come. We are soon to be carried away by the winds because the exhaustion has claimed us. there is nothing more we can do to fight, and what are the chances that one will offer a kindly hand? Practically none. Why would any burden themselves with helping to clean a mess that isn't their own? They already have enough to struggle with, so they don't need another drop to add to the already extensive collection of jars. Why help someone who's already broken? Broken things can never be fixed, so there's no point in trying. This is a little description I came up with to express dark, suppressed emotions. We go through our lives trying to pretend like everything is fine. We post pictures of our seemingly perfect lives to hide the pain we hide inside. We don't want to reveal that deep pain. We don't want people to see our weakness. So we fight against our own emotions, wondering what's wrong with us. Why do we have to feel? But it's normal and natural. It's something we all face. The desperate hopelessness. The feelings of inadequacy. It's so consuming and exhausting. But we get ourselves caught up in this mindset of no one caring. We convince ourselves that we can't be vulnerable because people will only use that to hurt us. But sometimes, we need to be vulnerable. You can't keep up with the leaking jars, so don't let the pressure build to breaking point. It's hard. It's so hard. But hard isn't impossible.

  • Omg!!! Does anyone ever press pause of stop when a particular music is too beautiful and so touching that your emotions start giving you physical reactions? You relax for few seconds and press play again? or look an image so beautiful that, you feel you cannot stand your emotions. You turn your gaze away, then come back to stare again?
