It’s actually insane that Lana has not one a single grammy. I get that she doesn’t need that validation but some of her albums are literally masterpieces that paved the way for alternative artists.
So true! She has several albums that are truly art. So are Grammy wins based on the artists’ popularity or the art itself

I don’t really listen to TS and I love LD but you have to actually get songs played and sold to get accolades. Lots of people don’t even know a single LD song. Like I said I am a fan but she is just not super popular, this has nothing to do with how talented she is.
It's not that they are not good, it's that it's always a competition. You need to be the best of a bunch of competitors.
Grammy's, what do you have against Lana like seriously. All these big artists always saying how Lana impacted the music industry and literally paved the road for so many alternative artists and you don't think she deserves one at least one award. It feels like you're are actively trying to go out of your way to not give Lana a Grammy at this point.

It’s like this- these singers and their teams have to ‘bribe’ the voters. That’s it. With Taylor Switt’s money and influence and the fact that she’s a cookie cutter white female who doesn’t really stand for anything, she gets the popular vote. That’s it. Grammys don’t even matter.

Supposedly, they have warned all the nominees before the show about Celine's condition and told them to not touch her. Taylor didn't expect to win at all (that's why she announced her new album at the first award she won and didn't wait for the Album of the Year category) so she wasn't prepared beforehand for what to do when she wins, she was too overwhelmed and you can see her teary eyes when she was handed the award by Celine and didn't know what to do. They took photos together backstage with Taylor hugging Celine, and Celine posted the photos and Taylor commented 13 hearts (Taylor's favorite number) on Celine's post. Also, Taylor was singing and dancing to The Power of Love when they played the song when Celine came to the stage before announcing the winner!

I'm not even a Taylor fan, but she was right when she said Lana is a Legacy artist. She may not have a Grammy, but the two or three winners that shouted Lana out during their speeches says way more when you have respect from the "top artists in the industry" at the moment, than a trophy. Lana will be on "Albums You Must Hear" lists for decades, and even rolled onto stage to perform when she is 80 just like they did Joni Mitchell at the ceremony.... which I felt Lana was robbed by not getting to perform with Joni knowing she's a huge influence on Lana. That would have been an award show historic moment for me...
The biggest snub of the night was Taylor not even acknowledging Queen Celine. Celine Dion comes out of hiding after being diagnosed with Still Person Syndrome and you can't even acknowledge her? And who says Taylor is full of manners? This was the rudest thing I've ever seen in my life. And NO I don't care that they were hugging backstage. This was a complete lack of respect.

Sorry, but I was really really truly pissed off looking at how she mistreated Celine, Celine didn't deserve such rudeness and disrespect (especially from someone people idolized and looked up to as what we thought was the nicest and sweetest and most respectful idol but we were wrong and we were fooled), but Celine kept her elegance and gracefulness, what a classy lady Celine is, I love her more for that, how she took this situation. Taylor? sadly, she's the one who brought shame to herself and ruined her own image by unveiling her mask and showed her true color. The world has been fooled. I'm done idolizing her, how could you continue to admire such a horrific act she displayed. I can't even afford to listen to her songs anymore or watch any of her videos without remembering this moment of mistreatment she did to Celine. I'm saying all these because that's how upset I am with the disrespect, and the more I read people defending Taylor's rudeness, the more it makes me upset why people can't realize how bad it was to ignore someone like they don't matter or exist especially if that person is sick but went there to give the honor of handing you the award. I'm just totally pissed of Taylor, the more I re watch the video and the more her staff cover up and defend such bad attitude, the more I want to make them realized what they are supporting is narcissism and shouldn't continue, that attitude has to stop, not to be supported, or young people will follow, and the world will be full of egoistic people and rudeness and disrespect. I'm done with Taylor. I unsubscribed and unfollowed her. I unliked every video I liked before. I love Celine Dion more. And Taylor forget that Celine fans exist, and that she can't just ditched our Celine just like that without hearing a reaction from her fans. Big mistake Taylor, big big mistake. By putting other artist like Celine down, Taylor has created her own downfall.
