I don’t know if I could do what he did. Go back to a place that I wanted so much, then got, then had ripped from me. Granted, it’s a different studio and a different host, but the hurt would still swell. Conan was so at ease with himself and gracious with Jimmy. It’s one thing to be there again, it’s another to show such grace. He’s the ultimate Gen X standard bearer. A dream not fulfilled, but he was a dream nonetheless.
