    • Yes, and no. Jerry's humor is based on that. He knows the thing he's doing. He is very near a billionare. It's OK. The ones of us that know a good life is that that is based on love of one another....know and recognize that 'hate' doesn't play a part. And Jerry knows it, too. I know, it's his shtick. At this point in his life...hate isn't there.

    • What makes it not work, though, is a terrible interviewer awkwardly tripping over his interaction with Seinfeld, and Seinfeld just rambles on with a series of lame jokes he hopes will make his next standup act more appealing. (Look at the standup "jokes" that were used in the early episodes of the "Seinfeld" sitcom. Truly gag-worthy. But then the talented cast members came on, and the show actually became funny.)

      @surfwriter8461@surfwriter8461Ай бұрын
    • @@surfwriter8461It’s an “inside” joke. Seinfeld the show, won an undeserved reputation of being about nothing. This notion was born out of an article back in the early 90’s when a reporter stated in his review that it was a show about nothing. The show took that comment and made it an even greater joke. They even incorporated it into some episodes. I think the genius of Larry David made something kind of unprecedented because back then people were used to watching shows where the topic was clearly stated even in the title of each episode. Also most shows had story A(main story) and story B(secondary and a more frivolous story). On the other hand, Larry said, I want to keep it simple and no morals. I don’t want to have morals at the end of every episode. That’s why people might get a feeling at the end like: “I can’t pin point exactly what it was about. It was funny but it was kind of about nothing.”
