Simon never lied though to contestants like some of the judges and it's a pity that some of those horrendous contestants didn't have family who stopped them from making a fool out of themselves, stopped them from being so dellusional but instead they supported the dellusions and were clearly dellusional themselves if they thought their loved one had talent. Maybe Simon laughed too much at times and did say things he shouldn't have but can you imagine being in his seat seeing/hearing the crap he does from contestants and their supporter's, the frustration and annoyance must be brutal. People have gone on these singing shows supported by family and friends and they could sing so I don't blame the show for crushing their dreams, I blame the person and their supporter's for feeding the delusions. Everyone knows what happens on these shows so no one is forced to audition so people take responsibility for their own actions. I deal with people with MH issues and certainly wouldn't let them anywhere near a reality show because it's ok made up reality. But it seems we now have a generation who think reality shows, or social media icons is a profession- it's ridiculous and it's supported by family and friends. It's gone mad so don't blame other people if you can't handle the truth
Christina Grimmie is the one death on this list that truly shook me. She was so cute and sweet and talented. We lost her way too soon. All these deaths were sad, no doubt, but the loss of Christina truly hurt me. 😢

The Dr. Brandon Rogers. I loved him. I read the story of his car accident and couldn’t believe it. His voice was awesome but even more was the fact that you could just tell that he was a very sweet humble person. I wish so much that this had not happened to him. So sorry to his whole family
I've actually seen Ariel Burdett's audition. My jaw dropped when I saw her on this countdown :( Edit: I've also heard of Christina Grimmie, her voice gives me chills. I was torn to hear that she was murdered.. She could've been the face of this generation. Rest In Paradise to everyone that passed on.
Particularly touch by Dr. Brandon who was so tragically taken... and at such a young age. His tremendous talents were sadly aborted. Thanks to his family for allowing us, the world, to witness and enjoy what he had to offer. RIP. Condolence to his family.❤❤❤ 😑😔☹😥
What was the cause of his death?
Let's be honest here, death is terrible and tragic, but we can't blame people for these tragic deaths, and their mental health issues were something that had gotten out of hand long before they appeared on these shows. We have to stop blaming others for issues that started long ago and that parents and or other family members had not helped to do anything with.

Simon has completely changed since he had his son. He’s not nasty like he use to be. He also would never be seen crying during an audition before his son was born, now I’ve seen him cry for numerous acts.

I was sad to hear about the car accident that stole away Dr. Brandon. He was so talented. I wasn't familiar with him before his appearance. However, I had known of Christina's music from her KZhead channel zeldaxlove64. I had subscribed a long time ago. And to this day I still go and listen to her there. The world definitely dimmed when her light went out 😪 She is missed.

Why do we insult and laugh at those that suffer from mental health issues, is it out of fear that someone will see our issues? Truly believe 90% of us have suffered with mental health issues at one time or another in our lives. Depression is a mental health issue which we go through when we have a loss of a loved one, a pet, losing a job, being sick, etc. Lets be more kind, understanding towards others, the world would be a better place.

Reality shows do not cause mental health. People have mental health and audition for these shows. It is unfortunate but the shows are not to blame.

I had a very hard time learning about the shooting and death of Christina Grimme. I followed her KZhead channel and was shocked that she didn’t win the voice. I watched and cried during her live memorial. It is just a shame with all the gun violence. I think of Christina all the time and miss her.

My friend Dave Lockhart was on Canadian Idol season 2. He only went through two rounds tho. He was murdered by another friend😭 my boy could singgggg tho. I still listen to him all the time. They played him at his funeral, HE SANG FOR HIS OWN FUNERAL. 😭

Suicide is ALWAYS a sad tragedy. It is also 100% preventable. There is nothing in the world today that affirms to people that they are not alone, and that it’s completely okay to share their mental and emotional pains. Sadly, most of the time, the people who suffer the most with depression show absolutely no symptoms. So we have to be careful and try to uplift and encourage others every day.

@@shelly78able And? Since *I* have gone through this with friends and battling depression myself, i think it makes perfect sense. It is preventable. If and when people can start offering more hope and showing more love to their friends, some of them might open up and share some of their pain, it can start a healing process or at least offer hope. And THAT can help to change someone’s mind about wanting to take their life. Exactly WHAT part of that do you not understand?

Dear Christina Grimmie.... that death still tears me up. Followed her on here, and instantly fell in love with her voice. I think adele was the first cover i heard/seen, and that was also first time i heard of adele lol.... will never forget that she was shot around the same time the huge shooting took place at the pulse in Orlando! That was the 1 magazine i bought because it covered both.... they (grimmie and the pulse victims and their families) will never be forgotten!

He Was Safer There Focusing On Music Than GOing Back To Rehab Which Was A Reminder For Him, But They Just Gave Him Some Money To Go There Instead. Pharrel Never Even Offered His Condolences. I've Met People Who Were On That Season With Him, And They Were Absolutely Heartbroken Over His Passing. They Still Have Songs Of His That He Shared With Them. He Would Have Been A True Icon.

Ariel actually did demonstrate a wonderful variety of singing styles. And she did it in such a short vocal run. It was very impressive. And yes, those idiot judges were too stupid to recognize that. Also, I think poor Ariel might have been enticed into some occult activity which can only bring negative results. RIP.
