Molly McCann, also known as Meatball Molly, is a mixed martial artist, currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In this open and honest interview, Molly shares stories from her turbulent childhood, including her mum's struggle with addiction. Her mum was able to recover from addiction, get qualifications and turn her life around - Molly shares the immesley positive impact this has had on her, being able to follow the positive behavior her mum illustrated.
Molly has won thirteen fights, to only five losses. Her work ethic is enhanced by journaling and positive thinking. She shares with Jake and Damina how journaling has helped her to become a better fighter, the mantra she tells herself every morning and how writing down vivid goals turns them into reality.
They discuss her fear of coming out at the age of 25, how to figure out who the good people are and the power of saying no."

  • As a match going blue myself, I've bumped into Molly a few times and, although I don't know her, she seems like a proper human being. So appreciative of what she's done for the city and all she continues to do. Very rare to get someone so successful who is so genuine. Brilliant podcast lads, thanks again 👍🏻

    • @@matrix35 In my humble opinion she is everyday trying to achieve greatness, Molly models hard work, resilience and tenacity. These are essential ingredients to achieve in life. Such a shame you harbour such negative perspectives and can't see the positive aspects of this incredible conversation. Place yourself in her early years world. Could you overcome?

  • Wow, I have listened to a lot of the High Performance podcasts now and they are very moving, and a great inspiration to all, I have been listening to people I recognised and sports stars, I work as a paramedic in the UK, and I would say that all people in the NHS work to a high performance and it would be great to hear from other people from other areas, not just sports stars or people in the public light, Having said that it won't stop me from listening, as I walk to work and back home I get two podcasts in per day, keep up the great work, it has helped me.

  • Title mma saved my life. Ufc almost killed me 😂😂 Molly grates on me and so does Paddy. Their both annoying and have gone from future superstars to cringe never will be's. I dont say that with hate its just the majority opinion. I know their dont care what anyone thinks and good on them for that and i actually wanted Paddy and Molly to win world titles but i cant watch them they so cringe and fake. Paddy has a huge youtube channel and their both have huge spomsorship from barstool so their set for life which makes me happy for them. Been a working class lad myself i really am proud of them and watching this podcast im loving it as Molly is been her real self and she should stay true to heself in the ufc aswell. Their copy Connor knob head Mcgregor . His walk his laugh even the things he says😂 they need to find their own characther their own punch lines. Be more like Chael n be a real O.G ❤
