Yeah,unfortunately this engine have big problems with distribution 🥲 my father he had one in 2006,the pinion gears from the distribution fell out
Handy hint for doing lower arm bushes. Get a plumbers torch or Oxy acetelene and heat up the bush inner until the rubber catches fire. Then just leave them outside to burn. The rubber will burn away to nothing. Saves hacking away and making a mess. You can just saw the bush outer and knock it out. I found it a lot easier, especially for bushes that have an inner, outer and intermediate metal sleeve.
We use Oxy if required!
V10 TDI is a very cool and unique engine. Very nice project!

Nice build guys love the way its looking and the sound. I'm running the same tyres on my 4x4 and in South Africa I've done very rough rocky terrain and very muddy crossings and I'm extremely happy with the tyres. Ni Chanel thanks for the entertainment
A V10 seems strange for an off road vehicle and that's why I love it even more. It's something Clarkson would do

Great project! How did you solve cross IC air connections? Did you swap the pressure sensors? Left turbo goes to right head, right turbo goes to left head when in original setup sides are separated. No issues?
Yes we made looms to swap MAP sensors around!
Absolute beast, love it! What are the rules and regs on metal bumpers? Thought they were banned along with bull bars?
Metal bumpers are allowed for Utility purposes, hence the winch!

I still love the V8 4.2 2004 Touareg It drives like a ship. Heavy, smooth, and powerful. Non of the newer Touaregs compare. Now that you have improved upon the technicalities, bring back the 2004 model to the market, equipped with all these neuschkeinten. It will outsell above all its competitors. And, please, we still want to keep driving the old Touaregs. We need spare parts for replacements. Make them available, please. Don't leave us to go scavenging. Help us enjoy owning the classics. We are willing to buy the parts to refurbish what we have. Help us pimp our ride.

I've been watching your project build since day 1. I have a v8 with the mid and rear locker. Anyway, you could help me source the front locker? I live in the states and that option was available here. Also I'm curious if your v10 has the front locker with the discounting sway bars
The front locker was something that no one had I don't think, we had plan to retrofit a rear diff in the front but I've never felt the need for it. I have an idea for disconnect sway bars as it's not an easy retrofit of the factory stuff!
Just looked on my club touareg and saw that a company based here in the states has made a front locker now. Harrop engineering is the companies name. I've emailed them to see if this is true

I really wanna know how much power and torque these guys can get from that spectacular engine if they really tried 🤣
Not sure about the power, but I've heard of people tuning these cars out to around 1100 to 1200 Nuetons of torque, one claim was they could get the front wheels off the ground accelerating.

Hi I’ve got a Touareg albeit only a v6 tdi. Just fitted the swirl flap delete from you guys and tempted to do a few more little mods and a map, but it’s on 240k now. Do you think it’s playing with fire to get it mapped?

Except the "cat" removal was deepy eff removal correct? Getting my aircon and AFS/Ride height issues sorted first and will order my pipes and eegy arr delete soon after.

Fantastic!!!! How did you get the AdBlue system to work or "ignore" after putting on that exhaust and (i assume) getting rid of the AdBlue injector and DPS ???

It's an old engine. It has a lot of torque! 1000nm+

The Nissan Y62 is more suited to those stunts. Wonder how long those finicky VW products last with such abuse.... not even designed for that in the first place...but a very spirited effort though.

Its a W12 Engine Not a V12
It's a V10 diesel in this car. They also made a V12 Diesel in a Q7. There are no 'W' diesels

@@kredone1 шноркель повёрнутый в зону самого сильного разряжения, массу авто никто не убрал, неподресоренная масса с такими колёсами возрасла очень сильно, системы охлаждения выведена в самую опасную зону (ветки, брёвна ещё какая-то хрень), в общем для шоу, не более.
