boardzy got so weak that he can‘t even properly hold a light magnesium mouse 0:02😢 let‘s hope for a quick recovery🙏🏿🙏🏿
I am shocked and haven’t even watched the video yet
now thats (*SHOCKING*)
Lmao i feel completely different, i used glass feet for abt a year. Then tried corepadz ptfe feet and legit had negative aim. Switched back to my "worn out" glass ones and could finally aim again. The feeling of the glass once you get used to it is so much better than any ptfe feet. Ptfe has so much drag no matter what company i try
I think that I have similar sentiments. The only time ive really felt glass skates aided me a bit was with my deathadder v3 ngl. With every other mouse that I've used glass skates on I didnt particularly find the experience better than with PTFE. So in general for all my other mice I'm currently just using PTFE feet.
Thank you for your info on this! I thought about trying these but the price held me back. I have a Micro Center near me and thought about getting these instead of waiting on my PTFE ones to arrive but looks like they're not worth the money.
I had superglide for V2 pro but it gets very muddy very quick so I switched back to PTFE but idk why it felt weird so I used PTFE with superglide. Top and middle is PTFE and the bottom is superglide worked for me.
Good day Boardzy and fellow viewer of his, i have a question, i am currently using a gprox superlight with tiger ice on and a cloth unbranded pad, i want to try changing things up, the choices are sticking with current mousefeet and getting a logtech g440 hardpad as my cloth pad gets dirty very easily because i live in a humid country, or sticking to cloth pad and getting the tiger arc glass skates Thanks before 🙏
Hey boardzy mind reviewing pads from padsmith ?? Also i heard theyre making new glass pad i think its called empress ??
I have the old superglide skates for razer v2 pro the green ones and im happy with them a lot but im gonna have them on for almost a year now. How long u think i should have them on until trying the new ones or buying new ones ?
@boardzy Jade Obsidian or Superglides which is Faster?
Looking forward to the full review of the pwnage stormbreaker
Boardzy please help with the best skates for a gprosuperlight and artisan Hien combo. Please respond
i tried glass skates on my roccat kone pro and when i bought my deathadder v3 the stock skates felt amazing and theyve been holding up for a while now deffo sticking to ptfe glass skated ware too quick for me and feel less consistent
I got some pulsar skates for my razer viper ultimate and have a srider mouse pad and they are butter, i oove them so much and after half a year i have noticed no changes to the skate feeling
BTL glass skates + Wuxiang II Pro Mouse Pad = dream combo (using a moded G305 72 grams)
i want to change my deathadder v3 wired skates, on my lgg venus they feel terrible. What should I get? thinking about glass skates.
should i cop the tiger glass skates or oulsar superglides? thoughts? @boardzy
had lethal glass skates v2 for a couple months and they mudded up so hard that it felt terribly slow even on my hien but it is worth noting i live in a humid ass area
What is the grip tape on the buttons on your pink GPX?
Glass skates .. You have to clean your mouse pad and the skates regularly, I use isopropyl alcohol where my hand is rubbing any part of the pad. Otherwise my preference which is super sliding are my PVC aluminum core pads. Even those need glass cleaner on occasion.
Is it worth getting aftermarket PTFE skates these days? In the past I've used tiger ice but if I were to order a new DAV3 would it make a difference to swap out the stock skates for ice v2s?
yes do it, its maybe just a bit more, but i feel like they dont wear down as fast, and feel a lil faster, also u have to change your skates every now and then, i tend to do this 1-2 times per year, but given the pricepoint its not that big of a deal.. i ordered superglides, i wanna know how fast they get muddy, and i have to swap my ptfe anyway, when they muddy im back to ptfe, still wanna check it out tho
@@oleric3309how fast did they wear out in the end i'm having the same thoughts? and if they did wear out did they go slower than ptfe or still faster even when worn?
When is the Endgame EM-C vid coming?
I did only glass last year now ptfe only and my gaming performance has improved
How good are the stock skates on the gpw?
this was truly one of the shocking videos of all time
I'm really happy with my ajazz aj199 (got jade dot skates) to the point where I'm retiring my pulsar v2 mini. may throw some glass skates on it because why not if I'm not going to be using it as my main. never getting a glass mousepad
Should I get glass skates or a glass mousepad? Im tired of have such a friction combo with the HK Gaming Sirius M and a random slow $20 mousepad and I either want glass skates or a glass pad. Thanks! (Also Im going to get the gpx 2 or the deathadder v3 pro depending on how good the gpx2 is going to be)
glasspad, i ordered the skates tho, but just to know if i like the feeling of glass..
in my opinion of glass skates, i'm using pulsar x2 with superglide and play apex legends, actually for me it feels better to hold the recoil but for daily like editing and such that's a bad idea, i try using this glass skates to edit a pamphlet the cursor went crazy it moved so much
I see you rocking that sweet MPC450-SE, how do you like this one compared to the original one :) ? Picked up a brand new DAV 3 pro for 89$ so I might buy this pad next and finally complete my first seal of approval shockingly BASED combo.
That's EGG EM-C
Yeah I just realized and feel like a total idiot rn lmao, still interested in buying the mpc tho.
What is that notch thing that he stick to the button and the side of the mouse ?
I don't understand how glass skates can wear down when they are infinitely harder than the cloth that the mousepad is made of
Scratching
They dont you just get used to the new glide feeling therefore you might think they are worn-out because now you can control it much better
glass is ok play it on hardpad?
Would these glass skates Damage a desk without a mouse pad? It is a wood desktop. And I am only using it for general mouse lol I play on controller. I’m just trying to avoid having a mouse pad on my new desk.
I used plastic on wood table for years for gaming just smooths the surface and the plastic wears out after a while
couldn't stand glass skates when i tried them. really liking the sapphire skates from lamzu atm though
i heard on the 4etech channel, that the difference in lift off distance can also cause issues with tracking.
Can you try X-ray pad obsidians
I suggest using a hard mat if you go with glass feet.
Tried glass and went back to PTFE too. Do people hate Cordura so much that they'd rather spend a mousepad price in skates? Cordura + A Sleeve got me the light and consistent initial friction I was looking for
Cordura is shockingly goated
i have an mpc450 cordura pad. was fast at launch. slowed down after a while. surface got damaged. might have been due to not cleaning the mousepad for a whilr
@@ACE112ACE112 unlikely? mby u used non rounded skates, which didnt dmg my Qck tho
I don’t know about slowing down cordurapad as mine hasn’t done that (yet). I love my Pulsar paraspeed v2 cordura as I feel like it helped me get vertical overcorrections to a minimum (Either with OEM PTFE of ESPTiger and with Atlantis Mini/ M42 RGB although the paraspeed could use a cleaning this weekend)
@@ACE112ACE112Same over here. My MP511 slowed down a bit over the course of a year. It's only really noticeable when the weather is humid tho. At midnight, it's still blazingly fast.
What about ceramic mouse feet though????
My A4tech mouse have metal feet and i can only say that after 3 years of heavy use they look exacly as out of the box.
Jet with glass skates is the best experience I’ve found. Beats the hell out of glass pads imo. I think Boardzy would appreciate what Fnatic has done, very unique.
wait, the ''fnatic Jet" yes? How long was your delivery? mine feels like it's taking almost 2 weeks and its haven't arrived yet. I heard great things about it, but I'm a little worried the pad is maybe coated or the fabric could wear down overtime like any other fabric pad, hopefully the Jet can last long like glass pads.
@@emini6 Yeah that’s the pad I have. Got it from Amazon in 3 days. It is indeed coated, just as fast as glass but smoother. No texture at all, mouse is floating. As to lifespan, who knows but it’s much cheaper than glass so either way I’m very happy.
@@24KCI ordered mine from fnatic website kinda knew its gonna be a bit slow to Canada, but tracking now says its out of Netherlands, maybe by air or sea? I'm going to take extra care of it since its coated like the vancer ace, I'm only going to use ptfe skates. However I like to know from others; how is it with glass skates?
@@24KC yo quick update I got mine two days ago big xl size, you are right the jet is laminated not coated. It's pretty fast like glass without the hassle glass cleaning like my bro's skypad(3.0), however it shows fingerprints easily so it needs to be wipe often with the included microfiber cloth, might somewhat recommend an arm sleeve and a hand sleeve, but it's also fine with hair.
That sounds interesting. A few months ago I bought and then returned a razer glass mousepad because I didn't like how fragile it was but this looks even better while having a cloth rather than a hard fragile pad.
I'm waiting for glass G703 skates to arrive. I thought of getting them straight away to trick out the mouse, but realised they'd be excessive spending and probably a bit weird. Now I'm gonna try them to see if they make the mouse "feel" less heavy, which I realise won't be the case as such but I want to see if they make a relatively heavy mouse easier to push around.
Update? My g703 on Tiger Ice skates and Artisan Raiden pad feels way lighter than stock feet and a control pad, more like a 70g mouse than 97. I pick up my mouse a lot for fast movement so I'm still praying for a g703 superlight...
@@jlee707 It definitely goes around easier. I can still feel the weight though. Also makes it a bit weird using it as a comfort mouse for browsing when it wants to slide around every time I click something. Even so, I definitely prefer it. The blue skates just look nice too!
thx@@dMGraymusic
5:20 mpx450 from endgame gear?
please glass skates 2023 tier list 🙏
Tried pulsar skates on my g703 light speed and I haven’t felt better
I tried glass skates for about 2 months and actually saw a decrease in my aiming consistency, it’s very hard to get used to the feel of them. I switched back to PTFE and am feeling much better. I think the main problem with glass skates is they have literally 0 control.
main problem they lack stop power same thing with glass pads / strider etc
@@friendsRfor773that's not lack of stoping power it's pure skill issue
just use ceramic skates 4head
@@redlimus riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight by ur logic 99% of pros lack skill huh u genius
@@friendsRfor773 99% of pros dont know much about devices lmao
I think glass skate good if you push down alot on ur pad glass will last longer
When ZA 13 Wireless?
got tired of glass wearing out all the time and got the lamzu sapphire skates. best skates ive tried by far. just sucks theyre only available for lamzu.
You can get infinity sapphire dot skates that are universal for other mice if interested
I have some cheap sapphire dots, they definitely felt slower than glass but seems to be holding onto their consistency better. Ordered some sapphire skates for the lamzu also, hoping it will be even better.
They said a while back if they became popular they’d make them for other mice, but I don’t know if that will ever happen. I guess at the moment they are focused on their mice instead.
Problem is LAMZU isn't saphire. It's resin/ epoxy xD
if i have the g pro wireless with plenty of life left on it, is it still worth it to upgrade to get the g pro x superlight?
If u like the shape or color more if not then your good
@@Tox1chad its literally 20 grams lighter....
@@withadraco if weight affects you then sure. Most all mice with good build quality play similar to me I usually go for what ever suits my grip and comfort best. Right now I’m digging the vaxee xe wireless and ec2cw I got a dav3 w/4k as well as a few others I always go back to those two though. In my opinion the pulsar x2 medium feels a lot like a super light and I enjoy it just as much or more with it being usb c I can change dongles to it to another mouse much quicker as to I only have 2 old USB a mice.
Wait i have a stock superlight and a glorious xll mousepad. i want to feel less drag. should i but a couple of class skates or not? idk anymore and does a dirty mousepad make a difference?
Glass skates feel really awesome the first few days, then they get slower and slower. Dirty mousepad definitely makes a difference, try clean it, you can!
Expected to see "TalonGames" here too. Very informative short video anyway.
Talongame skates aren't very well known currently
I got TalonGames glass dots on my viper mini. Anyone else here?
The Btl glass skates feel the same good glide at first then it gets muddy after maybe 2 - 3 weeks.
Had same experience. They are unusable rn.
SAPPHIRE is looking good, feeling good on my LAMZU. More testing for sure though.
LAMZU isn't saphire, it's resin/ epoxy.
how is it holding up, did it become muddy after a while? are they as good as new glass skates?
glass skates degrade way too quickly, two pairs I had from superglide decreased by 50% in 3 weeks...
I was a doubter of boardzys wisdom and bought glas skates for my pulsar x2 mini. Not even a month later they were a bigger hassle than advantage. 20€ wasted and had to change sens (not only after swapping but while the Glas skates got slower and slower). The skates actually got more friction than the stock skates as I swapped back, just awful. Only thing I heard is that sapphire skates don't wear (pretty much at all) but after getting burned so hard im not ready to spend high end mouse pad money on what is under my mouse^^ Sorry for doubting king
His entire personality is that he owns mouses 💀
which one did you get, the V1 or V2 glass stakes? coz they are very different
Glass makes me wonder, what if you just grabbed a random window and used it like a glass pad?
won't track, the light just shines all the way through the glass. You need the surface treated so that the sensor can track.
don't use glass skates on cordura pad, it's fast but not smooth (like when you use stock PTFE with cloth pad), when you want to do microadjustment there's will a bit friction. i usually use glass skates on cloth speed type pad, it was fast and smooth, almost same feeling as using tiger ice on cordura pad 👌 i'm using tiger arc + fantech zero G (cordura) & fantech glass skates on sades speed type pad (cloth)
so what bout sopping power, can u get back to the old flicks like u did ion ptfe? and how fast are they getting muddy?
em-c review bro we need it
Just got it a few days ago, will cover it soon
@@boardzy and we need vaxee np01 wireless
TEST TALON GLASS SKATES
I bought a pair of the BTL glass skates from aliexpress for my DAV3.
Do you suggest buying it btl ?
@@3ned8 not sure honestly. It's my first pair of glass skates so I have nothing to compare it to. It was $15 or so.
I have had glass skates wear down different surfaced pads. Like the Vancer ACE edition. But only those types of pads. Honestly. It's also a lot harder to match glass skates to a pad I think for general consumers too than PTFE. I feel like PTFE is just more consistent. But hey at least we don't see Teflon anymore. *stares at Zowie*😂
they feel pretty different from pad to pad , i just refused to use mine on Vancer ice pad pink , because im scared that it scratches the pad or the skates xD
FYI, PTFE and Teflon mean the same thing, PTFE is an abbreviation of the chemical name Polytetrafluoroethylene while Teflon is just a trade name. I believe you're referring to impure ptfe when talking about "teflon". Idk man it bugged me a lil bit
@@zDennii it definitely will rough the skates a little. Learned that from experience lol
@waterbottler2761 That's okay, appropriate way to post how you felt about it too. :) Yes I was referring to impure skates. :)
I’m shocked guys
Glass skates are so inconsistent and after a year of use + having to replace every 3 or so months I finally bought a sky pad and switched back to ptfe and it is so much better
nice vid
I have never understood the glass skates. Give me corepadz or Tiger ice every day of the week.
should i use glass mouse skates on abrasive control mousepads
glass skates on ac2?
try darmoshark m3 4k
The Superglide V2s have some weird QC. 2 other people and I have the exact same issue in our reviews, where the superglides (even the dots) are just way too tuggy and dragging. But some others I've talked to said theirs is mad fast. So I'd personally just avoid em.
had no issues with 4 sets of v1 superglides but honestly ended up with the cryomods sapphire dots
My v2 have crazy static friction. Completely useless.
glass skates are just not worth it compared to actual glasspads, coated feet are just not gonna last and get too muddy, and they end up damaging mousepads as time goes on
yo you’re still here
try talon games
I really like the superglides for tracking but having to replace them every 2-3 months at £25 a go isn’t it. I also spoke to Pulsar this week and was told they stopped making them for the starlight-12, I assumed maybe they discontinued that one and would make them for the ULX as it launches soon but they also said they had no plans to make any for that either.
Same I am replacing them every month. Sometimes even faster. Because I extensively playing fps games with them. This is only solution sadly.
@@4KGamingZone yeah was about to say, 2-3 months?? i wish they lasted that long, more like 2-3 weeks for me. its so sad cus i really really love the first week or 2 of using them and then they just become trash and unplayable
I bought mouse glass skates and they got sticky and annoying
I went to glass skates because they didn't have a month shipping time for my mouse.
Glass skates are only good for like 2 weeks atleast in my experience, they get broken down easy and lose the glide. Glass mousepad on the other hand is a dream. Pulsar glass pads is my go to 👌🏾
Tbh the glass mousepads are wayy too overpriced, 60-70 dollars would still be a better price
dude made a mouse skate video 2 days after i spent like $60 on different skates lmfao
Ngl, glass skates are fine. But they aren't diverse. I put them on my superlight and never touched it again. I just think, its too difficult for games like CS. I want a mouse I can use for any game.
get sapphire skates, they are good for all games. but you need aw hard pad to use with it, any soft pad and it will just sink into the pad ( im using the dots so idk how they others feel) glass skates are the best shit i ever used ngl, i love brand new glass skates, i feel like i have 100% control over my aim and can make even the slightest adjustments on the fly. but then they break down in about a week or 2 and it just becomes worse than anything i ever tried
Just adding my personal insight as a high elo cs2 player : Glass skates are VERY VERY VERY bad. I've got the sweaty palms problem so its en worse. Slow spots are TERRIBLE. Went back to PTFE in 2 weeks, never trying glass again.
PTFE is just better lol
I'm not shocked by this video. Do better.
early
😮
The mousepad wear down def seems like schizoshit lol
ill just use the mousefeet for a month and return to amazon for a free refund 💀Thanks superglide 💀
you have to send back, right? seems like a hassle
