  • some faq answers! :) what's her name? - persephone! named after the greek goddess and inspired by lore olympus (a webtoon)! what's her breed? - she's an "experimental scottish fold" ...she was actually supposed to be a munchkin cat with folded ears, but those genes didn't carry over for her, so she looks like a normal cat! where did you get her? - from a breeder! i live in the usa and i bought her from a few states away which is why she arrived via the airport. it was completely safe, and she was totally fine!

  • Your love bug is biting and clawing at you because kittens do this to their litter mates when they are babies. It is Mommies job to teach them that you don't have claws or teeth, and to teach her to play gently. You do this by saying the word 'ouch' and pretend like your crying, whenever she bites, or claws. Also, when you tell her no, don't laugh...they equate it to you enjoying it. PLEASE never ever ever use a spray bottle, yell, or etc. at a cat. They do not understand why you are doing what you're doing, and just makes them not like you. Also, good to remember...(for others reading this), that adopting two kittens is MUCH easier to take care of, as opposed to one. Sounds silly, I know...but the two kittens actually keep each other company, play with one another, cuddle together, and then when they are tired...they only want to cuddle and purr with Mommy (you)!

  • I just found your video today because I’ve been watching a lot of ‘I adopted a kitten’ videos because I JUST adopted a kitten myself. He is the 5th cat I’ve had in 47 years but he’s also the first kitten I’ve had in 47 years. I was only 4/5 when I had my first kitten and the 3 cats I’ve had in between have been at least a year old when I brought them home. I totally feel your ‘she’s terrible’ because boy is this boy giving me a run for my money…lol Your Persephone is beautiful!!

  • She reminds me about my cat when he was a kitten. I miss him a lot he was grey affectionate calm but he could be grumpy if we annoyed him too much, I really missed him I had him for like 7 years :(

    • Cats are NOT nocturnal they are what is called crepuscular.. Which means they are most active at Dawn and Dusk.

  • My first very own kitten was also a grey/peach/white kitten. I had many cats and dogs/ fish/ birds and reptiles over these last 52 years. Oh yeah…I also was blessed with one good husband and 6 great children. Pets are important and brought all of us a lot of joy. Best of luck. Ps. Unless you have children to give attention two cats are best.

  • You need to do something about those boxes with those cords she could get caught up and hurt. Make sure any plants you have are not poisonous to cats. They like to eat greens like grass.

    • i actually just got her from my same country (usa), just from a few states away! she was bred to be a munchkin cat but the genes didn't carry over to her, so she's just a normal kitty! Her breed is technically called "experimental scottish fold" (the folded ear genes also didn't carry over) so she's basically a Scottish fold variant :)
