I adopted my Kitten a few weeks ago and tell you about a few things that I experienced so far. If you like my videos please let me know! :)
Ps. Henry is 3 months old!
Anti-scratch spray. It doesn't work for all cats but it does work for some, including my daughter's solid chocolate ragdoll. He's 4. She started using it when he was a kitten. He hasn't scratched the couch since but she lets him stretch and scratch on the backs of some inexpensive kitchen chairs. It lasts about 3 months.
You could try rewarding him with a treat whenever he uses the scratching pad and he'll eventually stop scratching the sofa :)
He's so freaking adorable ❤
Thank you 💕
Such an adorable kitty❤
Use 2- sided tape on areas they want to scratch. That, along with abundant scratching posts, is very effective. Also, any time you get a new piece of furniture, we've found it helps to introduce a new scratching item as well. Cats want their tribute 😂
Lol he just hangs from your computer chair 😆 I'm glad you are enjoying your time do far with little Henry and look forward to more of these :)
Yeah that was hilarious! 😂
he is ADORABLE.
Thank you ❤️
Henry is both an angel and a monster hahah so cute though !
He is indeed 🤣
I just got a ragdoll a couple days ago. She’s 3 months old. She’s the sweetest kitten, there’s no scratching on furniture or poo issues. The breeder recommended only dry food for the first few days to help harden poo if it was more runny. Unfortunately, she got an eye infection when she was still with the breeder. She’s now recovering from it, and hates getting eye drops, so claws do come out. Luckily it’s for only 3 more days. Also in the U.S they can range from $2,000-$3,000. Definitely budget!
Sir Henry ! Adorable !
Thank you!💖
My two rag dolls were different in what they scratch. Yes some kittens do have soft poos at first but they harden up. One way to get them use to scratching the scratch posts is get some cat nip spray and use it on the posts to attract maybe give some treats around the scratch post to make it positive
I hope with time the poop will harden up, cause even the vet couldn’t help with that!
Have you tried mixing some pumpkin in soft food that’s been known to help
My cat hates pumpkin taste and never eats it even if I mix it with her best treats 😊
I love ragdoll cats🥰
😻
what a sweet baby henry is 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you so much 😻
He’s active for like 10 seconds; chill otherwise, lol. He could really use a pal. Looks just like my Bailey. Love this breed❤️
I’m Australian, I just got a show line pedigree Ragdoll (all papers and dna testing + health testing including hereditary testing has been done and all vet work has been completed) they usually sell for $2500 AUD but I managed to score her at an incredible price of $1k AUD
Wow congrats!! The usual price is insane though. Hope you have an amazing time with your ragdoll 🥹
@@Sirhenrythecat thank you! We are so excited! She comes home on the 18th of May ☺️. I’m a vet nurse so she’ll definitely be well looked after. That usual price is standard for showlines in Australia unfortunately
My ragdoll kitten is like a puppy. Its hard to believe they're even cats. My other cat is a scottish or skittish fold as I call him. He hates touch n moves away when I try to touch him. Ragdoll on the other hand demand hugs and cuddles multiple times in the day n scolds me if I leave the room without telling her
I can imagine! I love how dog like they are. Mine is even playing fetch and bringing me the ball 😂
Here in the US, I paid $2500 usd for my blue mitted ragdoll. Yes, an expensive breed. Ragdoll females can get even bigger than males!!! Bengal cats are much more expensive though!
Omg!! That’s crazy. I didn’t know that the females getting bigger actually :)
Not necessarily about the females getting bigger it depends on the cat
subscribed to follow the journey!
Aw thank you so much!🐱
1:36 :D Wie Sie an deinem Stuhl hängt, wie ein Sloth :D :D
Haha er ist schon so ein sloth 😂
They are basically every kitten ever. But I never pay to save a kitten. Mine are all rescues and yours is a little baby. Don't worry he won't get big
Yes they are :) he will get big though, ragdolls can grow up to 8-10 kilos!
KZhead's closed captioning calls this a 'rectal' kitten. Lol. So cute.
Кот прекрасный ! Виски на заднем плане мне тоже понравился 😊
Spasibo! :)
I have a ragdoll and he has a sensitive belly. I think it’s common for the breed.
you got a long haired breed. toilet issues come with the territory. you need to trim the behind area as a matter of normal grooming.it's no biggie to be honest, if your kid had a bit of an accident you would instantly clean them up.no diiferent with pets.
I don't think there is any way you can stop him scratching sofa etc. Only suggestion is to have more small scratching posts.
Yeah I think I’m gonna get a couple more of those! 😆
@@Sirhenrythecat but he does have an adorability level that is off the scale.
They sell plastic clear sheet squares that stick onto your furniture but I haven’t tried them. We trim our cats nails often and have a rougher fabric on our sofa that kinda hides the clawed fibers unless you look close
@@chickenlips605 thank you, but he already stopped doing it! Very happy about that :)
It's not pretty but I get pieces of carpet and attach them to where my KITT KATT scratches
Thanks I will consider!
