    • Just make sure u add some resonators. The 3.0 can get raspy without them. It will sound crisp with some resonators and a nice flowing muffler when u delete the cats

  • Amazing bimmer man , V8 sound is awesome 😎. I'm thinking about to buy one of these , I found one 2006 sport with 50k miles on it for something around 11k bucks , what are the issues with this engine? Greetings from Brazil 😁

    • They dont have too many issues. Just make sure you do the timing chain tensioner every 20-25k miles. That way the chain guides wont be an iasue

    • Same thing every m60/m62 car has the same issues.

    • @@imSchwaggy These are way more annoying to work on. E39 is a better build chassis. With an E39 you never have to deal with the stripping front driveshaft, oil sump with a passthrough for the front right half-axle, annoying to remove stiffening plate. The door handles and window regulators on E53 are utter shit. All E53 has are decent cup holders.
