6:20 probably the scariest of Rob's chases. he missed the first swipe, but the confidence rate was so high that he took time to reevaluate where he was going already, like you can see the gears moving in his head.
Aint's sure about "scariest" but definitely a great showcase of his skills. Most other athletes would panic and just tail the evader after that miss. Not Rob - he knew that staying calm was a key and he just did exactly the right thing 👏

@@strixczCompletely agree. People take more notice of Seth and Jason because they’re a lot more aggressive, but Rob has an insanely high tag rate and evasion count. In my opinion he’s the most balanced player in the game.
I want to say Tempest needs more speed, but Apex is just... STACKED. Crazy deep roster, man. Crazy.

@@gokussjdevil5936 The main issue with this is that you need to balance speed and accuracy. Players like Hunter are so good not because they're fast, but because they're accurate. If you focus on speed, you're gonna miss a step and break your ankle or at least have a round-ending fall. All the players seem slow despite absolutely flying through the course in a relative sense. Although, any team in the league is gonna look slow when they're going against apex moon.
Damn. Tempest is a great team and Apex Moon made them look like rookies on the quad, they are just on another level! Congrats to Tempest for getting so far though, they are a great team!
Really true. Tempest has always been a strong competitor, but their gyms are lacking due to them being freerunning gyms and not chase tag gyms. If they had a location specifically for that, I really think they would be unstoppable.
They lost Seth and Jason, who were arguably 2 of the best in the whole circuit and are still this dominant, it's impressive.
Well, the thing with Apex A team is, there never really were any "weak links" 😆 So while both Seth and Jason were really dangerous - especially as chasers - Michael, Rob and Olof are still one of the best all-rounders in the game, and even their new guys obviously have been chosen after proving themselves during practice (with the best WCT athletes to date). So it may be their first competing but you can tell they are anything but rookies... 😉

You're underestimating Rob and Michael - they may not look so "scary" on the quad but they're both one of the best athletes in the game (with Olof right behind them). Frankly I'd be shocked if APM struggled to beat APS.

Anyone else think Hunter might get picked up by Apex? All he needs is some training in tactics and he could be the next Seth/Jason. He's nearly got their speed and scrambling ability
Personally I reckon Joe Unrah is just as good. Much better chaser as well.
He's great but I really hope to see a team able to beat Apex emerge someday - which won't ever happen if all the best athletes join them 😆 I can definitely see Hunter being on the team that beats Apex though! Not this season but maybe soon...🤞
@@Anubis_YT Joe doesn't have the speed and maneuverablility that Hunter does. Hunter is very clearly just a training and experience issue
@@sorin_markov that speed can get you out of a sticky situation, but at the top level of the game, WCT is all mental. I don’t think Hunter has enough foresight to be a top level chaser AND evader

That's a shame, i think Jason had the most explosive speed out of any athlete since Tavon. Tavon had immense potential he just didn't seem to take it seriously.
