Now, a 60,000 volt dual ignition coil powersource, which plays bluetooth music, is even better. I built a bluetooth linked ignition coil driver that was more capable than I planned it to be, and documented my journey. Links for circuit components below.

Imagine being an electron along on THIS ride. I've included links to most of the major components for this build, in the video description. Also - this location was RF shielded. After manual testing, when all doors were closed, no radio escaped or entered. It made using my cell phone with closed doors, nearly impossible. Do not attempt to create a spark gap radio yourself, as it can cause radio interference.
I need a BEAMDIC to ignite rockets while playing AC/DC
Lol Love the name B.E.A.M.D.I.C. ! I never realized Bluetooth was that easy to integrate into a build. Great Build looks like ima need to build one now :p
😱 I really appreciate your patience with both the Acrylic & the scrapyard search & locate. Bringing that project into fruition was a huge task to undertake. You did it and even got an A.M. radio broadcast. Ha I thought you were going to Rick roll us. Brilliant project Jay. Absolutely amazing watching that arc. 👍😀 from Wales U.K. 🏴
This video is incredible! I love the different editing style/comedy! You really knocked this one out of the park! Aaaand now I want to build a B.E.A.M.D.I.C. of my own… Thanks for the incredible content as always, Jay, it was well worth the wait!
First time i have seen something not shining and most perfect thing on this channel which was that radio. Really perfect he is.
Always excited to see a new video come out. I love plasma physics!
Nice, clean build! The Japanese do build some quality car parts for sure. Congrats on being able to quit your day job.
Great video Jay, always love the ignition coil projects! You know...if you crank up the 555 timers into the ultrasonic frequencies to eliminate background noise and feed the circuit 12V, this would actually work wonderfully for a certain music-compatible Tesla coil! Just saying ;)
I just arrived here from electro boom talking about your ionic wind video and was surprised to see your channel still producing beautiful videos at this rate and still taking to fans! Keep up the good work dude
Nice build!
Even your first videos were awesome, now they are getting better every time, that is called real progress ! Good job!
Thank you for such a detailed build video. I love them!
Hi Jay! Awesome job! I am actually working on a musical SSTC now and this video was helpful.
The fact that the FCC hasn't sued this guy 100 times over is the most impressive thing of all.
The entire reason why I became an automotive mechanic in the first place was because of the interesting ways Automotive Parts can be used with electrical fun. Honestly, As soon as I heard that you could rebuild an alternator to power a house I was hooked... I stopped being an apprentice Carpenter, and joined the Airforce to become a mechanic
I love the DBZ cameo. I love this build.
I thought this was a very cool circuit, I may try using a circuit similar to this in my musical SSTC. Keep up the great work!
Ahhh, 555. Good times, good times. The things one can build with you 555, Oh the memories.
Yay, great news full time video production finally I can start to binge watch your channel
