I love seeing the lioness carry the cute, little bundles of joy in their mouth! It amazes me how gentle & loving they are with their babies but cold blooded apex killers out on the plains.

Lions cubs are so good at entertaining themselves. They play with other cubs, play with a stick or elephant poop, or climb trees. Cubs are so energetic. Their mother must be exhausted.

Nice video. Gives great insight into the family aspect of this pride. I heard David mention that Kipuli's cubs survived the take over. Nothing short of miraculous. I hope he is safe and healthy, and his partners he recruited from this pride as well. I hope they are together. He did a good thing when it was his time with this pride. Instead of being selfish and putting out the male subs, he embraced them as brothers. It seems the good deed was returned to him through his young ones. Who says that nature is cruel? Not always.
