    • @@shaanvinoth9277 well if kong fought on skull island or maybe the hollow earth kong would probably have a higher chance of winning. The thing is in the water obviously godzilla would win but he's amphibious he can fight both on land and in water and despite kong using the buildings to his advantage godzilla had more experience fighting in giant cities which would probably contribute to why he won in hong kong anyway. Kong fans really have no right to complain about godzilla using his environment to his advantage when kong does the same thing in hong kong.

  • This shot of Godzilla at 3:32 kind of sent chills down my spine when I saw the movie on HBO max. One side of him is dark while the other is light. It’s like saying we’re not sure weather to think of Godzilla as the villain in the movie. This scene makes him seem like the villain, but there still must be a reason for why he is suddenly acting aggressive towards humans and Kong. The dark side is saying we should dislike Godzilla for all the destruction and deaths he’s caused, but the light side is saying that he’s only acting like this because something provoked him into it.

  • I'm not gonna lie. This is the only time in my years of watching a lot of the Godzilla films that I actually felt fear when Godzilla was on screen. Just that one shot of Godzilla rising out of the water and looking right at Kong gave me chills down my spine in the theater and still does. Then he basically looks right at us, the audience, it really felt like he was just going to jump out and blast me into oblivion. 😅

    • I love that shot of godzilla coming out the water not just because that cgi is.....just damn good for words 👏 so highly detailed but also because it's the first time godzilla in the monsterverse is actually intimidating. Yes he's still a anti hero but I LOVE it when anti heros are intimidating which is why venom and ghost rider work so well as anti heros. That death glare alone just implies *"If we met again you're dead consider this mercy"* I'm surprised kong looked more confused than scared.

      @Kaiju-bm4ts@Kaiju-bm4ts2 жыл бұрын
    • @@Kaiju-bm4ts Mee toooo! I'm really glad they decided to make Godzilla more of a threatening force of nature like he's supposed to be, I prefer my Godzilla to be like that anyway. He'll fight much more eviler opponents to keep the world in balance but isn't afraid to take on the good guys if he needs to. I was thinking the same thing. Well it's Kong we're talking here, he doesn't get scared that easily and I'd be confused too if a giant radioactive death lizard decided to attack me when I didn't even do anything wrong. 😌

      @treyrex5987@treyrex59872 жыл бұрын
    • @@treyrex5987 yeah i kinda noticed when godzilla attacks evil titans he's painted out and acts more heroic but when he attacks other protectors or alphas that are good he is painted out and acts more villainous despite his intentions not being that of a anti villain. Him being intimidating towards kong is equivalent to let's just say when venom saves someone and gives them a friendly smile but in actuality most of the time venom naturally looks creepy when he smiles. In both scenarios venom and godzilla aren't trying to kill anyone they are just being intimidating only difference is venom would be unintentionally creepy while godzilla is doing it on purpose.

  • Amazing without the background music. One thing I never understood is why did Godzilla attack Kong without even being provoked? If my memory serves me right he was sedated for most of the trip until Zilla arrived. Were they transporting Kong through his territory? Hopefully some of the more hardcore fans can fill me in on why he attacked in the first place.

    @CountryboyAR@CountryboyAR Жыл бұрын
    • Godzilla can sense whenever ANY titan moves outside of their territory since he commanded all of the earth's surface titans to sleep during the events of dominion. The gvk novelization goes into futhet depth by explaining from godzilla's perspective he sensed kong being transported off skull island. The movie stated the humans avoided godzilla's territorial routes but either forgot or just didn't have the common sense to realize he can sense any abnormal titan movement on the surface. Godzilla was already provoked by mechagodzilla but sensing a old rival like kong was a side mission for him but not his main objective.
