Now possessed by Ghidorah's consciousness, Mechagodzilla engages Godzilla in battle and quickly overwhelms him. Lind revives Kong by destroying the HEAV on his chest, and Jia convinces him to help Godzilla. As Mechagodzilla overpowers both Titans, Josh short-circuits Mechagodzilla's controls with Bernie's flask of liquor on its control panel, momentarily interrupting the mech. Godzilla charges Kong's axe with his atomic breath, allowing Kong to destroy Mechagodzilla. Madison, Bernie, and Josh reunite with Madison's father Mark, while Godzilla and Kong agree to a truce and go their separate ways.
Mechagodzilla was legitimately terrifying and posed a real ass threat. They did my boy with respect.

Something I really like about the 1v1 between Mecha and Godzilla is that during the beam clash, you can see Godzilla go from confused to genuinely scared.

For those who are complaining about Godzilla's HP being reset, it does not make sense for his HP to be completely red because neither he nor Kong died in the fight against MechaGodzilla. Furthermore, his HP was already low, thus when he falls to the ground at 3:31, he begins again with damage already applied.

If you have payed attention then you could clearly see that he was already at low health and seeing how he didn't die his healthbar started over with him already taking damage from the fall.
For poeple who think mecha godzilla is stronger than godzilla it is NOT true because if godzilla didint fight kong he would be more energetic because the fight with kong made him tired

The advantage that Mechagodzilla had over Godzilla were its thrusters and large arms. He literally beat Godzilla up the way humans do to each other, with punches, kicks and knees. So it makes sense that Kong would have done better against the mecha, since he fights that way too.
