Swashbuckling Haircut with Moustache Jim’s Fluttering Shears! Would you like rose water or chicory water? 🌹
We had an awesome time visiting Jim again and seeing his latest creations! In case you missed the hot towel shave video we filmed with Jim last year, watch it here👇🏼
• 💈 Moustache Jim's Stra...
In 2022, Moustache Jim Studios partnered with Top Chop Barber to open a barbershop.
Set in a building from 1913 and located close to downtown Minneapolis. The high ceilings, old wood floors, and Jim’s style reminded us of the 1920s. Since he opened the shop last year, Jim has been letting the space grow organically over time.
Adorning the walls, you’ll also see some of Jim’s work. Jim is an amazing photographer! He does old school plate photography. You can see more of his work here👇🏼

  • Absolutely love moustache Jim. He’s so chaotic but relaxing at the same time. He seems like he’s right out of a Tim Burton movie. He’s got pulley systems all around his space, lightbulbs flying down from the ceiling to get a better look, and countless drawers that you’ll never know what will be found within.

  • I love the way everything is so ergonomically wrong, in the back of cupboards, behind mirrors etc, but it works perfectly 😁

  • Hands down best cut imo. Jim's shear work and use of old-school technique and elixirs are something else!

  • This has become my favorite channel on KZhead. I’ve always loved and been fascinated by the ephemera of barber shops. The spinning pole, the glass jar of blue water, the neck tape, and the sounds and smells…unfortunately for me, where I’m from I’m unable to find such detail-orientated barbers. Mostly, it’s a rush job and here’s 50 dollars. Love ya Harry. From Nebraska.
