@@krystians2016 Another nail to PC League after Vanguard, compensating with armor is totally useless with % armor penetration/shred items. Passives that doesn't get bypassed with armor pen was totally needed like Rock Solid and Anathema.

ADCs don't seem like they can break the ATK speed cap anymore. There's no point for all this ATK speed in item stats if they can't break the cap anymore. Thanks Riot.

and surprisingly, the most broken item added is the boots that empoer recall permantly...those are actually insanely op, i would love to see the average game length stats after these are added, and this gonna be the most bought item in pro play, im surprise they even realised an item that fiddles with one of the core aspects of the game
I don’t think they can be bought by everyone. The shop labels them as “Quest Boots” meaning that there’s a limit on who can actually buy them. My best guess is that it’s restricted to supports only since they’re replacing mobis which were a support staple.

Would be better if they increased the base move speed to 45 and only had the recall reduced by a second or two. Still BIG but its at least not twice as efficient.

The swiftness boots change feels weird, like it’s just the old alacrity enchant, aka what every adc got, but adcs are going to go for zerkers into zephyr, so it just gets rid a of a nice option for anti slow

Isn't Zephyr boots just like... If your champ can even Remotely benefit off attackspeed, buy Berserk into Zephyr??? (I mean specifically over Sorc boots. Azir, Corki, Twisted Fate, ect) Theres no upgrade for Sorc boots? Only Beserk? Am i missing something?
You need to be level 15 to complete the upgrade. It's a lategame thing for ADCs.
Yeah but the issue is it makes you faster than swifties, I’m literally gonna just purchase these on any champ I can for the ridiculous movement speed they give. Imagine going free boots into these for 75 move speed, broken on any champ honestly
I figure ADCs tend to sell boots to buy PD anyways, so why not give the shoes a natural upgrade instead? It'll see more use, maybe, since you don't need to be full build to justify buying it. Of course, solo laners will abuse it, but that's nothing new. The more AA based bruisers will still buy defensive shoes, and I think Sorc shoes are still gonna be strong as is, although, if every type of boots have these post lvl 15 upgrades, I'd be fine with it, since it's a very cool idea. (I'd get rid of the extra move speed though, that seems like it's gonna be a real issue to balance)

Compensated with armor is such a useless compensation when there's a single item that halves nearly all your armor. Anathema and Rock solit was the only solution to Illaoi + Yuumi in Arena
LDR doesnt give giant slayer passive anymore, the anti tank rune from precision was also nerfed, and bork % damage is nerfed as well so it makes sense the rock solid nerf, randuim is very strong still

Ms on Kraken Slayer is gonna be great as an AD jungling item. Champs like Vi and Xin who rely on autos and like to gank will be even better at duelling. MS boosts on items are so good for junglers and AD champs needed more since so many AP items give 8% Bonus MS

Exactly. Atk speed becomes a useless stat late game. If anything it just makes thornmail even stronger. Riot are so stupid right now
ER was for gangplank. Botrk was for Yi/Irelia (lost 3% health physical damage.) Yone and yasuo? They only lost kraken and lethal tempo (like every other ADC in the game), Now they go IE into shieldbow instead.
i just want to point out that Phantom dancer lost it's passive that was giving stacking bonus attack speed, so it's basically nerfed, it gives 2% more movement speed, but the attack speed is not better, it's just immediate, you don't have to stack it, but with adcs that really on attack speed it's either stacked or they're dead
I can't wait to use the new Symbiotic Soles boots in ARAM. I'm sure it'll be the hot new boots to buy :)

The double burn with Leandree’s and black fire torch combined with the AP crit item are going to be insane.. especially if you adding something like cut down. They are definitely going to have to buff tanks.

dude thats a lot of resistance value getting removed from a tank with just ONE item, 40% is INSANE and now its has more ad and crit your average champ at level 19 has 100+ armor so in a literal sense that means Lord Dominik’s Regards now counts like a 40 lethality item

i don't really get the intention behind the boots change. The only good about boots of swiftness that it gives slow resist, they just removed it (i wonder if anyone gonna buy this boots again, specially when it gives equal speed to other boots out of combat)

I mean same, mainly cause I'm a bruiser top player so none of these changes affect me. These changes are mostly buffs to ADCs, which is understandable since the game's in a bad spot rn. They're nerfing sundered sky to the ground though, so I expected at least one new bruiser item to replace it

this is actually such a cool patch, i like when they add new stuff that will actually be used often. that being said, i don't know if these new boots are a good idea. they seem pretty powerful, and it's yet another boot option instead of just buying defensive boots. not the best thing when there's a damage problem in the game right now
It's all about plated steelcaps to be honest, mercury threads aren't doing crap outside of laning phase and even then that's essentially only relevant for mages laning against other mages in the midlane, tenacity is a meme unless stacked with other sources which basically only bruisers get.

Essence is a no go because both sheen and mana regen was essential for early so trinity is only option , IE is only dmg and crit left rest of the items are mostly crit / attack speed so its either pen build , tanky or Ap hybrid. Basically cucked , fucked and cooked.

removing the essence reaver passive is actually good cuz the champs that used it never ran out of mana after buying it. Gp could crit with point and click q+sheen, ez could have mana for 4 bussiness days, lucian would free trade etc. It was toxic.

Randuin's lost 50 health for gaining 20 armor. Do you only look at the first stat to determine whether it gains or loses? That's a lot more effective health vs physical and a minor loss vs magical.
It's still a nerf. It lost the rock solid passive, which gave up to 20 physical damage reduction. Before it had 400 health, 55 armor and 20 damage reduction that could not be reduced by armor pen or lethality; now it just has 350 health and 75 armor. It's essentially the same amount of armor and -50 health, with the added nerf of armor pen and lethality being more effective against the item now.
hmm not exactly , 20 armor doesnt correspond to 20 damage reduction on auto , and the slow is also buffed to 70%

Why did the add so much tenacity to items in the last overhaul to then take away the tenacity rune???? Even with all that 90% of the time you are stuck in ridiculous CC and damage is so high that you are basically dead, even more so overkill dead now. but okay...
