Series 14, when Hugh decided to sport a beard! This series was the 10 year anniversary of Mock the Week's run. One Scenes segment referenced on the Greece bailout story discussed earlier when production used the theme from "Zorba The Greek" and the panel had fun with it.
Ed always looks so pleased when he makes a good joke. I love it.
Oh his reactions are priceless
It is hard thing to do no setup more then the text.
I love Milton Jones, he’s like a dementia ridden granddad who just wakes up every so often and says something uncontextual
Be REALLY careful with this statement buddy. Some might take it the wrong way.
@@josephwear9572 I’ll admit, loving Milton Jones is quite the controversial opinion.
@@josephwear9572 that's their problem.
@@Anglomachianif you don't like Milton Jones you need to grow a sense of humour
The other comedians laugh hardest and most at Milton's material, I notice. I love comedians like him. Gary Delaney, Steven Wright, Emo Phillips.......
Hugh's triple joke about the lion getting shot is delivered sooooo perfectly! Very much like Milton's 'Cocka 1' and 'lighthouse keeper' triple jokes. He's just such a smart comedian ❤
“Please help me, I’m trapped inside a North Korean card factory…. Also, Iron Man says happy 4th birthday!!” is probably one of my favourites from this series.
Miles Jupp is a total hero 😂
The balamory one was amazing.
I seriously want to see Robo-Bongo-Cuckoo-Cop.
Don't we all
that gets me
Just wait for Syfy
monsoon poultry hospital is far more interesting.

15:52 In all my years watching Mock the Week I've never heard Dara laugh so whole heartedly aside from the time Frankie Boyle made a joke about Richard Hammond in a hypothetical advertisement.
Ed Bryne has had a few that make Dara laugh like that.

Love Hugh Dennis...he always had a good joke! "My favourite element is helium..." (voice goes up) "I can't speak highly enough of it!"

A real hughnit.
Very underrated.
Meh.
15:48 Possibly the funniest one ever. 😂
I would love to see Milton Jones, Ellie Taylor and Ed Byrnes on a future series of TASKMASTER! What fun that would be!
Holly Walsh as well.
"This the first time i have reported from the Pamplona bull run...FUCKING HELL!!!!!!!!"
that was my fave
ikr?
you reminded me of the flash game lol

15:51 ROBO-BONG0-CUCKOO-COP 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Must have played this 30 times at least now! 😂😂😂😂 Some imagination to even think that up!! Genius! Thanks for uploading this.
Hugh really nailed it this series
"I haven't had a full meal in 17 days; and I'm beach body ready bitches!"
Robyn Briggs Who is she anyway?
Ellie Taylor
thats not funny

25:01 is when the Dara bashing begins
They may laugh but Dara did study math and theoretical physics when he attended college.
Dara may laugh too seeing as its a joke on a comedy show
more like 25:19
+mindlessgonzoALT I think that when you're 6'5" tall with a huge head, a nerd, a science degree, and you're named Dara, you either need to develop a sense of humor or become a Bond villain. There's not much middle ground.
Graham Strouse A valid point.
Hugh is brilliant. Wish he'd do more improvisational comedy shows, I only ever see him in Mock the week or scripted TV stuff.
He was on Taskmaster. It was Brilliant.
😊😊@@Kinkylords😂😂😂😂😂😂❤😢
if I ever go to the UK my tourist destinations will have to include a Waitrose ;)
Gotta love waitrose
TheHutchy01 I just want to see what they're talking about :)
As I'm in New Zealand I also want to see what extortionate price they sell produce I can get from my local supermarket at ;)
It's just a supermarket that's overly expensive.
To clarify it is not stupidly over priced. It just sells higher quality items for a higher price. Do not get suckered in by all the inverse-snobbery that has gripped the UK.
Beckett is easily one of the UK's top comedians. Genuine guy, genuinely funny. Happy new years comedy lovers across the world have a great 2019!
"I Shot Gay FK" xD
Dara's PhD = Phenomenal Head Diameter
Milton Jones rocks.
Love Milton Jones..."A man drowned in a bowl of Cheerios...unfortunately and sadly, the family never got the chance to say good bye!" That made me laugh hard.
the bruce forsyth jokes, oh how thats changed lol
The man has finally passed then? Our did he do something horrible and got fired in the end..?

+Star The Mighty One! oh dear is seams as though we've gone all rhymey.
Abbie McPartland XD. Next Valentine's Day I'm gonna say that to my boyfriend
Why are people saying things that all sound the same? I think it's down to the fact that they seek out youtube fame... Emery Dawson said something that makes it tough to rhyme, but i think i can handle that it has to do with time. Now i know what your thinking you can't rhyme anything with rhymey??? But then i just quote The Doctor...."Wibbly wobbly, Timey Wimey"...
All things considered, I truly believe that Mock the Week is the best, as in entertaining, funny and socially relevant tv show of all time. Anyone agree?
No, totally biased.
@@zarrow50 agreed. I like scenes we'd like to see, but like anything from the BBC, the rest is totally biased.
"Boo hoo, the BBC hurt my feelings... but I'll keep watching their stuff for free on KZhead while regurgitating an internet trope I've not given much thought". FFS 🤦

Unlikely greeting cards Roses are black Violets are black Everything is black Im sorry I blinded you
Having watched all the compilations, it feels like the show lost something with time, it's still good but it's missing the controversy it once had, in other words Frankie Boyle
I don't know. Frankie was great, and has some outrageous moments, but all the highlights pieces edit out all the times he would cut-off another comedian and deliver a lame joke that wasn't funny. If you watch whole episodes he delivers a lot of flat jokes. And now, you have 6 good comedians delivering good material instead of the 4 regulars and two lame ducks who would either never get a word in or were rubbish. They don't go off script as much today which isn't as good but the written stuff is better. Robobongocuckoocop is one of the best lines of any series.
I'm not sure keeping Frankie on would be healthy. Lately, the BBC have been going PC to avoid complaints and lawsuits, but in doing so, it gets ugly, crazy, and almost laughable. With Frankie's antics, it might haunt the producers in the long haul. Even though Frankie can be child-friendly when he wants to (best demonstrated in his Scottish Referendum Autopsy when he brings a child on), the adults would just bicker.
I think Romesh Ranganathan could run a close second, albeit without crossing the line so much.
I don't think in the current rotation of Romesh, Robb, Sarar, Katherine, James Acaster etc there is any one single Mock the Week comedian better than Frankie, but on the whole the 6 panel rotation is better than the 4 plus 2 they had back in Frankie's time.
The only staple of the entire series was Hugh, because Andy Parson retired prior to Series 15.
Gary Delaney vs Milton Jones in a one liner battle. Now please, thank you.
the bit about the American president hits home.
