Dr. Joe Dispenza is an international speaker, researcher, author, and educator who is passionate about the findings from the fields of neuroscience, epigenetics, and quantum physics to explore the science behind spontaneous remissions. He uses that knowledge to help people heal themselves of illness, chronic conditions, and even terminal diseases so they can enjoy a more fulfilled and happy life as well as evolve their consciousness.
Dr. Joe is the New York Times bestselling author of You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter, which explores our ability to heal without drugs or surgery, but rather by thought alone. His most recent book, Becoming Supernatural, talks about how we can intentionally change our brain chemistry to initiate profoundly mystical, transcendental experiences and develop a more healthy body, mind, and spiritual life.
Dr. Joe didn’t always work in the field of neuroscience. He started out as a chiropractor, earning his doctor of chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, GA. He had a successful chiropractic practice, but one day he had a dangerous accident. In 1986, while cycling in a triathlon, Dr. Joe was hit by a truck. He broke six vertebrae in his spine, and his doctors told him he would never walk again.
Dr. Joe asked four different surgeons what he should do, and all four of them prescribed a complicated surgery. The surgery would relieve some of his pain but nearly guarantee he would never walk again. But that wasn’t good enough. He refused to have the surgery and instead began to imagine himself totally healed. He visualized each vertebrae healing and reconstructed his spine in his mind. In just ten and a half weeks, Dr. Joe was back on his feet, and in twelve weeks, he was training again and back at work at his chiropractic clinic. He fully healed himself with just his mind.
I’ve had Dr. Joe a couple of times on the podcast now (Episode 826 and Episode 679), and in the past, we’ve talked about unlocking the power of the mind and breaking the addiction of negative thoughts. But in today’s episode, I wanted to change it up and ask Dr. Joe about relationships. Our conversation blew me away so much that I had to split this interview up into two parts, so stay tuned for the second part on Wednesday!
But for now, join me on Episode 1,054 to learn about how to transform your mind for lasting love and magnetic relationships with the incredible Dr. Joe Dispenza!

    • Just phenomenal. I listen/read Joe Dispenza stuff constantly. Always hitting the right nerve. I love hearing him acknowledge his own insecurities, that he, too, has to reign his thoughts and emotions in from time to time. Makes doing the work and following his lead, guidelines, philosophies that much more relevant and motivating.

    • Nonsense. I will still see flaws in others if am happy. That's why we have teachers. Again, something that sounds like making sense but is wrong. In fact if you are happy with yourself that means you are doing a lot of things right. And you will see even more clear in others those same things when others don't do them right. • @@ToFunForThis yeah they tend to. Kuz there is space open for it. Like when I was initially manifesting my dude, it was almost startling, the fervor he pursued me with like, jfc 😂😂 like an anxiety-ridden bucking bronco. He looked like he was going to faint because i was even so much as talking to him omg. But I was just like 🧐🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. So it actually also is not true how ppl say u attract what u are, kuz i was chill af and that guy was just about losing his mind over me 😭🤣🤣🤣 it was hilarious, and adorable tbh. I was intending my dude be more reciprocal etc in some certain ways tho, and I was open to receive etc and then suddenly several guys started trying to pursue/chase me 😬🤌 as I made that space. Often they will say the specific things I intended and that's odd bkuz these are basically strangers saying things a significant other/life partner would say. It can get weird. So uh, there's that that can happen too 🤣🤣😭 Voids tend to automatically be filled. Like when you align yourself and elevate and suddenly maybe a striking number of ppl are attracted to your light, tho that isn't always a good thing... but for sure ppl are attracted like moths to a light tbh. And when I meditate and empty my mind and I'm all zen, and then suddenly my mom will come round and feel the need to literally fill my brain with her chaotic messy dramatic nonsense. But yeah when you are vibing high and allowing, etc, it often will result in some hardcore interest like full on, hopefully from your significant other but I do tend to attract a load of riffraff as well 🤷‍♀️ lol sighh.

  • I wish every person whose been hurt and chose not to do the work and heal would listen to this. Frankly it should be mandatory. What a different world it would be. Way too many unhealed toxic folks walking the earth. This is why it’s so hard to find someone at the age I am. People are settling and staying in relationships or dating all the wrong ones. I’ve done the work and continue to do so. I’m healthy and happy. I’m also ok staying single because settling isn’t an option for me. I love my life and love that I’ve arrived to this place. Hard work though. I pray this for everyone.

    • Mandatory? The fact it is not mandatory is the reason you find it difficult to find someone? Everyone your age is "settling" in bad relationships, due to unhealed toxicity? So you would literally compel someone else to conform to your world view so you can get laid? For such a loving person you assume and project a lot of very negative things about people and their relationships. Maybe most people "your age" have figured a few things out you haven't and maybe they are happy in relationships. Maybe "there are more things in heaven and earth..." (and relationships).... Than are dreamt of in your philosophy ..."

Share share share. It matters because the professionals can teach how to do it but without the students doing the work and confirming their story then beginners or people with limiting beliefs only think it works but only for the rich, gifted, special and highly educated. It wasn't until I started reading the 1000s of comments like yours that I started believing what he teaches could work for anyone including me. It takes practice, persistence and Patience and.trusting the process. Listening to him and other people's interviews everyday was what I had to do for myself.dr Joseph Murphy, Dr Bruce Lipton, Neville Goddard and 100s more from around the world from thousands of yrs ago to present, from every culture or religion I learned their powerful messages of encouragement on how they found the peace that passes all understanding and drive to share their testimony with the world was what has kept me going.im so grateful for Dr Joes work today because he's used his platform as a Dr to bring the scientific data to prove whats happening when we meditate. I gave in we dated got married . I’m now divorce my life flipped upside down . I never knew my best friend was bipolar narcissist verbal abuser cheater. This was the worst relationship in my life . I’m working on getting myself back. The ex still constantly shows up wanting me to still be available as a best friend . The most toxic mess ever . • It's because when you were younger and friend zoned him you were not attracted to him then, and you still weren't when you took him off the back burner because he seemed like a good father and provider. Problem was you were never attracted to him and he wasn't your first choice. You probably subconsciously resented him for this. He didn't have to the tools to understand what was going on and lashed out in the toxic behaviors you said he did.

I got diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and it's flipped my world. I'm questioning everything I've done and not done. Everything seems like a mess and I'm digging myself into a deeper hole. This condition it's gonna make socializing a lot of work. Don't know which woman would want all of this extra baggage. So yeah I'm hopefull but I am also holding back. • It's so true. Break the programming, and change thoughts to the positive. I've turned my life around, and PTSD is a thing of the past, by having quiet time, meditation and listening to certain audiobooks, keeping away from abusive types, and from having bonds with people who are unsuitable. I've realised it's not my place to fix everything and everyone's problems, and that codependency has been replaced with only doing things which are appreciated by others. I'll never change my kind nature, but have developed more discernment. I now live a very quiet life, it's lovely. Right enough, good things are coming, got a new job, and feel better about everything. Negative thoughts are necessary occasionally, but I definitely dwell on nice things now, and it makes such a difference.

  • I reached that state many times, and am grateful , it’s about focus, mindset, vibration, doing the things in life that feel good, not just every now & then, but every day. Every day, I love to make coffee with a grinder, I love watering my plants, I love to hike, yoga, meditate, cook, listen to music , dance, write, draw, paint. While I can’t do all of them every day, some I can and they bring a sense of joy & peace. My old pattern beliefs however were heavily triggered during my last relationship. They brought me into an abyss, that I am healing from, and I’ve done it so many times throughout the course of my life, that I feel like every time I’ve experienced this, I’ve learned something a lil deeper & more insightful about myself & others. And the thing about it is, I can see the patterns before I am trying to make a judgement or decision. It makes me go a LOT slower, to take time to reflect & choose differently than I have in the past. Ergo, not choosing the same pattern that I can see ahead of time. Choose love always, yes, I agree…. And yet, when I get to the state of wholeness & awe, I want to share with someone, because I want them to heal & feel good about life tooooo. This feeling of wanting to share it, along with a feeling of I can handle whatever because I’m whole, well, that seems to attract some people that will use me. Discernment is a great side dish to go along with love 💕
