  • The IDF needs to try a fumigation strategy. The IDF can use colored smoke which is sprayed in one of the tunnel holes in large volumes. The smoke will definitely come out of other connected tunnel holes. This method will speed up IDF identifying tunnel access spots.

  • Um…I Don’t think Shaldag is a tier 1 unit. In fact I am certain that it is not. Israel’s only Tier 1 Special Missions Unit is Seyerat Matkal.

    • Tier 1 units of the IDF (that we know about): Sayeret Matkall, Shayetet 13, Shaldag and perhaps Unit 669. Shaldag work deep in enemy territory directing IAF strikes. They are elite, highly intelligent fighters at the very top of their profession.
