    • ​​​​​​​@@LegatusMortis No, he suddenly got drastically better after an update. I used to clown him while barely trying with 10+ blunders and I'm rated 650 in rapid. Now I can hardly beat him when I'm actually focused. All of the beginner bots skill levels were increased and pretty much all of them are programmed to play legit openings now.

  • Just a tip: You can right click after you pre move so the bots move faster. I always use this because it gets tiring waiting for the bots to make a move.

  • I must admit Levy, I miss all the recap videos. I’ve been watching since August 2020, and the recaps really are what made me continue to tune in daily. Of course, you should continue to do whatever gains you views, but I do miss when you’d expertly cram 6+ super GM games into a 20 minute video.

Part of what was fun was to tune in and see the current progress/standing of the tournament. He hasn’t done something like that in a long time (besides the WCC)

    • You know, I rewatched that segment, and I just realized, how did he not see Bb7? It gets the bishop out of the way, cuts of the Rook from defending the Knight (and the square), *and* is literally only a one-square move, so it's not like the bot had to see a long diagonal. It's not one of those Magnus Carlson brilliant 7+ move combos.

  • Martin plays good moves but only at a depth of 1 (Captures w/out reliseing that he might lose his qween / rook / any other peice bassicaly and only spots mates in 1)
