Making the Fiberglass Widebody! Sky-gea Build: Part 23

2024 ж. 12 Мам.
715 237 Рет қаралды

Back to work on the Stagea after a fun break with the Mx5. In this video we finish off the first side of the widebody by prepping the moulds, laying the fiberglass for the new fenders, then trimming and fitting them to the car to wrap up the first side of this widebody.
Enjoy the video.

  • its safe to say that this is hands down my favorite youtube channel at the moment. 85% my previous ones are getting dull here in the states. If they see this coment i want the real ones to know yall are much appreciated too. Just stop smashing brand new or used parts when youbare replacing them its a real smack in the face to us little guys. its only the ones who grew up getting whatever they wanted their whole lives doing that. And the ither guys thats just cranking out the "look what I got" building a car in 3 weeks with hardly any insight at all for the community. keep your head up your ass long enough every generation will reture u.

    • @@TofuAutoWorksIn 2 weeks time I've been invited to a photo shoot with some of the best modified max power cars in the UK and I put alot of that down to watching your content Max power was a scene in the UK about 20 years ago and I wasn't old enough to build or drive a car back then, but along with the dream to build one from a kid to watching your content and custom making my own body kit and really getting to build my dream max power car I feel like ive achieved something in life I've always wanted to and to get the recognition in the way i am for the car I've built feels amazing, I could chat all day about stuff, however I'll be vlogging the day of the photo shoot that ill be attending in 2 weeks and id love it if you was able to come across the video on my channel and see the car I built with the skills you gave me. Thanks for always inspiring to think outside the box with every episode.

  • お疲れ様です!When you're applying solvent-based release agents usually you can sort of massage it into the surface as opposed to buffing it off, in order to avoid streaks, which I unfortunately cannot explain well enough to render this comment useful 😅 Great stuff, very much looking forward to seeing how you tackle the other side.

    @kenecchi@kenecchi5 ай бұрын
    • I actually know what you mean. If you sort of sit there while it's evaporating and work it at the right moment you can get the finish almost completely streak free. I'm just really impatient and had a lot of moulds to do haha. But still, at least it's only the final layer that has to be buffed and not all 5 - 8 layers of wax that I used to do.
