Welcome to another Don't Starve Together base tour! Today I am showing you around the recent community Endless server from last month, which will include our community base, a few player builds, and finally my own collection of private islands. This Endless we played with Kyno's Heap of Foods and "Apparels Overload" mods which add tons of additional content to the base game. The mods make for a dramatic expansion to the possibilities of building in the game, and I want to show you just how much you can do with this content!

This video is current as of the 2023 Cult of the Lamb Crossover update.
"Terrors Below" is the follow-up to "Taking Root" and is the second installment of the "From Beyond" content arc in Don't Starve Together. Deep in the caves, Dark Miasma will spew from Shadow rifts opened by defeating the Ancient Fuelweaver or by server settings. New shadow thralls will emerge from the Miasma bringing new materials to craft new “Horrible” tools and gear. Also, get your fingers into some Scrapbooking!

The way mega bases usually look is not to my taste - not a fan of an artificial garden look with symmetry everywhere. But I loved the chaotic stone garden. edit: wife demanded I also praise the coalefant garden. It was very cute.

"Here is the cave entrance that we use all the time.... oh god..." Sounds about right... I feel like I learned loads about item placement this time around. It was so much fun seeing everyone's builds.
Hehe this sure does add a lot of stuff. It's pretty confusing at a first glance, but I feel like as a Warly main, I could get right into a server like this.

That shade effect from the big tree is really cool! I play on Xbox, is that a pc exclusive visual feature?
Big trees are a vanilla thing, they're late game-ish thing you can get from ocean. They basically provide immunity to wildfires in given area and huge buff against overheating. Feel free to check the wiki on how they work, cause getting them up is a bit more complex than your usual tree

I really love some guide for the mod or a link where i can see the info. about how to make some recipies, where you can see it, some structures you can make right away or you need a blueprint or some boss?

OOO I CAN DO IT!! Heaps of Food is a really intensive food mod that adds in a TON of new recipes, crops, ingredients and new methods to making newer foods. The basic stuff is stuff you'll see quickly, like wheat growing in savannahs, aloe in green areas, sweet potatoes and mushroom stumps in forests, and parsnips in the swamp!! I personally use Deluxe Cooking Pot just to bulk make food but there are a TON of new recipes and buildings for said recipes to boot. Grindstone to make flour, spices, oil, newly added sugar, and bacon! Honestly, I highly recommend it. Especially if you're like me and just love making food for people. The happiness it gives me when I ask any kid character if they want some cake, doughnuts or a pie can't be rivaled.

Hey Jazz man, I have a fun challenge for you; playing DST but as the Terraria summoner class! - You can only deal damage through whips like the tail o' three cats, alarming clock, kelp etc. as well as summons like Maxwell's puppets or any mob you can befriend or have fight for you (such as a horny herd of extra hairy cows) p.s. Bee mines are ranger weapons so they don't count ;) - You can use any armor and eat any food you like (adjust as needed) - You can use mounts like Beefalos of any trait - The shield of terror can be used but only for defense - You win once you defeat every boss in the game I hope to see you try this one day, hopefully it'll make a good viewing experience for the Twitch chat too!

I like the mod now, i used to think it only adds foods and crops i didnt know it added new content other than that, seems like a cool mod but the new crops being retextured crops is kinda lame
I think Kyno had planned to add new sprites for the crops but something happened with his artist and it was gonna push back development waiting on the artwork.
