@25:13 the mushroom planters likely didn't grow because of the don't starve alone mod. It suspends the cave while you are on the surface (and all plant growth)
then what is the don't starve alone mod for? Does it reduce the dst lag or something?

I think the video is cool but I believe "the thing" about a wormwood is being a good farmer. I'd consider a S tier wormwood in a team the one that know all the gigant crop combos for all seasons, uses shoorms planters, is good at building and know to get his garden items and fertilizers in a good speed without depending of other players. Extra points if they know how to organize and provide necessary living logs and crops to their teammates. At the end of the day, we are talking about a multiplyer game adn there are playes who may not seek a combat approach and its not all is the game about.
For long term wormwood players, Super Growth Formula is the most efficient way to stay in constant Bloom, and makes the Bloom Skill's redundant, allowing you to invest in other skills instead.
While not as viable for a boss rushing video I feel people heavily underestimate how good of a healing source honey poultices are. Especially since Wormwood can make monkeytail reeds. If anyone wants to play Wormwood in a non-boss rush style setting up some beehives and a small reed farm should be one of your top priorities.
During the klaus fight, I really enjoy using moonshrooms once I've found the archives to keep the deer asleep. Makes the fight way simpler and decently faster!

For my wormwood vs bq fights I just bring 20-30 or so moon shrooms and keep the grimbles asleep and tank with marble (bramble aoe can wake up the bees). You can heal off just a bat bat fighting her this way, since the only damage you take is from bee queen and 95% vs 90% DR essentially doubles your health.
How long does this method take to beat her?

I would say the lightbug perk is extremely useful, even in a boss rush. It spares such a headache, and you can use light during bosses before star callers. It's convinient, even though you're removing the need for otherwise cheap items it really adds up.
If you collect a lot of monkey tails and have a few bee boxes healing salves are genuinely super good. Especially when we have the shadow scythe
You cann also use bramble husk specalist to kill tentapillars hitless without having to dodge, so wormwood can be pretty good for finding atrium quickly. but it doesn't have to be just for tentapillars. I find it extremely good against hound attacks and for bees!

Everyone sleeps on the healing salves tents and honey poultice, remember wormwood can literally craft monkeytails and bees don’t get mad at him for taking their honey Also bee queen has a new cheese, idk the exact science of it but someone put an ice flingo on a boat with sails as well as some grass tufts on the land, they trapped 4 pigs in a small c shape and lured her into it, she was stuck and permanently frozen This cheese apparently works on any boss providing it’s near water

Healing salves and honey polutis are heavyliy underrated frist both are very easy to get (altho honey polutice requires honey farm) in fact eay easier than pierogi are all you really need for helaing salves is ashes as you will already be getting alot of rocks and spider glands from doing other task and ashes can easily be gotten by like bruning radom seeds you find on the ground or getting like 3 stacks of light bulb and burning them the also dont rot so you can stockpile as many as you want and save for boss fights so they are much easier and time efficient to get than pierogi and can be stockpiled (also for genral healing just sleep takes like a minute to restore 120 health And 60 sanity so you waste less time later dealing with shadow creatures.)
Healing salves are indead easy to get , you just need like 6 Bunnyman for a tier 3 nest and you have a farm that will give you 3 usefull itens and unlike honey farm it works all seasons

The “no healing from food thing” isn’t a downside. It’s an invitation to start using alternative healing methods that most wouldn’t use normally.
it's also an upside in the way that you can't take damage from foods either, meaning red caps and raw monster meat are yummy tasty snacks
Also since sanity practily no problem you can use shadow releted items

I am Wormwood mein and I recommend that people tame the Beffalo because it provides protection for the Wormwood and also speed, infinite weapons, the best combination is the Beffalo warrior with a butterfly saddle because thanks to this you are able to avoid many attacks, even the bishop's attack.

You mentioned that the skill tree you're using to tailored for boss rushing specifically. What changes would you make for the best overall wormwood skill tree?
The monkey tail skill tree and bee kind are extremely good for honey poultices
You can probably swap the poor sap skill for Bee Kind or the second lunar guardian skill since you can use werepigs to mass produce manure through lightbulbs. Bee Kind isn't really necessary either, because there's always panflute for the Crab King + Killer Bee cheese, and honey poultices can be acquired fairly easily without the skill. Although the bright shade melee skill is hardly necessary too because you won't get one until after the Celestial Champion. Choose whichever of the three you want. If you really like making honey poultices then just trade the ENTIRE mushroom planter branch for monkey tails, lureplant and Bee Kind. This way you can make an autofarm for your dumb, stupidly good, honey poultices. The mushroom planter branch is better short-term for rushing, but yeah, you'll have a better late-game with access to craftable reeds and such.

In an all boss run, do you think it would be more viable to do celestial champion first then do Fuelweaver so that way you can use the buffed brightshade gear?
If you're trying to do it as fast as possible, I would say no since you'd have to wait for Brightshades and the Rifts. You'd also be giving up using the Bonehelm and armor, two items that make the CC fight a lot easier.
Not to mention wormwood is one of the easiest characters to solo Fuel weaver if you plant like 50 bramble traps first.

Do you find the bloom skills particularly useful for boss rushes? The way they work is that the first two let you get to bloom 25% faster, while flower power increases your starting bloom and bloom cap when fully bloomed. This means that if you intend to stay fully bloomed, the only effect of those three skills is being able to "store up" more bloom between applications of growth formula. There is no resource savings in that case.
In a short run, u don't have time to farm enouth growth formula, so u keep losing the bloom constantly. Those skills points helps for longer bloom

Hey, have you tried out the followers wormwood can make with the skills much? I can't find much information about them and haven't killed celestial champion. I'm wondering if they're worth using
The lightbugs are great above ground but get stuck on everything in the caves. Carrats kinda suck, they only pick up edible stuff so only really useful for gathering seeds/rot or the products from broken giant crops. No clue about the saladmanders since I haven't tried them yet.
They are nice to have but not necessary. The Carrat is cheap to summon and great for colleting tons of seeds in the early game. The lightbug summon is also relatively cheap to summon early game and helps provide light while keeping your hands free. IDK about the salamander, I haven't used it as much as the other 2. Iv found that they work well as tanks and can help sweep smaller mobs like spiders and bees. @@rr-cf8nv The salamanders are arguably better tanks than bernie. Not only that but if you use bramble armor, a lightshade sword And wormwoods lunar bonuses he can get close to Wolfgang with a dark sword DPS, so about 220 DPS (And this is without bramble traps). His combat skills are the most underrated in the game imo.
Whats the deal with the equipping/unequipping helmet tech? does it cancel the beefalo attack animation? and do you have a video guide on such a thing?

Sorry never tried one with Warly, I know Jakey beat all the bosses with him so I'd look to that video. I'd imagine the best way to boss rush with Warly is to tame an ornery Beefalo, get the War Saddle and then fight the harder bosses while under the effects of volt goat jelly.

I was playing in a servrr with a wormwood and he kept making living logs and then killing himself with koalefants and we have like seven stacks of living logs 💀💀💀😭😭😭

It's to cancel the attack animation which lets the character attack faster. Jazzy has a guide on this if you're interested.

Even if Maxwell imprisons him, Toadstool will still spawn sporecaps after 15 seconds of trying to walk back to the center.
