Thank you so much, you are Special, as the Requiem
Thank you. 🙏 I needed to hear this. Much love Blessings on all of your endeavors
I have discovered that classical music can be played in the background when studying literally any subject and it never diverts my attention like pop songs. its amazing
Its the lack of lyrical content and lack of rhythmically driven compositions
I read something about listening to music without lyrics or at least lyrics in another language that you can't understand, helps with concentration.
Brothers...the glories of this world is great, but do not forget the eternal, everlasting glory of kingdom of the righteous king, Yahweh. Righteous God, in your grace, may these lost children return to you. Amin!
How many times and on how many videos did you comment this? 😂
Requiem for my dead brain cells
"Now is my final agony. No more." Chopin's final words, as he listened to Mozart's Requiem. Edit: this is wrong, chopin didn't listen to it as he died. However close to his death, he did listen to it and request that it be played at his funeral. Sorry for the misinformation, I'll make sure to do more research next time.
thats metal right there
If I'd ever do it I'd listen to this

Mozart, to this day, is the only man to make death audible.
Haven't you listened to Rachmaninoff's isle of the dead Op29?
Check out Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6 final movement
shit thank you people for introducing me to these lovely pieces
try : the great gig in the sky
The Berlioz Requiem and Brahms Requiem are also epic pieces.
Many just came for the famous part (Lacrymosa) @ 24:27. Before Mozart died, only the opening chorus was completed. From sections 2-4, only the vocal score and organ part were written out. Sections 5-8 were missing completely. The Lacrymosa from Mozart had only 8 bars completed. Mozart's wife Constanze approached Mozart's assistant and collaborator on The Magic Flute, Franz Sussmayr, who took the fragments and completed what we hear today.
The Lacrimosa is so beautiful
thank you for such important information
Nice to know thank you
Constaze's sister Sophia later told of Mozart's final moments: "The last thing he did was to try to mouth the sound of the timpani in his Requiem; I can hear this even now." - Christoph Wolff (Translated by Steve Taylor)

This requiem was the last concert, my father heard. My mother was on stage, singing in the choir. I hold the hands of my father in the church, knowing, it would be the last he could ever here. Words, not spoken beetwen him and me, he took with him in his grave. 😥 For me Mozarts Requiem will ever be connected to my father, where so many words of reconciliation were never spoken. I miss this unspoken words up to this day. 😥 But I hope, 🙏 he will see me, sometimes and will have good times in another world. Family ties and true love last beyond death.🌈 Silence is silver, speaking is gold, listening is platinum.
Wonderful .

I watch this for the 40th time and I’m not bored. Best of Mozart and one of the best of music history
Honestly, "Confutatis" it's just epic
I had the pleasure of singing this with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra when I was a junior in high school. This is one of my favorite moments of my childhood, if I'm honest. It was one of my crowning achievements and I'm thankful I got the opportunity. Hell I was singing along as I was listening and it just took me back. We stood for 2-3 hours straight and KILLED it. High schoolers. Singing one of the most intense pieces ever written. It was a sight to behold.
Every time that I listen to it it gives me new sensations and unknown layers of feelings. Such an impressive, everlasting masterpiece. 👌
Wolfgang, you heard heaven and let us know, miraculous and beautiful, thank you
Mozart did have great great teachers and predecessors : Handel, Bach, Hayden and many other glorious names!
I'm not good with music, but this is the best hour I've spent in awhile.
Brilliantly and profoundly sublime and intense.A true masterpiece.
Effortlessly and brazenly apt and primed. A masterful display of empty buzz word usage.
an youtube still puts ads on it
The most famous parts of this are of course magnificent, but it's the "Tuba mirum" that has always gotten to me the most.
The best classical piece of all time in my opinion. So many emotions. Mozart was a true genious. Austria should be truly proud of the fact that person like him was born on their land🇦🇹❤

The gift that postmodernism could never fathom.
Evil godless modernism/postmodernism could never fathom the infinite holiness of Triune God almighty, which Mozart clearly saw a glimpse of on his deathbed and pleaded to Christ for salvation (in lacrimosa).

music that you really have to feel into to get to know it best
Never been religious and never will. However, I believe that some people were born specifically for a purpose. Whatever it was that they achieved, it changed the world and was meant to be.
Our Deepest Fear By Marianne Williamson Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small Does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.
