  • In Game 2 Axel's opening is unfortunately old news as creative/prolific GM Duncan Suttles often played the KIA with Nh3, and then many times followed with f3/Nf2/e4 (60's 70's), including Suttles vs. Hort Polanica Zdroj 1967, Suttles vs. Polugaevsky Belgrade 1969, Suttles (2470) vs. Keene (2435) Skopje 1972, Suttles (2425) vs. Andersson (2595) Thessaloniki 1984. Because of his influence I have tried this in a couple of serious tournament games, as well as speed chess in the 80s.

      @czarp@czarpАй бұрын
    • Every time friendly team OCD for their own strategy had them screaming at me to buy boots, I was way ahead of them, and they never knew why I was running like a mad hatter when they couldn't see on the mini-map with what I saw with my own eyes. Very few saw the opportunity of time and placement, using the definition of speed (distance over time) to line up everything like a good shephard. There were other items for speed that scaled damage off the bat that made me faster with the same amount of gold.
