Most billionaires have their money in stocks and assets, but to have 450 million in cash, sheesh 😭
Tyrone illuminati
Ironically It is actually a Prince from Abu Dhabi who bought it . Gates ,lost, Chinese billionaires lost, Russian billionaires lost and even the funniest part, the Vatican lost to a Muslim country for a painting of the Christ sold by a Jewish Broker , which is something i find utterly hilarious ! And his fortune The Prince's is estimated to 41 trillion dollars so 450 million is far from making his wallet lighter .
he was a middle man for the abu dhabi louvre...
Morgan Olfursson lol it's not a big deal to the fucking vatican. they have roofs painted by da vinci. they sell one of his paintings and it is capable of crashing the economy.
They are not allowed to sell it , because the Vatican is not a private corporation or person .
Pawn stars Rick: I can give you $300 and I’m taking a big risk
Underrated.
Why they do Leonardo like that 😂
Right?
truuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Lmao!!!!!!!!!!!
Had me in stitches !
It’s official ! the painting was purchased by the Louvre Museum in the united Arab emirates
Is true?
It was Prince MBS of Saudi Arabia
No lmao it was the Saudi prince MBS he bought it and it was confirmed look it up...
MBS bought it for the museum, but never delivered. So where is it? In a sitting room somewhere..
@@jessiejoseph1093 That's some bullllshit right there, yo. That's a gansta' move!!
Poor Leonardo Dicaprio.
SpiderBurger never thought De carpio is that much poor
Prince Mohammed Bin Salman bought it. The $450 million was pocket change for him. His family is worth 1.4 Trillion dollars.
the satan
It's scary that one family, with the heads being MBS and King Salman own more wealth than entire countries. Hopefully that money is used to do good with Vision 2030.
I heard he lost it and later found the painting in one of his yatchts xD
@@hnys7976 oil bro oil! We can’t live without it
@@StrictlyLiverpool Yes but it shouldn't go to one family.
1:13 He's gonna put it on Amazon.
It was on sale this morning in Walmart , $9.99.
😭😭😂
The orb things really interesting. The great Leonardo surely wouldn’t make this mistake. He was all about precision in his works and studied optics and absolutely understood how light works. Would love to see this painting one day.
I’m wondering if the paining had got in real bad condition and the Restorator did that trying to make it look like it should of but fucked it
@@Burt_Sampson exactly
Most of the Saudi princes are in jail now so you can probably eliminate them..
well it was actually a Saudi prince after all
and not any prince, allegedly the crown prince himself lol
dick
Mhammad bin salman has money enough to buy the whole universe and u say u can eliminate them wtf
For $450 million, Mohammed bin Salman can buy eight years of Israeli/Pegasus spy software to help cut the fingers off and murder every domestic and international critic he’s ever had ... and that would be a great bargain for Netanyahu and Likud, to have a partner like that in a Palestinian peace plan.
I am shocked they don't know this? it's all over the internet. The name of the buyer of the painting "Salvator Mundi" by Leonardo da Vinci is a prince from Saudi Arabia, Bader bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan al-Saud, a Saudi royal associated with the crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman. The Wall Street Journal reported that the crown prince was the "ultimate customer" for the painting and that prince Bader acted as his proxy.
I have a feeling its Vladimir putin
All these millionaires easily buying super expensive stuff..and I’m really out here struggling with $1.57 in my back account, it’s tough.
pathetic.
Rubio Carlos get a job
No millionaires would be able to afford it only billionaires and those with more than 10 billion to be exact
thanks for telling me that leonardo dicaprio cant afford it in the most condescending way possible hahaha
Also look how he’s facing straight on, nearly *ALL* Da Vinci portraits are facings 3/4
Another thing that Da Vinci never really did was paint subject in a straight portrait pose; he's known for painting subjects at an angle.
"Garden variety billionaire" wtf
So much ..compassion ...
It's me, I bought the painting! I live in my van and hang the painting from the back of the passenger seat.
Oh you bought my minecraft painting
It sold for 400 million not 450 million
I'm sure the real one is on a wall somewhere. Well, if and when they find it. It will be worth more than a billion.
The painting clearly looks like the work of Leonardo's student, and young lover, Gian Giacomo Caprotti da Oreno, better known as Salaì. Anyone who knows Salai's work, can immediately see his hand here!
No one knows if the two really had a relationship. The „evidence“ is mainly based on writings published decades after Leonardo himself had passed away, as had Salaì, and while Leonardo was accused of sodomy in his lifetime, twice actually, he appeared to not have been all that interested in worlds affairs of the flesh, although it should be noted that warning of lust may not be the same as abstinence or chastity. Overall, while there is certainly a possibility, ultimately we have no conclusive proof although such a revelation may be quite amusing, given the current owner of the work of art which prompted our little debate. On a similar note: the Prussian monarch Frederick II, known as the great, has a similar minor controversy attached to his name, the issue being that likewise, nothing of certainty has appeared to fully establish such a claim.
Extra 50 millions are probably for the shipping. 😂👌
There's no way it's a fake unless there was some phantom artist as good as or better than Da Vinci going round at the same time and somehow remained unknown.
Abu Dhabi Museum Bought it
The da vinci code next movie, something is on the back of Da Vinci's Salvator Mundi! Oh my god! It's a treasure map! And the correction of the thumb wasn't just a correction, the x-ray shows the treasure's coordinates if you decrypt it!
0:58 maybe Mc Donald ore Starbucks employer to
I’m the buyer. I have it hanging up in my bathroom.
Must be crazy!
There were no mistakes! He was painting a portrait of a man he probably believed was unlike any other man who had ever lived!
I thought they were cracks or imperfections on the orb, not reflections.
I just watched the auction video and the sale was for 400 million USD. How did it become 450?
Tax
50 million buyer's premium
the $50M is the fee for the auctioneer, Christies
Thats the same cost as building a huge mall. 😱
if it's the buyer's now... he/she could literally destroy it and no one can do anything about it
Ironically It is actually a Prince from Abu Dhabi who bought it . And yes wouldn't that be hilarious if he torched it . That would teach a VALUABLE lesson to the art business .
Yeah, I don't believe you
@@morganolfursson2560 41 trillion? you mean 20 billion ? only rothchilds have more than 1 trillion kid
@@TheAlchemicalPortal No Miaster Destruction , not only the Roths, this is an urban myth . The royal families of the middle East are rich beyond beliefs .Their assets are extremely private though and you won&t find it by googling their net worth . First of all because everything is under different names , using screen companies and other in between , Plus they do not need to place their money in Switzerland , because unlike the Roths, the Middle Eastern Royal family DO own their country and do not need anybody's permission to do whatever they chose . Trust me the 41 trillion is real . And also don't underestimate the Chinese . You would be very surprised to learn about the assets and fortune of the president of China . Trust me here too, communism is long gone there , the only communist thing about china is the flag . Not a country has more billionaire than China . The Roths are filthy rich, no doubt about that and powerful , but not as rich as they once were .
@@morganolfursson2560 however the middle east royal family consist of hundreds of relatives and then wifes/husbands , so the money don't belong to just 1-10 people but a lot of them
Some one In Abu Dhabi bought, its probably not a Leonardo work.
Excuse me , my English is not so good. But maybe you can help me. In the auction they sold the picture for 400 Million Dollars. As seen on the screen. Why does everybody says that the picture is sold at 450 Million Dollars. Please explain it to me. Thank you!!
I can only hope that in you quiet moments you can stop talking about the purchase , and Leo ,and really take a look to the uniqueness and pricelessness of this peace! I
So whats the point of paying 450 million if you just give it to a museum..im confused
It was probably Alice Walton. She's a billionaire, and a well known art enthusiast.
It was bought by the abu dhabi government. Its on display now in the louvre abu dhabi!
fantastic .......
Why the Leonardo Dicaprio diss??:D
Because America
Og was 400M, 450!*
50m $ was fee
The prince of saudi Arabia bought it
Nonono it was 400,000,000
One n only MBS 🇸🇦
Saudi prince bought it. Its in Louvre in Abu Dhabi
Che storia..!
imagine buying a 450m peace , and people have evidence it's a fake .. damn
Mr. Destruction well it’s not fake. It just might not have been done by da Vinci. Shit it being done by someone else out of his studio may even make it more valuable.
@@2299mikey no, that doesn't make it more valuable .. since the other person is not as famous as da vinci .. that makes it worthless . plus , yes.. since it's being sold as a "da vinci" painting , and it's not.. it is then fake
Mr. Destruction no it would actually make it more valuable. It’d still be one of the most talked about and famous paintings in the world. I don’t think you understand what makes art valuable these days
Peace is fack
Like I said elsewhere, I think it could be madonna cause once seen an interview where this star said he went to her house and she said do you wanna see my art collection like real matter of fact and she led him to a secret doorway and he said he couldnt believe how she had all the masters and some were just stood up against a wall! He said she had devincis and picassos, constables etc etc and he was taken aback just how flippant she was having millions and millions worth!
Madonna doesn't own 450 millions
buona giornata
IT SAYS IT WAS SOLD FOR 400 MILLION NOT 450 WTFFFFF 0:34
Mestermand the fees

Even if I had that kind of money , the only way I'd pay that much is if it was a self portrait by Jesus. amazing story though .
Yang beli Sultan bro..
450 million dollars Four a pating? a very Good bargain today It's worth five times More now!!!🇮🇹
The orb was rock Crystal.
Wrong. It was $400M. Not 450.
Museum? Yeah! The Weissenburg Museum!
i have a catalogue that had a pretty much identical painting done by a florence school in the 16th century. Doubt this is da vinci
Leonardo just bloody drew this in a drunk afternoon not recognizing the failures he probably made and lost it in his cellar or some and now humanity spends so much paper to just own it😅
This painting look a lot like Mona Lisa.. The same eyes nose flat hair and mouth looks the same. Painting more Faded. Maybe different kind of painting used.
I love the smugness of the "experts". They know nothing. There's no money in a fake.
Want to see this picture
IT SOLD FOR 400 MILLION!
its 400M, idk why they boosted to 4.5M...
Jonah Lafleur fee is 50
This is not a painting of Da Vinci. It is a good painting of an apprentice of Da Vinci, which is transformed by an artrestorator in a typical Da Vinci (well done, but still fake)
Is it authentic?
I am constantly teasing my girlfriend that she is a dumb blonde which makes her very angry So one day she said Ask me ANY question and i will answer it I said Who painted The Mona Lisa? She said Leonardo I was impressed Then she said Leonardo Dicaprio....
How about Mona lisa...how much???
Insurance value is it $820 Million.
The owner of it can do whatever he dam pleases with it.
The painting is incomplete ,there is suppose to be a cigar in his right hand!!..
man makes casual remark. everyone: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
... if it was original .. !? (450M)!?
I now confess. I bought the painting. Please don't track me down.
Its a nice write off for whoever bought it
Madam Edralin Marcos.
It literally says on the blue screen 400mill us dollars. so why are you pulling $450mill out of thin air
And hes like. Who bought it a saudi prince or chinese billionaire. Why are you naming steriotypical rich people. Im sure even africa has 1 billionaire. What a rasict cunt news station
We know they were Christian's, The buyer recited KJV Revelations 12:1 I see it is in 'good hands' Thank God Amen 🕆❤
that picture should be in Florence, it is a disgrace that is not in Tuscany as it is a shame that the mona lisa is in France and not in Italy
Leonardo’s is laughing his ass, telling the buyer you fool paying someone’s painting, that’s not mine.
it must be nice
chill folks....we sold a jpeg of a rock for more than than...money is worthless these days
Justine bieber bought it he filed bankruptcy yesterday but he said he doesn’t care coz he wanna change
If Amazon says no comment then that means they bought it.
Skull no they didn't some Saudi prince bought it and he's given it to the emirate museum
A Saudi Prince for The Louvre in Abu Dhabi. The Louvre in Paris having The 'male' Mona Lisa - as he said in the news cast. It's unveiling in Abu Dhabi has been postponed - twice! Uncertainty & mistakes da Vinci would never have made. It was a pure business transaction as art is exploding in the Middle & Far East...this was / is the perfect catalyst. www.SvenDaliPress.com
it was for 400m not 450m
Such a fucked up world...
it was 400 000 000
It was restored? that's not worth it
Its 400 million
Wonder if we'll see it show up in the White House one day soon, so it can belong to the ages? Wouldn't that be awesome?
I reckon it was some crazy rich Russian, they are the ones to have that much money lying around in cash
Banksy needs to re appropriate this thing
It was sold for 400million not 450
Lumork correct. But add fees it adds up to 450 million.
Its $400M
the auction makes fun of rich men who want to buy the painting Leonardo Da Vinci's "Salvator Mundi" but it is not real?
American .,Chinese ., Saudi Prince........... There are no other Billionaires in the world or what?
400 not 450
