  • This fight was so cool the first time I fought him. It’s so cinematic and engaging. Kratos killed all the other gods before Zeus, and now is using all their own artifacts against him. Kratos could sense the thoughts going through Zeus’s head when using the weapons of his fallen kin. “you killed hades and you’re using his own claws against me... Hercules too...Those are my sons gauntlets! Helios.... what did Kratos do to you?...” Nearly every weapon Kratos used on him was basically a taunt, an insult to him, escalating the fight. Making both fighters equally pissed at eachother. Making both their desires to kill eachother even stronger.

  • Ngl when I first fought Zeus I had no idea I was supposed to stop on my own, I thought the game would stop me when the time came, but no I spent a solid 50 minutes beating on Zeus wondering when it was over with. There really should have been an achievement for beating on him for much longer than necessary

  • 28:40 - Notice how in the post-credit scene, there's abviously that engraved bird on the ground, most likely pointing north. Kratos' blood trails moved south of that and the camera panned far into the horizon of that direction. The original idea was to set God of War 4 in Egypt (Egypt is south of Greece, for the americans around here that famously suck at geography), before they changed the setting to take place in Norway.

    • It is the same box, the gods took it and put inside the flame to protecc the "other power" because they thought that Kratos used the evil power in it to kill Ares, but instead both came out and Kratos used the power of Hope "the other power" and the evil infected the gods, that's why the box is empty.
